That Barbie is a foolish movie, I just don't get the message. The color was so stressing my life. Why not teach ladies to be strong, understanding their weaknesses and taking chances at opportunities while mitigating threats. They want equal rights but don't want to work equally. You see as men Tinubu, Peter Obi and Atiku be fighting for post but they would want leverage if they were in the picture. I believe in equity not equality, man can never be equal, never but we can be fair to all. Shout out to responsible women working twice as hard for recognition, may light shine on our work.

Even if you add the OVAs which are not compulsory to watch...but advisable (there are like 5 OVA episodes)...it's still nowhere near the length of One Piece

Also, this teaser used some dialogue that is not in the manga.

It's in japanese but when translated, Eren says:

"It's as you said Armin, I'm a slave to Freedom"

This is already controversial. Some fans like this dialogue as it seems more like an inner acceptance by Eren of what he has become.
Some fans hate it cos they believe it's cringe and literally spells out the message which removes some nuance from the writing

Personally I don't know if it will actually be in the anime...or trailer only. But I think they added this because they felt they had to spell out some of the messages of AOT because a good number of fans do not seem to understand the final chapters and all its messages...

It will be quite sad if a show has to spell out it's messages just because the source material overestimated the media literacy of some of its fans.

While there are some parts that need to be explained further or made clearer since they could lead to multiple different interpretations, over explaining things would lead to loss of some nuance in it's writing


This is why I don't engage in arguments with Titanfolk members of Reddit because most don't seem to even understand anything.

Did you see the piece last week about small PR companies influencing critics ratings for as low as 50 bucks?.

Point is, both side of the divide have thier issues as there are too many factors affecting these decisions, some might be silly agendas, some might be that the show is actually good or bad and others might be monetary as shown by the article yesterday.


I always reference "Hillbilly Elegy" (2020) as an example, i don't know if you've seen the movie, Critics bash the movie because of one tiny insignificant detail, that truly didn't interfere with the narrative the movie was trying to tell. When i finally saw it, it was a mighty fine movie with a bonus of been scored by the legendary Hans Zimmer!. Now i would have missed out on it because of crack heads professional critics with silly agenda that seems insincere on paper.


More often than not, I have also seen very poor movies rated highly by professional critics, case in point, just go with your guts and let these reviews whether professional or not, be a "little pointer" rather than an actual guide because you would miss out on alot if you pay serious mind to either.

for me I still rate audiences more...

But I check the actual reviews. Reviewbombers don't have time to actually type something tangible. Most don't even bother...that's why a show will have thousands of 1 star rating but 0 bad review that is written

Latest Bleach episode had a review like: "Terrible episode, bankai is poor"

You can tell from that comment that the person didn't watch the episode and he also has no idea what Bleach is about. He doesn't even know what Bankai is or the fact that no bankai was actually used in that episode

The show is great but their fans hype it up to the heavens like it's the best thing after the discovery of sliced bread.
AOT fans also has weirdos that do the same shit downvoting other shows. Tit for tat as all things should be balanced. I see no issues there.

Another prime reason why I don't take audience ratings seriously at all. Bunch of clowns rates shit anyhow they feel without professional touch or experience.
Person wey dey take audience scores seriously, na him self he dey whine. (It's basically just a metric to test how much audiences enjoyed a program... nothing else). It doesn't usually reflect the quality of the project.

Only audience score I take with some level of seriousness and authenticity is CINEMASCORE. Especially as it's the direct ratings from people actually coming out from a cinema screen. Direct from the source. No manipulations. You know how the viewer feel about a movie as soon as he's done watching.

So, critics scores and opinions will remain GOATED and the key reference point.

AOT fans are wild Sha....
Majority of the fandom only fight themselves and don't care much about ratings...
It's mostly an in-fandom war

While One Piece fans like to compare. It's always posts like: "Gear 5 is more iconic than Ultra Instinct" "Luffy's freedom >>> Eren's freedom...." Blablabla


Guy...critic scores are also untrustworthy. The Rotten tomatoes scandal is one where critics were bought. Look at IGN that also criticized One Piece live action for being faithful to the source material...wtf...and they said the Cowboy Bebop live action was better...wtf

Critics are just as bad bro...I've seen critics criticize a show for not being woke enough

Just checked now, and "Midnight sun" and "That Day" has both dropped to 9.8 and below top 10...like wtf? People are really that jobless?

Anyway, they can't deter peak, every sane person knows AOT is top shelf quality. The plot has way deeper meaning and psychology, that you might be randomly talking about the events on it, and people that are hearing it for the first time, would think it is not an animated show, i dare say, it beats many conventional shows in writing... People will visit it for years to come, long after it has ended.

They are not even hating enough cuz it doesn't seem to affect the metrics on IMDB, as the episode ratings are still very high on IMDB and ranks among the highest on the platform.

My own own is they shouldn't shift November 4th oo, i hate that it is ending 😔 but excited at the same time to see it end 😀.
