Oh wow, okay I'll pass across this information to him. Thanks alot Anon123, so let's say like by December he can start applying for a PGD, and also does he need to apply for a new permit from within Canada or just get admission for PGD and he's good to go? Anon123: Okay.. If you wish to stay back, you will need to apply for another program. make sure its pgd. Apply 8-6months to the end of the present diploma program. You have an advantage if you are in Canada while doing this |

Congratulations It has ended in praise!!!!!!!! NwanyiOkpa: It has finally ended in praise for me. God bless Frankrobbn, Justmellow, and the many others that have been giving me hope and answering all my plenty of questions. Note that I used an agent or my application because i was too busy with work to continually study the tips on this thread and apply them. I am a second-time applicant.
Timeline: January 20th: Medical done January 27th: Application submitted with all NSE requirements- Sponsor's 1-year Mybankstatement of about 11million, IELTS result with 7.5 band, and Medical result. February 20th February 26th: Second ghost update March 4th: Third ghost update March 9th: Fourth ghost update May 4th: PPR and correspondence letter
Reason for the first refusal: They said that my finance wasn't sufficient even after i submitted an account statement of 12million and paid my first-semester tuition.
How i tackled the refusal: I paid the full tuition for the first year, provided the sponsor's account statement of 11million and i also made a notarised affidavit of sponsorship signed by my sponsor. I did not use a notarised affidavit of sponsorship in my first application but i used an affidavit from the high court. A friend advised me to use a notary lawyer for my affidavit and so far, everyone that i know that used a notary lawyer was approved. Notarised documents are recognized worldwide.
Documents submitted: All IMM forms Tuition payment receipt CAD$21,000 notarised affidavit of sponsorship notarised affidavit of good behavior police report IELTS result medical slip letter of explanation passport photograph data page of passport sponsor's birth certificate (sponsor is my brother) CAC document for my business Employment letter Recommendation letter
NOTE: I used an agent for my application. There are a few agents that knows what they are doing. My agent did not hold back my login details like other complained about.
I got admitted into about 7 schools in the USA also but I decided to go to Canada for reasons best known to me.
God wey do am for me go do am for una.
I am so excited. As i dey type sef, my fingers dey shake. Immediately i logged in and saw that my application has been updated i was like; "these people with their ghost updates again" before i clicked on the application and saw my correspondence letter and PPR. I immediately ran and woke my dad from sleep to break the good news to him. He has always been supportive. |

Mine started the same day I submitted my application, I think it's normal Pinkey2021: Yes it’s normal. Mine also started immediately, less than 24hrs after I applied. And I also received an email saying status updated.
I’m guessing there’s a lot of background check to be done so they’re starting earlier to avoid delays. Who knows.
But it’s perfectly normal. There’s someone else her too whose background check also started almost immediately after application.
{It’ll Surely End In Praise for us All} |

Thanks Anon123, also can I submit 2 my bank statement certificate from the same bank; like a Salary Account and a Savings Account of the same bank, cause bulk of the money has been saved over time in the savings account? Anon123: If your sponsors bank dont have the MBS, tell your sponsor to print a 6months bank statement or a year statement. Attach a letter to explain why you can't provide the MBS for the account. |

I also have a Coop for my course, attach that letter that states it in the upload space for evidence of work when uploading ur documents...... Note: you must have chosen the option that your studies comes with work when answering questions about your application on the IRCC website Or better still ask your school for a separate coop letter if possible Mmachisco: Thank you so much. A separate letter wasn't issued but it was stated in the acceptance letter. |

I think this means showing a bank statement of 1 year and enough money for studies that lasts at least 6 months which is mostly 2 semesters Legacyedition: I no be English student, infact I no sabi write well well.
But make dissect this statement again.
"Showing sufficient fund for your studies for atleast 6 months" and 12 months of banking history. @ Uzomachukwu speaks Queen's English. |
