Season 7 featured one of the most stûpid decisions and mission in the entire show:

Where a smart character like Tyrion thought it was wise for them to go on "a mission deep beyond the wall to capture a nightwalker alive to take to king's landing to convince Cersei to join forces with them"

Tell me that is not the dûmbest thing you've heard today...

A character as smart as Tyrion suggesting such a plan is nothing short of character assassination.

The plan was so dûmb that it's highly regarded as one of the dûmbest decisions of any character in the entire GOT. Tyrion should know how useless and pointless such a plan was.

Apart from it making absolutely no sense, there was no way the Cersei he knew would aid them because of that...
He knew Cersei and he should have known she wouldn't give a shîit even if the entire North was wiped out...

The entire dûmb plan was only written to hand the Night King a dragon on a platter.

You probably saw a different S7 or maybe you've forgotten about it because it was like the best penultimate season in Tv history, set up things beautifully for the final season. So many lose ends were tied and to crown it, The Night King riding a "blue eyed, Zombified" Viserion, and using it to break than "The Wall", and the season immediately ending, might the greatest cliff hanger ever.

The least rated episode of the season was 8.5/10 on IMDB. S7 was anything but trash!.

BTW. Bar that gutter quality last season, GOT was really that "SHOW"! fr. In all ramifications, i haven't seen show quite like it, and the fact that studios be out here, really trying to replicate just it since, just to have thier own "GOT" speaks massive decibels 😩

But GOT's quality and reputation was legendary. It's literally one of the biggest if not the biggest show ever.

Everyone was watching Game of Thrones. The only show that in my class in University that year everyone was watching at once in class...it was crazy...

If new episode dropped...just go to class...you'll see many people who have the episode already dey watch and discuss

The first scene had a lot of Amateur acting...but the very next scene - the genocide of the air normads is very well done.

Critics give their opinion just like everyone else. I don't know what you mean by interesting on DC movies.

Most superhero movies aren't interesting neither do they have good writing. Even Marvel at its peak didn't even have consistent writing.

What they offer is spectacle and fun.

I don't know why you didn't enjoy AOT...maybe it's as they say, different media is for different people. For me it remains the best show I've ever watched.

It seems you prefer action over story...it's your preference I guess...
Probably why you didn't like AOT...despite having some action, what makes AOT special is the story, plot twists and character writing...not it's action.
AOT goes many episodes sometimes without any action.

I am not sure that writer guy watches all the movies and series he reviews.
the guy sometimes reviews nothing less than 10 movies and series in a week.
What is baffling me is that three new series might come out today with each series having more than 8 episodes each.
Before the end of tomorrow, the writer guy will give reviews of all three series which means he is telling us he he watched more than 25 episodes of series in 24 hours.

Sometimes i am like how did this guy watch all these all together.

Reviewers watch the shows days or weeks before it's release date. But they cannot upload their reviews because they sign a contract called a review embargo.

The review embargo most times expire on the date the show/movie is released. That's why you'll notice all the reviewers will suddenly drop their reviews at the same time because they've all seen the show days ago and written their reviews since

On the new avatar series, it still baffles me that in this days and time, people still go online to read reviews on series and then allow these reviews influence your taste of series or movies.

Immediately i stopped reading reviews Last year, i have enjoyed watching series or movies the more.

When you watch a series or movie with an open mind, you tend to enjoy it the more and be more entertained.

Fuuuk reviews, download this shiit and watch for yourself.
The only reviews needed is your own personal review and that's what is most important.

I personally read reviews just to see other intersting viewpoints and who knows I might see something I didn't notice during my watch.

But I don't let reviews cloud or influence my judgment.


For Avatar: The Last Airbender, the first season of the source cartoon was pretty weak anyway...so expecting the live action to somehow be epic when adapting the weakest part of the story is well...
The adaptation just needs to be good enough to keep viewers interested in a second season.

Season 2 of ATLA is the best season imo...that is where we will truly know how good the adaptation is...
But I will still drop thoughts when I watch this adaptation sha

It's majorly because their TV shows are geared towards a broader audience and families that's why it's gotta be toned down. Nudity is very visible in many of their movies.

Thirst, The Handmaiden, Oldboy, Obsessed, The Concubine etc has copious nudity.

I noticed Asians are not so restrictive in nudity or look at it as some sort of taboo like Westerners. Japanese are very vocal about their nudity as well as Koreans. Early Chinese (Hong Kong) movies had some level of explicit nudity too. Except on Indian cinema which I see as the oddball amongst them in east Asia.

I still remember that scene from The Concubine with that lady with very firm tîts that was banging the king while others were watching and instructing

There are tons of nude and sèx scenes in many Korean movies...
I've seen many very explicit sèx scenes in Korean movies...they've been doing that for ages...e.g Frozen Flower, The Handmaiden, The Housemaid etc


The reason most Korean dramas don't show it is because they air on Korean TV and everything has to be made safe for kids viewing...

A Killer Paradox and other Korean shows made exclusively for streaming don't have to censor anything. They can show whatever they like the same as Korean movies...

I've seen Mr Sunshine. It was set during same period with Korean freedom fighters'...


Most of these movies/series always seem to end with these many of these fighters dying for their country...

Once you see a Korean movie/show set during this period...it's literally the safest bet...

Even before watching you can guarantee it's a good film already

I downloaded several Korean movies yesterday...and I have several more on my list

Korea is not like Hollywood where you'll be worried about disappointment...
