The Rumbling and My War from season 4 of Attack on Titan are both better than Red Swan.

Red Swan is controversial in the AOT fandom. Many consider it somewhere at the bottom of the list of AOT openings

How then can it be one of the best AOT openings?
Unless it's solely based on your taste and not acclaim

Imo Naruto should have at least 4 openings among the best of anime. Bleach should have 1 or 2

Dave was the worst actor in that movie, his physique was not suitable for an elite assassin and he looked so stiff and uncomfortable. And my goodness, the injections in his face made him look AI generated.

It's not even an issue with his acting in particular. I thought he did his best despite not fitting the role.

All the actors didn't fit their role. The script was silly and feels like it was written by a 5 years old drawing an action comic for fun...

The premise by itself was awful and relied so much on characters acting stûpid.

All the so-called assassins were all terrible and incompetent

The Killers Game....5/10

Most people missed this show.
Can't really say anything about this without spoiling it.
The show had some unexpected twists and also some predictable twists.
I wonder what people will think about the ending of this show...

Finally saw Deadpool and Wolverine. Not only am I done with superhero movies, I'm also done with snarky characters in all media.

Did not enjoy. 4/10.

I thought it was a decent popcorn movie.

I didn't go in expecting any serious plot. Just the usual shut-off-your-brain-and-enjoy movie

None of the jokes landed too, but I still enjoyed the movie...
I didn't regret watching it...

The entire movie was breaking the fourth wall...all the criticism about Marvel...
Marvel indeed know what people are saying about them...

The whole multiverse thing never made sense, nor was it consistent.

I have been uploading photos with minimal fuss for months now and i keep seeing people say they can't. Infact i will just upload a random info to this post about recaptcha, just to show you.

It fails most times due to various reasons too. I use NL on multiple devices, and it is works best on one of my particular device which isn't my daily driver which i supposed it would work fine on, since it is the more robust and recent device, but No. so check your devices too. Make show your browsers is updated and has JavaScript enabled, or better still, change browsers. Network strength too also impacts it.

There's no way to defend this.

The site is broken and Seun needs to fix it.

You admitted yourself that the site works better on your older device which obviously makes no sense. Even before this recent encounter, only Google chrome could upload photos for me on this site.

Now I can't upload any photo no matter the browser I use. Even comments are 50:50.

Half the time when I try to comment, it just keeps sending me back to homepage no matter what browser I use till I give up.

I have updated all my browsers, nothing works.

It's clear that this site is now broken beyond repair or Seun doesn't care about fixing the issues.

If you have to keep toggling browsers in the hopes of a simple comment or upload, then it's obvious that the site is completely broken

Love and Pop (1998)


Bumped into this 1998 Japanese movie randomly while surfing my movie site.

Anyway, the movie revolves around a High School girl named Hiromi and her friends. Hiromi is the main focus.
It shows the pressure Hiromi faces while coming of age. She wants to buy things for herself, she wants to live like an adult. As a result, she goes from an innocent highschooler to someone who engages in "compensated dating."

Compensated dating is or was a big thing in Japan. It is similar to prostitution but less sexual. It mostly revolves around lonely middle age men paying young girls for their time. It can go from simple things like walking together or eating together or even more creepy kinks and perversion

Hiromi craves for an expensive ring she sights in a store and wants to buy it at all costs. But the only way she can afford it is to enter the world of compensated dating.

Her friends accompany her at first and the requests from "clients" were simple at first but soon after the requests from clients become more and more creepy especially when she continues the compensated dating all on her own.

The movie explores youthful ignorance and societal decadence and is even filmed throughout with camcorders showing multiple camera angles, alluding to Hiromi the highschooler who just bought a camcorder and plays around with it

Ultimately the movie ends with Hiromi understanding her own value which she had sought to tarnish/degrade through her cravings and actions. She also understood the grief of those who cared about her i.e her parents and how they would feel watching her taint her own innocence...whose hearts she would be breaking by tainting herself further

This is not a movie I would recommend to the GENERAL AUDIENCE but rather a much more niche audience who might/would find value in it

I have used Chrome and UC browser and Phoenix...

70% of the time it doesn't work.

Yamal will get his rest when Flick determines it is needed. Besides Yamal rests in games. There are moments in the game where he doesn't take any risk but just retains and passes the ball and does less tracking back to retain energy.

The game against Getafe was tough. We don't have a strong bench and rotating was too risky.

If he took off Yamal who was our biggest threat, Getafe would have no fear in attacking. With Yamal on the pitch, that attacking threat is there and Getafe can't attack needlessly even when Yamal is doing nothing.

Not comparing Yamal to Messi, but it reminds me of when Messi was here.
Teams would attack us without fear when Messi was on the bench but be more conservative when Messi is on the pitch...

So Yamal needs to keep playing till our injured players return.

When Olmo is back, we can rest Yamal more since Olmo poses a major attacking threat.

Kingdom part 2, far and away is a solid 9.5/10 for me.

This movie just got better and better in this part 2.
While the part 1 was about what happened and how they took back the kingdom, this part two is all about non stop war, no breathing space.
It was blood and gore from the first minute till the ending of the movie.

And now this is just even the beginning because there is a betrayal in the palace, a failed attempted assassination of the king.
And now the part 3 will dwell on who and who gave the order.
I will now focus on downloading part 3 and part 4 later.

This entire chinnese franchise has been a hit back to back.

Omo I watched Part 3 early this year.
I did not even know Part 4 was out. Seems it just came out late July.

By the way it's based off real Chinese history actually. The manga is of the same name and there is an anime with about 5 seasons so far I believe.

The characters and wars are all real and documented but they translated the names from Chinese documents to Japanese versions of the same names.

So reading up Chinese history is massive spoilers. For instance I was spoiled on the death of a certain Character some years ago...the character just died in the manga last year but I knew he would die since about 4 years ago...and he was my favorite character.

This was my first ever introduction to the Terminator Franchise. So I am not familiar with a lot of things regarding the franchise as I've not seen any Terminator movie...

I don't know much about Skynet or anything, but I enjoyed this series

I criticized the series for falling into the same pattern as previous Zack Snyder works and thus having quite similar flaws...

But I still praised the areas which were improved upon like the character writing

Synopsis:
Sigrid, an iron-willed warrior, saves Leif, a mortal king, who falls in love with her; they both survive Thor's wrath of terror which embarks them and a crew of crusaders on a merciless mission for vengeance, against all odds.


A better adaptation of the usual Zack Snyder plotline.
The protagonist(s) has to take down a major force or power and spends a few minutes gathering comrades and they go on a journey together to defeat the powerful villains.

As expected, there is so much lore dump especially for 8 episodes without giving the viewer much reason to care about the lore.
Personally I'm getting tired of so much Norse and Greek mythology in fictional stories.
I'd rather watch fresh original lore rather than another take on the same mythological characters...but that is a personal opinion...

Unlike Snyder's previous installments though, this story actually has some characters given some time to be fleshed out.
The series follows the same Snyder pattern of characters going on a long monologue about their backstory - this time it was a campfire, in Rebel Moon it was a round table meeting...

The difference here is that at least we were given time and reason to care about a few of these characters. They even spent some time developing the villains...

There is still some plot contrivance and the whole thing with someone not going to Valhalla because of her weapon and another going there was weird...
Unless of course there is an explanation I missed somewhere.
At least it's revealed Valhalla isn't a good place but merely another plot for humans to be further used by the gods...

Anyway, it was an enjoyable watch even though it falls to the usual pattern of Zack Snyder's works...
And less slow motion this time...

But instead full scale nudity and erotic scenes

I used to somewhat avoid old anime because of differences in design between now and then but Mushishi has changed my mind. From now on as long as a show is rated solid by reputable sources I'm digging in. I've never cared about popular shows anyways so it's good.
