guente02: @Bahddo Got an email to build out a fullstack app already within two weeks. I use to think this would happen during the bootcamp. What then are we to expect when the Bootcamp starts proper? let's get it straight. Were you told that you should build the full app in two weeks? Or is it a case of "you are going to build a full stack app, but for this week do this first?" I don't think anyone would ask you to build a full stack app in two weeks. |

Many Africans just have a backward mentality sha. Always blaming others for their failure, from leaders to the common man on the street. We never take responsibility for failure.
Argentina did not rob us. We had all the opportunity to win that game, but we kept firing blanks and waiting to be gifted penalties. Even if we had beaten Argentina, we wouldn't have gotten past France.
Just like in the Nigerian match, the better team (France) won. End of story. |

None of you knew Germany was going to crash out or that Morocco was going to put two past Spain. Lol. Everyone expects France to beat Argentina. This looks like a great match to bet on Argentina. The majority think they understand the forces behind football.
This world cup that is on drugs so. Who would have thought mighty Germany would still crash out after their comeback in their second game? Who expected South Korea to put two past Germany unreplied? Who expected Sweden to top the table that has Mexico and Germany? |
Sports › Re: Over 18,000 Angry Nigerians Storm IG Page Of 'nigeria Vs Argentina' Referee by Bahddo(m): 2:59pm On Jun 27, 2018 |
Nigerians... We didn't lose because of the ref. We lost because we were overconfident and thought we would easily beat Argentina or at worst get a draw.
For example, after the Iceland game Musa was boasting that he always scores a brace when he meets Messi's team, and that he even did it with Leicester against Barcelona.
Noise don't win games. If you play for a draw from the beginning of the game, there is a high chance you would concede goals and lose. |

exactly what I'm saying... Missed 20. The difference is 4 misses in their whole careers, and this is like the only thing in which Ronaldo has a better ratio.
The summary is Ronaldo is only better at penalties, but even at that he misses almost as much Messi. In goal ratios and mins per assist and chances created and free kick ratios, he is behind Messi. |

you should have included Ronaldo's penalty stats too. He has missed 20 penalties, including 6 for portugal.
The one area where Ronaldo has an edge (penalty ratio), it turns out he has also missed a lot. |

LordAdamX: And you think this excuse of a reply is HOT?
Dude get off your meds. CR7 already has 4 goals that got Portugal 4 points. Messi has nada goals yet. Ronaldo stepped up twice, Messi failed twice. Ronaldo missing a penalty does not erase that fact; which is why the world has not gone ballistic.
-Lord lol. It was just Messi's first game when he missed the penalty. So the failing twice is a ridiculous answer. The only area in which Ronaldo is able to compete with Messi (scoring goals especially penalties), and he isn't even as good as you'd like every one to think. If Spain didn't just concede two goals against Morocco in a draw - Morocco that everyone else in the group beat without conceding we might all have been tricked into believing that Spain has an organised defense. I'm also amused at how all of you now making noise were painfully silent in 2014 until after Germany narrowly won. Come back when Ronaldo is able to inspire his team into the world cup semis. |

LordAdamX: And since when did it go against the rule of the game to draw a penalty?
If he is drawing pens and scoring most of them; why is it bothering you guys?
If he draws pen and scores, problem.
If he draws pen and misses, problem. What exactly do you want?
-Lord just so you know, he also is called Divenaldo. The reason why he is called that answers your first question. The other questions don't make any sense. You are the one that brought up the Penaldo nickname, and I explained how he got nicknamed thus. |

LordAdamX: How would anyone who doesn't watch football imagine that Ronaldo has never missed a penalty and that Messi never scored a penalty?
Yea, 5 goals against Panama and Tunisia. Ronaldo's 4 goals were against Spain and Morocco.
Clearly, you are as awful as the CR7 fans you want to criticize.
Well, you can continue, because if Messi doesn't score tomorrow you don't expect the same people you're trolling now not to say anything. Messi fans made trolling CR7 fashionable. You guys should develop thick skin and stop throwing fits because Messi was the subject of trolling.
-Lord *another yawn* you are boring dude. The fact is, the world would have gone ballistic if it was Messi that missed this penalty and escaped with a yellow card for elbowing another player. We all know who the better footballer is, and everyone expects more from him all the time. |
Sports › Re: Iran Vs Portugal: World Cup (1 - 1) - Final by Bahddo(m): 10:49pm On Jun 25, 2018 |
LordAdamX: Who said Ronaldo never misses?
And how are Ronaldo fans silent? Ronaldo shouldn't have missed the penalty. It was a penalty that relied on the GK going the wrong way rather than beating the GK even if he went the right way. By his standards, it's a poor penalty.
But I'd rather have Ronaldo play a penalty in a crucial game than Messi. It's as simple as that. There's a reason why Messi fans mocked him as Penaldo; and CR7 fans christened Messi as Missi.
-Lord Ronaldo is called Penaldo because he has a hunger for penalties which make up a significant portion of his goal tally. He doesn't mind diving to get penalties. He isn't called Penaldo because he doesn't miss them. Clearly, 'Missi' isn't a fitting name for Messi, given that if they both take the same number of shots, Messi is more likely to score. He has a better goal ratio, and even with free kicks. |
