misransome: But she's right, she's a Canadian Citizen and cannot be deported.
If she committed a crime she can be reported there but it will be hard to identify any crime she has committed against Canada from the Twitter video she made. It's just tricky I hope she was born in Canada.. If she was not, I pray her path to citizenship was legit.. otherwise, her village people will reopen her case and her citizenship could be revoked |

DeLaRue: The 'beach' is the land immediately adjourning the ocean. That belongs to the Federal government.
Landmark building is what Landmark owns, and that was not destroyed in any way.
If you build a swimming pool on the beach that belongs to federal government (like Landmark did) and the federal government needs its land to build a public infrastructure, what do you expect the federal government to do.
The claim in this article that federal government destroyed Landmark's business is clearly untrue. The Landmark building and business is still there.
If the government destroyed Landmark's lawful business, the man would have gone to court. But he hasn't because he can't because he will lose. So are you saying that landmark beach never had a permit from the government for the construction?? And the government was quiet all the time landmark were constructing their infrastructures? |
Sports › Re: Osimhen Farther In Limbo As Lukaku Joins Napoli by Badgers14: 2:53pm On Aug 25, 2024 |
uniquetechng: His contract can be terminated with compensation, clause for termination is always part of such contracts. No top player want to sit out a whole season that's why Kylian Mbappe lowered his ego after he was banned and banished from the first team by PSG because he knew sitting out entire season would have affected his move to Real Madrid. Football is a game of form and as a top athlete you have to be in top form to attract offers, the reason no top club wants to gamble with paying that much money for Osimhen is simply because his form dipped last season.
Like I said Osimhen will suffer more because he is young and just hitting peak form, such situation only benefits players who are 30 years and above. Clubs can't just terminate a contract because they can. Yes, they can terminate a contract for cause. That's why if you notice throughout this saga.. Osihmen is not online blabbing.. he still shows up for training , team meetings and engagements.. Whether the coach plays him or not is beyond his control.. so as long as he keep doing what he is doing.. laying low.. Napoli will sending the Raba his way. I still think Napoli would suffer more.. they got greedy.. placed a high price tag on him and Osihmen was smart to negotiate a high wage.. From what I deduce.. Napoli wanted to offload him after that contract but they had a bad season and Osihmen was OK OK last season.. then the racist issue and his national team burst up.. the deal come choke Napoli.. In retrospect, they might be biting their fingers, if they had known.. they would have offloaded him right after the seria A win.. but they gambled |
Sports › Re: Osimhen Farther In Limbo As Lukaku Joins Napoli by Badgers14: 2:49pm On Aug 25, 2024 |
Godfullsam: Just listen to yourself
Yours is just nothing but the money. You think Napoli will pay him 254k forever? Like you rightly said, his contract expires in 2 yrs time, what happens after he is out of contract with Napoli? You think it is all players or everyone that is good in managing business?
Dude is full of pride and ego and someone need to speak to him in the language he will understand.
For your information, all the money you read on papers doesn't go to the players alone. Although they get the lion share and your club can decide to terminate your contract if you breach the contract agreement.
A common loan spell at Chelsea, dude is demanding for 500k, no player in the history of Chelsea since it's creation has ever been paid such a crazy amount. Him coming to Chelsea is even a gamble because he may flop. Premier League no be anybody mate o. You need to take your own advice. What I stated was my opinion, there's no need for you to get the conversation sideways.. Everyone is motivated by different things.. when Oscar left Chelsea to go to China even before hitting his football prime.. many people criticized him but he said, he wants to make more money to take care of his family.. who title epp?? If you read between the lines, if indeed Osihmen is requesting a 500k wage for a loan spell at Chelsea.. he might not be interested in the move. He just used the high wage to scare them away.. so it's not like he didn't want to negotiate , he is at the table to negotiate but with ridiculous demand.. because he knows Napoli would still pay him his 254k even if he is on the bench. In this day and age, common sense would have told him to invest invest invest because even if he is the lone striker at Real Madrid.. Injury could cut ones career short. Keep in mind every one is motivated by different things.. Osihmen might even be tired of playing football sef.. after winning the Serie A, MVP, African best player of the year.. he might feel that that's a career well spent and his issue with Findi at the national team.. I don't think he would care if he didn't get any national team invite in the future There's this player, I can't think of his name that said he didn't even like playing football.. dude retired early as well.. so it's not every player that want to play like Pepe at 41. |

uniquetechng: His market value would also be affected, either way Victor has more to lose than Napoli. Once he is banished to train with the reserve team his market value will nosedive. Whether he is training with U17s, Napoli would still pay him his 254k per week. His situation affects both parties but affects Napoli more than Osihmen.. His contract with Napoli is till 2026.. according to him, he is 25yrs this year, so 2026 he would be 27yrs and towards the end of his playing career. After pocketing millions in wages.. so if he plans his life well, he could just sidon for Napoli.. collect his wages and retire after his contract expires to focus on his personal business/investments. |

winterfell007: Victor's biggest mistake was to sign that contract renewal It depends on how you look at it. He earns £ 254k per week.. so Napoli is stuck with his wage bill.. he could just decide to be Phil Jones at Manutd.. just siddon dey look and still get paid.. |

floshady02: @Badgers14 it’s 515.6 Sqm. Roofing sheet is calculated by the amount of the structure’s square meters. So for example, shingles roofing sheet is 6,700 per sqm times 515.6 sqm. That will be the cost of your roofing sheet. Then workmanship for the roofing sheet installer. Maybe I used the wrong term. What I meant was, is the roofing sheet 0.45, 0.50 , 0.55 or ? Thanks |

LinoBawse: Good morning my Nairaland people,
So I have an issue, it’s kinda unrelated to this thread but I believe I’ll get assistance here
After staying 2 years in an apartment, my rent expired exactly August 1st, 2024 and after expiry landlord reached out for his money and I politely told him I’ll be moving out and I need some time to secure a new place before parking my load out of his house, he then asked for how much time, I told him maximum by middle of September (next month) I should have gotten a new space. This man then told him I’ll have to pay him for 2 months that is august and September and I’m like how possible? I just told you I need some time to move my loads and you are asking me to pay? Okay I didn’t want to argue so I should stopped the conversation and left politely.
So my question now is, what should I do in this case?
Please bear in mind that when I got this apartment, he collected legal fees and I was never given any agreement form to sign.
I honestly don’t want to pay him any dime. What can I do? How best can I approach this.
Thanks, I look forward to reading from you all.
Regards. I don't mean to be funny but you didn't even sign any agreement with him and you are puffing out your chest?? You are lucky, infact after paying the 2 months rent.. buy a wine or a ram for the landlord because he was being nice. He could have just threw you out overnight or locked the doors when you are at work.. your legal standing regarding the possession of the apartment is questionable. Note to all, whenever you are renting or doing anything like this.. please do have a rental agreement in place.. not just rental agreement.. make sure you read and understand what is inside and ask questions if you have any. |

LegendHero: so why have they not sent this much money all their life? Why during Cardoso?
Do you even know the process IMTO use? Go back and read that the image I attached to the thread and you’ll see the reason for the increase there. What is the dollar to naira rate during Emiefele's tenure?? During Soludo's tenure?? Compare that to the exchange rate currently with Cardoso. What is the cost of bag of rice in 2024, compare that to the cost of bag of rice in 2014. Let's bring this closer a bit.. the cost of cement in 2019-2020 was N2,800 - N3,200. The cost of cement in 2023 - 2024 was as low as N5800 in September 2023 to as high as N12,000 in February/ march of 2024. |

Let Reno tell us if any other currency is used to transact business in the U.S other than the U S dollar.. then why does some companies do business in Nigeria in foreign currency?? Reno, come and tell us if people in the U.S have domiciliary accounts? If they want to send money abroad, do they go and buy the foreign currency to deposit in the bank or do they just walk into their bank to effect the transfer. Why then do we do that in Nigeria? |
