I enjoyed the scene of Frank inside the truck tracking and chasing Huisoo's dad. Best shot IMO

Thank God I saw the other ones last night.

one of the best shows I've seen this year tbh...

Especially how they tied everything together despite the constant changes and mixes of genre

He had to ensure that more punches didn't connect, cos the few that did, body tell am.

But the blood manipulation in JJK has a lot of science behind it...

What's surprising is that the narrator said Choso doesn't know hand to hand combat abi close close quarters combat yet he wanted to end Itadori.

the narrator said that Choso didn't have much combat experience...

But tbh same as Yuji

I think Choso had been a curse for many years but wasn't in this form for that long and hasn't fought many battles in this form

But it was enough to wipe Itadori Yuji

Saw Jujustu Kaisen early hours of this morning. I nor even understand wetin I dey watch, cos that beating was profound. Omo, the collecting is not for the faint hearted.

The only reason it's not 10/10 is cos I didn't like how some things at the end were concluded. Why some of these students even returned to the school for graduation after what they faced that night...

And the conclusion of the North Korean part too...

But just when I thought they would conclude things in this season and leave many questions and parts unconcluded, they did well to set up a second season.

I think the U.S will be more involved in season 2...
They seem to be brewing up an army that is probably even stronger than North and South Korea.

Plus it was shown that the project by South Korea was sanctioned from some people higher up in their government. Clearly, they'll continue the project especially since other nations like U.S are doing theirs.

One reoccurring theme in this show is about parents trying to protect their children. It's similar to the children of the forest theme with parents ready to sacrifice themselves so their kids can live normal lives away from all these...

They chose not to pass on these issues, but protect their kids from it


Another thing that this show does well is connecting events and characters. Everything is first given in crumbs before they are filled in later

The rating is off the chart. The way they tied the whole story together was amazing. The show is a super all-rounder. 20 freaking good episodes.

The Fall of the House Usher

Breathtaking isn't enough to describe this series. I'm someone who detest shows which all episodes are releases at once, I prefer one episode/week cos I usually get tired especially when some of the episodes are not that interesting and to kick start again is always an issue except there isn't any other show to watch before I return but

The Fall of the House of Usher had me hooked. Started it last night, I was almost having spasm cos my body wanted me to sleep but I was refusing, to be obey eventually. Started it this morning amidst other things just finished it right now.

If there was a way a series should be made, this is the way in my opinion. There were so many screenshot worthy statements/lines that really hit home. I have never rewatched any series apart from AOT but if I wanted to choose, I'd choose this show, its that engaging for me.

The theme of the show is so wonderfully set in how where does facts/logic end and where does spiritually and the supernatural begins or should I say where does both merge or meet.

So many things were blended into this show to make it effortlessly one of my top shows this year, eg hollow earth theory, consumerism, the supernatural/spiritual, consequences, perhaps a peak into the lives of the extremely wealthy cos some larger than life families had their names called in this show from the Gettys to Rockefeller.

Omo this show burst my brain abeg.

Every character played their role expertly, I was initially against Froderick character but by the time his part was concluded I understood why he was the way he was.

I'm not someone to give long eulogy about shows but damn, this show was well made.

Rating: 10/10.

Personally I think it's not gonna be easy.

Puss in Boots is a cat so Titans won't attack him. But for the sake of this comparison, let's say Titans attack him...

Puss in Boots doesn't have the equipment to take down a Titan. He doesn't know the weak spot so they'll just heal no matter what he does.

His sword is a fencing sword that cannot penetrate a Titans nape. Normal swords and even the axe Sasha used couldn't even penetrate the nape of a small Titan in S2. That's why the sword used with the ODM gear is far sharper, thinner and more durable and still requires movement at high speed to generate enough power to not just Pierce but to cut through the nape...

Also the fact that Titans are fast enough to catch soldiers swinging fast on ODM gear. Eren got his limbs bitten out by a Titan despite moving at fast speed...

Puss in Boots did win a giant in the last movie but even that giant couldn't heal and he literally beat it with a bell...

I think Puss in Boots loses to an ordinary titan 7/10 times

I didnt know what to expect when I started it, when the CIA came and started talking about getting kinikan, the script was just too cliche.

At least change it up a little, I just exited it and dont think I will be going back.

Disappointed.

they didn't even put any effort into the script at all...
Even an AI would have written a better script


Just go in to watch Jason Statham kick some àss...

Just going to drop this quick measure for reference cos, apparently, different opinions are flying.

If you thought Expendables 3 was bad or not that good, Expend4bles makes it look like a masterpiece in comparison.

They had some guts releasing that movie in a cinema. It should've gone straight to DVD. And then those DVDs should've been distributed for free.

Statham is really a stand-up guy, cos at his level, I for done leave that movie set dey go house halfway through shooting.

TLDR: Go into Expend4bles expecting it to be terrible. With expectations that low, you might actually be entertained.

I'm not sure anyone went into The Expendables 4 expecting something other than a generic action movie.

Most of the cast were bad and had terrible amateur acting. Some looked clueless the entire movie

The entire plot and mission was nonsensical...the writers didn't even bother to write up a compelling threat...they would just spew random nonsense and end it with something like "if he's not stopped, a lot of people will die"


However Jason Statham did enough to carry the movie to a 5-5.5/10 in my opinion...

Without the performance of Jason Statham, the movie is easily a 1/10...

The so called plot twist abi reveal sef at the end was something everyone could see a mile away...

Nah, season 2 trumps season1. the creators really did their homework.

I paused at episode 4 of season 2...so I can't really tell...

However there were some writing issues in those episodes that were glaring

I enjoyed season 1...

I should started season 2 but it was a mixed bag...has some writing issues...

Feels like they also changed writers/directors along with the cast...

But I'm waiting for the season 2 to end to binge the rest of the season

I highly recommend it

The show is a good mix of different genres...
And it seems to be divided into different segments...

The first segment focused more on highschoolers and family relationships and people dealing with powers in their day to day life...

I'm currently on the second segment which is a full spy thriller...

the acting was mediocre but Jason Statham delivered.

The others were like cosplayers or YouTubers pretending to be mercenaries

I basically watched it expecting a generic action movie...and it was as expected...

Jason Statham carried massively, his back must be paining...

It was obvious Sylvester Stallone couldn't do much cos of his age.

Dolph Lundgren was also finished due to age. He could barely move, he was literally moving and shooting on life support.

50 cent was decent.

The female cast were all terrible. Not just them, there was a lot of mediocre acting in this movie.

Overall a decent movie...not completely bad cos Jason Statham saved it...
Not good either...

And I expected the twist at the end, cos they were probably hoping for a part 5

Expendables used to be about seeing a bunch of 80's action movie stars at the end of their careers kicking some bûtt...
But these guys are now completely old that they can't even make any decent stunt anymore

Overall, it's clear the franchise has overstayed it's welcome and no old 80's action movie star to carry it anymore
