>Injectors sticking open too long!

>Over-fueling
Solution: Take the Nozzles for Servicing and pressure Testing

>Faulty turbocharger
-Not enough air to match the fuel
-Carbon clogged Turbo
-Broken Turbo Seal

2. Blue smoke is an indication of oil being burnt in the combustion chamber. The oil can enter into the combustion chamber for various reasons .


> Bad valve guides or seals


> Worn power part (cylinders, piston rings, bearings, ring grooves)

> Seized Rings to Piston

> Diesel and Engine Oil dilution
> Bad Turbo Charger


3. White smoke occurs in Diesel Engines when raw diesel comes through the exhaust completely intact and unburned. Some causes of this include


> Faulty or damaged injector pump and Nozzles
> Incorrect injection timing
could be a worn timing gear or damaged injector pump crankshaft keyway or key, and Low Injector Timing

Low cylinder compression (eg caused by leaking or broken valves, piston ring seizing, cylinder-ring and bearing wear, or cylinder glaze)

>Water entering combustion spaces will also create white smoke
This can happen when water enters into the Diesel Tank
