Season 8 of GOT destroyed the show so much that people just stopped talking about GOT...

You should watch 24....the first season is a repititive drag but the show overall is very good...

Neon Genesis too...the first half feels like the typical monster of the week with some character study...
Till you later start getting reveals that turn the show around...

By the final movie - End of Evangelion, it becomes so complex that it's still getting dissected for over 20 years

Sitcoms are rarely about "plot", as each episode has it's own "plot", and as such you can watch any episode at random after your first run plus most sitcom are about 21 minutes top. The plot most times aren't "head scratchers, so with all these, i believe sitcoms are one of the easiest medias to consume.

And that's why I can't watch sitcoms tbh...

I prefer story-driven movies/shows...

I don't like episodic shows at all

This movie was better than the first but the underlying issues remain...

Characters...characters...characters...


Rather than spending time developing many of the characters, the movie spent more time using music and "emotional baits" to attempt to get us to care about the characters...

The only characters who seemed to be slightly more developed in this movie were General Titus and Kora...

take Nemesis for instance...I doubt Nemesis spoke up to 5 lines in the entire movie...
Are we supposed to care about a character who doesn't even speak just because emotional music is played during her scenes and she wears a sad facial expression?

The same goes for several other characters in this movie...rather than spending time developing these characters, what we get is emotional or epic music during their scenes and good cinematographic shots...

In other words, my complaints regarding characters from the first movie still stands...

Second aspect is lore...
It feels like the lore in this world makes no sense but is merely there for stylistic purposes...

Take for instance the scene where the former king was killed...with the instrumentalists playing at the background...what were they there for?

Why would anyone stage an assassination with a whole band playing in the same room? It serves no purpose apart from style...


The same goes for the Scribes who came out to the battlefield during the negotiations even though they were easy targets there...
Why exactly were they there? So the scenery and costume looks good?

You don't need Scribes out in the middle of the battlefield recording events...when their books gets destroyed immediately...
It makes them just look stûpid...

And why is Kora called the Scargiver?
What exactly did she do to earn that nickname?
I kept asking myself if I missed something in the movie as to why she got that nickname because something like "princess Slayer" would be more fitting
Or "king Slayer" because she was falsely accused of killing the king


The plotline with the robot still feels like a useless addition...

The biggest improvement from the first movie was the action sequences for me...
There were still slow-motion sequences but at least, now the action scenes felt like they were better directed...

The Cinematographic shots of villagers harvesting grains was tiring to watch...
It felt like an elongated farming simulator without the story depth to go with it...

A group of old villagers who never used guns until 2 days before the invasion somehow being good at shooting is so unrealistic (since they spent 3 out of the 5 days harvesting grains)...

Characters fighting heroically in the front lines out in the open without cover while you could see shots flying everywhere around them looks only epic to an 8 years old...
But very dûmb to any adult watching the movie...

The second half of the movie at the end of the day is still an enjoyable watch especially since the second half is basically a long battle with millions of huge explosions...Synder style...

My fave sitcom of all time, An absolute delight each time i get to re see it, and i never seem to get tired or bored of it lol.

A good friend of mine, sent me all seasons, back in 2014, and ever since then, Bar S9, i think i have ran through all other seasons more than 10 times since then.

One of my favorite shows last year was Vinland Saga S2. The entire season of 24 Episodes had only like 2 or 3 short fight scenes...

Literally 70% of the season was about characters farming...

But I only enjoy action scenes according to you...smh...


I watched 3 Body Problem like some week back and even went into a deep dive on the lore and story spoilers...but according to you I can't enjoy a show without action

I've seen Game of Thrones twice...but my rewatch ended at season 6. Seasons 7 and 8 are not worth it...

I've seen 24 twice. I've seen Neon Genesis Evangelion twice.

In part 2, during confessions, she shared more on her pain. The little boy warming up to her, the little boi saving her and in turn dieing for to save the little boy..

That's the peak and perfect character analysis and death of the character. She died happy.


Like I said.. go re watch or you have no idea what's going on in the movie at all..

If you want full character development of each of the main characters..

Sit back and get ready for Zack Snyder Justice League type for rebel moon..

Within few minutes, he's able to do justice to character development of all but General Titus to which I'm sure will shed more light on in part 3.

Here again you missed my point on Nemesis..maybe I have to repeat myself...

Nemesis in part 1 did not want to join the crew for revenge...she said she was against revenge...yet General Titus was sold in her presence on joining them for revenge. That is issue#1

In part 2, all of a sudden she's after revenge. This means her character regressed. Issue #2

Then finally she died to save the people at the barn...at the end she wasn't fighting for revenge but to save.

A character going from fighting to save to fighting for revenge to fighting to save again...it shows to confused character writing...

Secondly...she had almost no dialogue in this movie...she had like 10 lines...yet we are supposed to mourn her because sad music was played in a scene where she died to save some civilians?

It's a case of lazy character work that relies solely on baiting the audience with sad music. You fell for it...I didn't...

Zack Synder is terrible when it comes to character writing...
It seems you don't know what good character writing is...that's why you're saying all these...

The tragedy was top notch. Can't believe I was moved to tears when Nemesis died and the boy was with her. It's so chilly chilling scene.

Also when Gunner died.. that's expected. Athelisas must pay for her sins one way or the other

Its nice when Jimmy showed up too to join the fight..

Men.. the movie is lit.


Part 3.. Finding Princess Issa.. will be the best of all the rebel moon
