MRAKBEE:Revolution for where? For Nigeria? You must just be joking, with the tribalism in the land, the youths cannot be united for one just cause. We are too divided to cause a revolution. With the way each ethnic group supports their own tribesmen even if they are guilty of a crime. The politicians have made people so poor that, if you try any uprising, they will send the soldiers to shoot at the crowd and they have so made Nigerians poor that we can't even go 3 days revolting. Many Nigerians survive on daily work or job so how can you revolt when you don't have food to eat the next day. |
A country that uses 80% of its Revenue on the welfare of Politicians, ex-politicians and Government officials cannot grow and impact positively in the lives of its people. A friend once told me these group I mentioned above are the real citizens of Nigeria and that we the masses are just residents and not citizens because since I was born I have not gained one naira from the Government. |
Ghana is actually a very stable country, stable economy with a working Government. The problem of Nigeria is that we use 80% of our revenue on the welfare of politicians and ex politicians. While the 20% is used for infrastructures, debt servicing and part of this 20% is still been embezzled. The future of this country just keeps getting bleaker and bleaker. No matter who we vote in as president among these current crops of politicians we won't experience any change. |
jodeci:Do you think a train is like a bus that stops anyhow and accelerates anyhow. Even in developed countries once a train horns for you and you don't quickly leave the rail line it crushes the person because even if you apply the breaks it takes time to stop. |
Even if she plugged earphone, can't she watch left/right before crossing the rail line. I am tempted to say her Village people have finally gotten her. |
sunsewa16:Even though I had my doubt about him in 2015,i supported him only based on the fact he was the APC candidate. He still hasn't performed up to expectations in 3 years compared to what Fashola was able to achieve in his first term in office. He should bury his pride and bring back the old ways of waste disposal in Lagos. He should reengage the PSP operators because the Vision Scape company cannot cope with the amount of waste in Lagos. They should continue with the door to door waste collection because this idea of dropping bins across Lagos won't work. He should also complete the Blue Light rail is taking too long. So far I haven't seen much he has done. |
Rstella:I have always wondered why they keep recruiting for the same positions every 3 months. If some people don't get sacked people won't get employed. I hear the job is very demanding and one needs to meet their targets. I even heard people resign voluntarily. |
olaideslex:Yes I received such an email in January this year. I thought I was going to join the next batch for training and documentation. But if a new set of batch have Now gotten their offer letter and are to come for documentation, then those of us that got the "Keep in view" email might as well forget about it coz its a way of sending Regret mails to applicants after Medicals. |
legitnow:You are a big Fool, don't you know once you change your name you change your Identity. Changing your first and Last name from Igbo to Yoruba changes your identity from Igbo to Yoruba. All men first belong to one tribe and race of man before having their different tribes. Once you change your full name then you become Yoruba. |
naijaking1:This idiot is still pained by the Yoruba language bill in schools, is it only non-Yorubas that are affected by the increased LUC? Just shut up and stop bringing tribalism into what doesn't warrant one. The new LUC affects every landlord in Lagos whether Yorubas or non-Yorubas and must be resisted so it can be reversed. |
This is a welcome development in all our primary, secondary and higher institutions. We must remind them Lagos might be a Nigerian city but it is still Yoruba land. God bless Lagos Itesiwaju Eko loje wa logun Ti omo igbo koba feran re ko lo ko sodo |
OP how did you come about the number of shopping malls in each state. Let us know or we count this is another IPOB Bureau of Statistics. |
ZombieBuster:You see your life you can't even form one second drop your hate and bigotry for Yorubas. When everyone is symphatizing with the Family of this little boy and hoping for his safe return, you cannot think of any other thing but hate for Yoruba people. Hate and ethnic bigotry has taken over your life, find the nearest church for deliverance of your soul. |
iamabundance:Actually, Arsene Wenger has Surpassed Sir Alex Ferguson an the Longest serving manager. |
MonPro:I got to this thread late but I am surprised nobody was able to reply your comment. Some even gave you likes. Tunde Idiagbon is a Yoruba man who told you he was Fulani? Is it because they said he is from Kwara state? like you don't know Yorubas dominate Kwara. The name itself Tunde is Yoruba also the name "Idiagbon" is Yoruba meaning Bottom of coconut. |
The same Akwa -ibom Governor building a Governor's lodge in Lagos with Billions of Naira is the one wasting money to build a 21 storey building for Exxon Mobil to relocate back without their permission. I can't even make sense out of it. |
yom2:Peace Estate actually, the Fire Service,Journalist and Police came into our estate this morning. Diamond estate and Idowu Egba is also close by |
Just behind my street here, we were awoken by the fire this morning. We commend the Lagos state Fire Service for their quick response to the call. |

Whoever believes this man initiated this move is a big mugu. It was when his case started with CBT(false asset declaration) some investigation Journalist exposed that he was still collecting Pension as a former governor of Kwara state. That was when the Kwara state Govt. decided to stop it. It's not like they don't know it's not right or unlawful. They are only trying to stop other looters from looting more than them that's why he is speaking against it now |
For those of us that have travelled out of this country, such things are not new to us. I have seen Potholes in the UK as well but rare sha. I have seen rough tared roads that can have bad effects on your vehicle in the UK but rare as well. Unlike here in naija it's everywhere |

CROWNWEALTH019:You are so naive and ignorant to believe this man intentionally initiated this move. It was when his case started with CBT(false asset declaration) some investigation Journalist exposed that he was still collecting Pension as a former governor of Kwara state. That was then the Kwara state Govt. decided to stop it. It's not like they don't know it's not right or unlawful. Beautiful room. All white everything. Itesiwaju Eko lo jewa Logun |
Vizzim:Bro congratulations, I need some info from you as I am part of the batch before yours, I have also completed my medicals but didn't resume with my batch so I would like to know when you get your offer letter. Are you on BBM? |
They are only using this news as a camoflauge, it was when Saraki's false asset declaration was exposed, the issue that he was still receiving Pension was also exposed. They are only trying to deceive the public, that doesn't stop him from getting large chunk of Kwara state funds. |
What I don't understand is why Igbos mock others in the MB and SW when they are experiencing the same herdsmen menace in the SE. Who are the Fulani slaves now? |
