Is it out already? Can't find it on animepahe
It is cinema exclusive for now. Not out for download.
Probably in some weeks or months.

But you can find clips of the post credits scene on the internet but likely without subs.

The Attack on Titan finale should have been initially released as a movie just as the producers originally intended but were forced to split it due to time...

According to the Sat Gurus on this thread, those of us that ain't into cartoons are daft and not intelligent enough cheesy
A big thank you to the guy that talked about prison break some weeks back, I'm almost through with s1.
No be my fault say I no like cartoon I guess I'm kind of old school and I'm also not intelligent enough cheesy
So your issue with Arcane is that it's animated and not even an issue with the story or writing?

We are in 2024.

If you are still looking down on animated media for the sole reason of it being animated, I'm sorry to say you are way behind on the times.

Animation is just a medium of storytelling. There are animations with far better story, writing etc than most TV shows out there.

You shouldn't limit yourself by claiming something cannot be good simply because it is animated.

There are even some advantages animated media has over live action.

Arcane for instance reveals some of these advantages. Due to it being animated, visual storytelling can be taken to the max unlike the limitations of live action.

If your sole criticism of Arcane is that it's animated and you cannot actually point out any notable flaw in its writing, then the issue is with you and whatever high tower you put yourself in, and your level of media literacy

Nobody is crying, we all know you don't like arcane an obvious fact you don't hide. Not bad when we let you enjoy your AOT hype, let us feast too, is that too much to ask?
If I did not like the show I wouldn't rewatch it to cross check my initial opinion.

I rated the show 9/10 from 6.5/10 and even apologized for my previous rating.

If I was a hater, I could have spent my entire review nitpicking...but I didn't.
Even the minor flaws I pointed out, I explained why they don't matter much to me...

But hey, I'm a hater of Arcane. That fits your narrative.

Just because I hype AOT doesn't mean I don't hype other shows. I've rated shows here 10/10 too like Mr. Robot

No, but I've seen the new post credits scene on Twitter without the subs.

It's from the school caste manga that Isayama drew of another universe where Eren, Mikasa and Armin lived a different life.

Weirdly they watched the events of Attack on Titan in a movie. Then at the end, the tree was shown to also exist in their universe and has grown even larger

Aren't you masturbating in your Eren Yaeger pyjamas over Attack On Titan?

With all your fanboying over AOT, you are now hypocritically complaining about Arcane fanboys
I rated Arcane highly, yet I was still called a hater of the show.

That is my issue here. Tagging people haters for even praising the show, just because they don't call it a gift from the Lord
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Baddestguyp(m): 11:53pm On Nov 10, 2024
Anyway, it wasn't our night...

From the Semi-automated system error...
To all our players suddenly making poor crosses and passes and poor shots...

And somehow Real Sociedad played their best match of the season. Everything went against us.

We will bounce back like we have always done this season. We can't win it all
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Baddestguyp(m): 11:48pm On Nov 10, 2024
Now that everyone knows the semi-automated system is flawed.

What is the way forward?

Mistakes like this can't happen again.

La Liga should introduce a rule where referees have to cross-check the images...

These Arcane fanboys on this thread are so insecure that they are fighting non-existent enemies.

Anybody that doesn't cry that the show is the best thing delivered by the Lord is now tagged a hater who wants the show to fail.

The insecurity is crazy

If you want to know people have been nitpicking the show already but you can see I haven't done any of that.

Most of the complaints were about the new characters. Personally I don't care about that, nor will I criticize it for that. The show is focused on a central cast, even if the new cast isn't developed, it doesn't seem like they'll have much of a role.

The goalpost has shifted to "So are many other shows"....The same show you rated 9/10 and had a long epistle on the good things about the show, epistle of good things so long, that aunty spamy had to step in, and you just had to use your other 2 monikers to speak the gospel truth about the show 😩.

The thing i have clocked, is that y'all want the show to fail so bad, and the show if for any has very little thing/s that are bad, so y'all just nit picking, just to find something to whinge about, and say, Hey, I'm different, ain't moving with the Arcane hype

Show wey for your innermost mind you know say you enjoy wella, but agenda no gree let you see road...oga barb another style abeg...this one done cast 😬😩
What are you even talking about?

Yes the show is good. I gave my review. I listed great parts and also listed a few flaws

But you act like it's the only show I've rated highly.

Only you dey push agenda say them dey against your show. You dey fight invincible enemy.

Arcane season 2 is off with a decent start.

The animation and music are on point as expected. You can see where the $250m budget went.
The transitions between different scenes were nice although sometimes overdone.

Kind of weird that Jayce and Viktor are the only somewhat relevant male characters left. I have high hopes for Viktor's character...

1 day to go. Last thing I want to touch on is the speech aspect of Arcane.

The dialogues and monologues are absolutely well-written, with a lot of lines being very impactful and memorable, as well as, displaying tenets of the characters' personality such as Viktor's self-awareness, Mel's resilience and Vi's street upbringing.

But when it comes to quotes, both dialogue and monologue, Silco is the undisputed king. And while a good portion of this is because of Jason Spisak who really got that poisoned honey manner of speaking across, whoever wrote Silco's lines did an amazing job as well.

Will definitely miss Silco in Season II but from what I saw of Ambessa in Season I, looks like she'd be a worthy replacement.
Characters speaking like Philosophers will never not be funny in animated shows.

Even many anime like Naruto do the same lol...

In reality most people don't speak like that...but they make for good quotes...so we love them lol

Omo 😩! I just know bulk of the money went to the VFX guys and animators. I really would like to see, how hard they cooked S2, more than S1 in terms of the animation, because the animation for S1 totally snapped... one of the most aesthetically pleasing animations in a while.
Voice Actors and Artists probably took the bulk of its budget. It's Hollywood afterall.

But I think there was still enough budget for the animation, that's why it is great and not like the PowerPoint animation of Invincible

The level of writing in Attack on Titan continues to amaze me everyday with every new detail I notice.

(Read manga right to left) - I added the following pages to show before someone here claims I am reaching or overanalyzing

#copied from Reddit a comment that perfectly explains this -

"In season 4 episode 13 "Children of the Forest," Sasha's dad has a beautiful speech saying that adults need to keep the children out of the forest. It's up to adults to shoulder the sins of the past and not pass that burden on to the children. In several places in the series, the forest is used as a metaphor for all the terrible things people do to each other. Artur Braun encourages people to leave the forest and find peace, bury the hatchet, forgive each other.

The episode with Hange stirring the pot of stew uses this forest imagery a lot (also with the tree branches)

So here (this image is far earlier in chapter 71) Grisha is literally and figuratively leading Eren into the forest. Telling Eren to avenge his mom's death, passing on the Titan powers. Seeing this scene in light of what comes later stopped me in my tracks."
An added layer to this scene is that it is later revealed that future (present) Eren manipulated his father into taking him into the forest...

He did this by purposely sending specific memories to him and feeding on his rage...and desire for revenge...

But his father, being an adult should have known better especially with his experience with his first son, than to lead his second son, Eren to the forest.

Shows another fault of Grisha as a father

2 days to go. One of the best aspects of Arcane is its music, which is not surprising if you've come across League of Legends media a few times.
The old joke that Riot Studios is a music company masquerading as a video game company doesn't even really feel like a joke these days cos Riot has really grown their in-house music portfolio to crazy levels.

Arcane: Season I had an absolutely magnificent OST album. The score encompassed multiple genres including pop, jazz, country, hip-hop & rock. It took an already amazing story and elevated it to greater heights by accentuating the environment and moods in various scenes.
I still can't tell whether Jinx and Ekko's fight was animated with Dynasties and Dystopia in mind or vice versa. And I really don't believe the climactic scene hits as hard as it does without What Could Have Been by Sting and Ray Chen playing in the background.

From a few tracks released for promotion from the Season II soundtrack album, I have no doubts we're getting another amazing soundtrack. Whether it'll beat the Season I soundtrack still remains to be seen.
Bro thinks Arcane was heaven-sent

4 days to go and today, I'll like to revisit the architecture and environment design of Arcane.

The contrasts between Piltover and The Undercity. Even when Piltover is shown during the night, you still can't mistake it for The Undercity with the clear differences in their aesthetics.
I think you're overhyping basic worldbuilding aesthetics.

Take Game of Thrones for instance. Every city is distinguishable by using things such as lighting, colors, even the designs of their clothing, the designs of rooms, building architechture etc...
It's a technique the writers use so that even when the scene changes to another location, anyone can tell where it's occuring at a glance.

Naruto for instance while it does not cover most of its world, anyone at a glance can tell if a scene is taking place in Konoha or the Sand village or the Hidden Rain village. In other words, while all ninja villages have different aesthetics, but the different towns look the same.

Avatar does this too. Every Nation has different aesthetics to it. At a glance you can tell if you're in the fire nation or the earth kingdom or water.

On the other hand, The Witcher has poor worldbuilding as every city/town looks basically the same. Nothing feels different from town to town because the land scape is exactly the same.

Arcane does use that worldbuilding technique but it's nothing special. It's basic if anything.

And there is nothing special about the worldbuilding of Arcane so far in season 1. Just 2 locations.

Maybe in subsequent seasons, there will be more, but I don't see why you're overhyping basic worldbuilding.

I don't think the worldbuilding in the Arcane animated series is it's strongest point so far. The source material has a lot of locations I've heard but barely anything has been touched in season 1

Imagine saying that a basic revenge anime with an overpowered MC, has a better plot that Arcane. Not only that, character building.

Arcane that almost all the main characters have gone through loss, failure an pain, which changed them.....

A simp will always be a simp sha. Dundee utd
Arcane's plot definitely has more layers than Blue Eye Samurai

also, simply having characters go through loss doesn't automatically make them great characters...

Jayce and Jinx are well written so far tho...

Vi despite being one of the main characters is nothing but a badass sister who cares and wants to find her sister...

I expect more from her in the last 3 episodes

No let Abduleez hear you with this your Isekai praise.

Really tho Arcane is more nuanced than Solo Leveling if we are being honest.
Anything has better characters than Solo Levelling.

Solo Levelling barely has anyone you can call a character. The characters are poorly written stereotypes...

Having multiple stories doesn't make a better story. Blue Eye Samurai has a better plot and more humane world building- a story that's complex yet understandable and still different
Having multiple stories gives better depth to the plot.

I agree that Blue Eye Samurai has better worldbuilding.

For characters, it's tough for now...I'm at episode 6.

Arcane has only 2 great characters so far...Jinx and Jayce.

I expected much from Vander but he was a disappointing character

Vi is barely a character sef so far...I expected far more from her ...but still 3 episodes to go
TV/MoviesRe: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Baddestguyp(m): 7:09pm On Nov 04, 2024
In terms of story, Arcane so far is better than Blue Eye Samurai.

I'm not saying it's an overall better show...but Blue Eye Samurai had a simpler story of revenge...

Arcane on the other hand has multiple stories of several characters which intertwine.

I wasn't much of a fan on my first watch of Arcane.

My rewatch is not only to prepare for season 2 but hopefully to change my perception of season 1.

And so far season 1 is better than I recall.
4 episodes in so far.

I'm keeping an open mind, but I don't think it's as good as some are hyping...
But let me wait till I'm done...at least it's definitely good so far

The music, the cinematography, the art direction so far are great.

The character writing of Powder/Jinx so far is really good. The show knows how to portray her mental state with visual storytelling

The other characters are okay so far, but I'm waiting for the show to delve more into them...

Joker 2 character assassinates Arthur Fleck and character assassinates the real Joker as well...
