Ninja Kamui went from some sweet hand to hand ninja combat to machines jumping up and down. Episode 8 was total drab

I still haven't watched past episode 3 to be honest...

I wasn't liking the vibe...it didn't seem like it offered much in terms of story...just the fight scenes that created hype

What if Lady Ochiba suspects that Toronaga knows this...so she's trying to get rid of him to silence him...

There's something suspicious about how only Lady Ochiba was able to produce a child for the Taiko

Yes she took all sort of herbs and concoction but I'm sure all the other"candidates" took all manner of things yet failed

I believed he was 100% loyal to the Taiko and his son since the first episode, plus his reply to the Taiko on his dying bed about not wanting the Shogun title which the Taiko reply something along the line that Toranaga is a wise man.

However

The revelation of Lady Ochiba that Toranaga was the one whispering into her father's ear in the killing of the Taiko plus Toranaga's confusion as to why Lady Ochiba hates him brings a lot of questions as to where his loyalty lies.

Whether to himself or to the realm.

Or what if Lady Ochiba is actually secretly his ally...
But rather she's just helping him get justification to go to war...

Lady Ochiba is running in the shadows...
She can easily play both sides and put the blame on Ishido

I still haven't gotten S3 of this, not necessarily because it's a bad show, but their M.O. became too monotonous to me. Did it get significantly better after S3? Was there enough twists and turn to keep things "fresh"?

It's the same all though...

I think I stopped at season 4 or 5 of Peaky Blinders

It became tiring since there was no central conflict to keep me going...
Each season just has its own conflict...

Because I understood that we have a limited squad, lacking in key functionalities. It was when Xavi finally put Christensen in the midfield to limit the floodgate of goals we were conceding, that things started looking up again tactically.

Of course, the second season dip in form is always there but I believe the team lacked personnel in key areas of the team unlike last season, which most coaches with Xavi's experience, will struggle to fix quite effortlessly. Remember this is his 2nd full year as a coach in a top European team.

Only issue I have is that he said his decision to leave at end of the season, is final. If I knew his house here in Barcelona, I would have gone to beg him to stay on because for me the only coach that will improve this current Barca side, other than Xavi, with the team having all key personnel in key areas, is Guardiola or Klopp. I am still undecided about Nanglesmann.
