anything that forces your brain to realize you are awake would make it switch from the simulated reality it creates (that's why some may also feel they are in a body different from their real bodies), back to the waking reality which uses input from your sense organs. Self-learning Clinic is the first day, and it's usually a Friday. You'd have 3 days of home-sessions afterways and then bootcamp starts proper with a day onsite collaboration before some are selected to return for week 2.

Let me handle ur first paragraph, some of those pple have mental issues and substance abuse. There are hostels located around city centres for them to sleep, in cold weathers the staffs will take a mini bus to the streets and beg those pple to come to the hostel and sleep.

But because they are not a danger to others , the government can't bundle them to a psychiatric unit.

2nd paragraph, none of my relatives are in that condition I described. But thousands of pple are, and I feel for them not because I know them but they are humans like u and I.

There is a parable in my place that says, the chickens never look happy wen birds are being roasted. But it's different now, on this same forum yesterday, there was a picture of a baby lying on the ground, some thot he/she was sleeping others thot dead, there were over 50 pple there, nothing was done by any one of them they just took pictures and made videos. Ppl dont know first aid at all or how to find signs of life in a person, they just assume that once u hit the floor u r dead. That is why u hear stories of ppl rising from the dead so much in third world countries like nigeria. Somebody fainted and they assume the person is dead and take the corpse to church for prayers, if the person now wakes up from his unconsciousness they will start celebrating that they brought someone back to life.
