AmuRubber: By appointing Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi as chairman of the so-called Council of Chiefs, the governor is playing foul as he is waiting to see if Emir Sanusi will call for the inaugural meeting. By so doing, it means Emir Sanusi has accepted the new law establishing the new Emirates and if Emir Sanusi refuses to accept the chairmanship and do not call for the inaugural meeting, the governor will query him and institute a disciplinary case against him. It is a catch-22 situation Very well analysed |

Hmm...when what you will eat has made you so blind to the truth People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.

The DSS just reached rock bottom and have started digging. Lies upon lies, denying the obvious without any atom of shame! The important thing here is: they invaded the courtroom, even if they did not successfully arrest him in there People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.

adekolaelect: OK sir Faaaacccctooors in disclose able one day God will expose those that hold Nigeria to Ransome and deal with them all . Technical and integrity issues that have been tabled before the panel. They are trying to paint ASUU black here and it will not work. If ASUU joins, our educational sector will be totally destroyed. For instance, look at TSA, which has been used to mop up every penny from the University system. Universities have been grossly underfunded under this regime because they only release money they feel is needed. Lecture Halls are not maintained, research grants are no longer available, teaching materials are hardly available and much more rot now in the system. This government is trying to suppress ASUU, that's all. |

jumper524: We both know ASUU are scared of being exposed. Instead of tabling out those factors as terms of being enrolled, they are blatantly rejecting it.. Scared of being exposed over what? I'm not saying some people don't work two jobs, but they are not full time jobs and it's done in other countries too, not only in Nigeria. Not excusing some corrupt academics, but I assure you this is not the solution. |
Politics › Re: Ippis Enrollment: ASUU Slams Agf, Ahmed Idris, Says He Couldn't Pass Ican Exam by backnbeta(f): 4:09pm On Dec 08, 2019 |
adekolaelect: We should reason and comment beyond petty sentiment .it is a shame to fail ICAN for the cannibal of AGF but this is not the time to debate on that the issues on ground is why ,what and where are ASSU hiding that make it difficult for them to register under IPPIS which other government agencies had done without making too much trouble like ASSU is doing presently They should obey the regulation of mother regency not to come on Media to attack the person of individual who doesn't have power to stop government agencies not to carry out its job functionalities. Tell us why is not good or the negativity aspect of you registering under IPPIS So Nigerians can justify what and where you belong to with IPPIS .Bcs it is very easy for your enemies to pretend as your friends not until they are exposed . The system is questionable and flawed, it will not work with ASUU...ASUU can't easily be integrated on that platform due to some factors identified and pointed out. |

celeiyke: The top brass of APC have refused to comment on the Sowore and DSS saga. The DSS have chosen to act in a way more crude than we ever experienced under the military. Osinbajo,Tinubu, Oshiomole, Malami, Rochas have all lost their voices.
Silence means consent, this clearly states the APC doesn't want opposition to it's rule. This could account for why we have elections worse than the first republic under the rule of the APC government. They won't talk because it's a script written by them. |

DanXplore: The motivation for bill might be sincere, it is simply a case of misplaced priorities. The potential for the bill to be used as a weapon by politicians is also of great concern. I think a bill to review the penalties on corrupt politicians should take precedence over the social media bill. What people are saying is that if you must implement the social media bill with such stiff penalties with the argument that it would curb false news propagation, do so in like manner to corrupt politicians. The effect of the latter is worse than the former. It is as simple as that. I doubt it was ever sincere. They just want to gag us and too bad, we now have respected people in the society supporting this evil all because they are scared of scandals! In my opinion, people who don't have skeleton in their cupboards will not be scared of social media |
