Youngadvocate: Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, has taken a swipe at the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, calling him a mad man.
Rochas Okorocha said this during an interview with the Sun news where he also stated that he would support president Muhammadu Buhari should the President contest in the 2019 Presidential election.
“These young men seeking relevance as a livelihood and to tell you how daft some people can be, any mad man can just rise one day and lead a senseless agitation and he’d get followers.
“Even the way IPOB was handled by the government wasn’t right. I kept telling the government that this young man, Kanu Nnamdi, is inconsequential in the matter- treat him like who he really is.
“But now he’d been given some national attention branding the whole Igbo as IPOB members and it’s the reason for the quit notice some gave our people in the North. The matter is laughable. You cannot imagine me, Rochas being asked by IPOB that let’s go to war and I follow.
“That’s the greatest insult to people of the east. Even if you come today and start a church you name ‘Kill Every Human Being Church’, some people will still join you. There are always people for everything you do. I would have handled it differently.”

celebsnes: Two teenage boys met their untimely death on Tuesday at Ntotroso, a mining community in the Asutifi North District of the Brong Ahafo Region while doing the popular ‘One Corner’ dance on a motorbike.
According to Ghana News Agency, the deceased were identified as Kwabena Fante, 17 and Nyarko Abronoma, 15.
They were said to be riding on a motorbike and at the same time dancing to the popular ‘One Corner’ tune when they collided with another person and crashed into a structure.
Their bodies have since been deposited at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital at Hwidiem.
The third teenager on the motorbike with the deceased, 17-year-old Collins Krukyi survived the accident and is in a critical condition at the same hospital in the Asutifi South District.
Unconfirmed reports said the three youngsters had gone on a drinking spree and were riding the motorbike without crash helmets on, except the survivor.
An eyewitness who spoke to GNA, explained that the motor rider was speeding in a sharp-curve when the accident occurred.
He added that because of the moves the victims were displaying on the motorbike with the ‘One Corner’ dance, they attracted public caution but they defied all warnings.

Nollyzonenews: The younger brother of late Tagbo Umeike has confirmed that singer Davido was indeed absent at his brother’s funeral in Anambra state yesterday.
The young man identified as Chigbo Umeike told Punch NG that his brother was buried yesterday in the absence of Davido and his representatives.
He also used the opportunity to debunk the notion that their mother had stroke due to Tagbo’s demise.
His words:
“My brother was buried on Friday and it is so sad that we have lost someone with a big heart. However, Davido was not present at the burial neither did he send a representative but at this point, we have no comment on that.”

According to Eze King Fortune, the suspect who is a Yoruba man stormed the home of an Igbo man to collect about 3000 Reais (1000 dollars i.e over N360,000) he was being owed. But he couldn't find his debtor at home because he reportedly went to pick up his kids from school.
Rather than wait for him, the man allegedly shot his debtor's wife three times - killing her instantly.
The suspect was beaten and also apprehended by fellow Nigerians and residents before authorities arrived the scene.

2. Effective from 20 October 2017 and until further directive, The Exchange should implement a technical suspension in the shares of Oando Plc.
A full suspension is the halt of trading activities in a listed security for a period. A technical suspension is the interruption of price movement in a listed security for a period so that any dealings in the securities which occur during the period of the suspension will not result in any change in price, which change may have occurred had the suspension not been implemented.
In the 48 hour period commencing today, there will be no trading in the shares of Oando Plc. Thereafter, effective 20 October 2017, investors will be able to trade in Oando Plc’s shares but such trading will not result in any movement in the price of the shares.
