I am not against those seeking success but when you call yourself a man chosen by God, your ways should be distinct else the relevance of your calling would be lost on everyone.

The apostles in the Bible did not measure their success by how rich and famous they had become. Or did they? hell no. How did they know they were successful? Simple. They became less, while Christ became more in them. This was evidenced by the number of true converts that experienced the power of God by their becoming less, and Christ becoming more.
