kevoh: Are u actually reading posts at all? I am talking of the causes of death of innocent individual, it's actually said he was part of drug related business and he was traced to the church. He is actually the cause of the death of the individual and his alias being a bishop meant he is a religious fella and a Christian, an alfa is also a man that goes to mosque and prays, I have witnessed folds of news on Nairaland with the alfa name and the next thing is always muslim are killers or thereabout. We are trying to find the killers now, but we are not pointing at religion in finding it. Which most of you Christians find joy in deliberately claiming religion instead of crimes |

I pray that the good lord ease the affairs of the families of the bereaved and forgive the innocent souls that was killed unjustly, And May the killers get their punishment and being caught as soon as possible, then this comes to my topic at hand. From the stories it was announced the bishop dude was among the people who where the gang who had issues together that was the causes of the attacks based on business deals but it's so surprising that nobody has ever mentioned 'Christianity' as a religion that kills, we are all either praying for the lost souls and condemning the bishop that was proclaimed being part of the heinous crime. Am going to point out to everyone that The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Umar is actually a muslim and a northerner and his speech was that the killers would be apprehended in few days, he didn't look at religion he simply looked at the people who committed a crime. If only we Nigerians can be in unison like this when crimes are committed against humanity, Maybe we would live a better life and heinous crimes would have being averted before its been committed. Let's put Religion aside in our dealings and whoever committed a crime being Muslim or Christian should be dealt with severely and not religious condemnation Islam And christianity are religions People who commit crimes are human May the good lord continue to guide us in Nigeria and forgive us our known and Unknown sins 1 Like |

Early Life and Education --------------------------- Nnamdi Kanu --------------------- Kanu was born in Isiama Afara, Abia State, Nigeria. His father is HRM Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) and his mother is Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu.[1] He attended Library Avenue Primary School (now part of Government House, Umuahia) and went to Government College Umuahia for his secondary education. He later gained admission to the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) but left after two years. He moved to London and studied Political Economics at London Guildhall University now called London Metropolitan University (LMU). Odumegwu Ojukwu ------------------------ Chukwuemeka "Emeka" Odumegwu-Ojukwu was born on 4 November 1933 at Zungeru in northern Nigeria to Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, an Igbo businessman from Nnewi, Anambra State in south-eastern Nigeria. Emeka Ojukwu started his secondary school education at CMS Grammar School, Lagos aged 10 in 1943.[5] He later transferred to King's College, Lagos in 1944 where he was involved in a controversy leading to his brief imprisonment for humiliating a white British colonial teacher who assaulted a black woman. This event generated widespread coverage in local newspapers. [6] At 13, his father sent him overseas to study in the United Kingdom, first at Epsom College and later at Lincoln College, Oxford University, where he earned a master's degree in History. He returned to colonial Nigeria in 1956.[7] BOTH STUDIED ABROAD -------------------------------------------- Career --------- Nnamdi Kanu ---------------- Occupation Activist, Radio director, Freedom fighter. Odumegwu Ojukwu ------------------ Ojukwu joined the civil service in Eastern Nigeria as an Administrative Officer at Udi, in present-day Enugu State. In 1957, after two years of working with the colonial civil service and seeking to break away from his father's influence over his civil service career,[8] he left and joined the military initially enlisting as a non commissioned officer (NCO) in Zaria.[9][10][11] Ojukwu's decision to enlist as an NCO was forced by his father's (Sir Louis) pulling of political strings with the then Governor-General of Nigeria (John Macpherson) to prevent Emeka from getting an officer-cadetship.[12] Sir Louis and Governor-General Macpherson believed Emeka would not stick to the grueling NCO schedule however Emeka persevered. It wasn't until an embarrassing situation between Emeka and a drill sergeant named Fort-Lamy wherein Emeka corrected the Sergeant's mispronunciation of the safety catch of the Lee-Enfield .303 rifle that the British Depot Commander recommended Emeka for an officer's commission.[12] From Zaria, Emeka proceeded first, to the Royal West African Frontier Force Training School in Teshie, Ghana and next, to Eaton Hall where he received his commission in March 1958 as a 2nd Lieutenant.[13][14][15] He was one of the first and few university graduates to receive an army commission.[16] He later attended Infantry School in Warminster, the Small Arms School in Hythe. Upon completion of further military training he was assigned to the Army's Fifth Battalion in Kaduna.[13] At that time, the Nigerian Military Forces had 250 officers and only 15 were Nigerians. There were 6,400 other ranks, of which 336 were British. After serving in the United Nations’ peacekeeping force in the Congo, under Major General Johnson Thomas Aguiyi-Ironsi, Ojukwu was promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel in 1964 and posted to Kano, where he was in charge of the 5th Battalion of the Nigerian Army. -------------------------------------------------- Result on this, Ojukwu was a plain hustler and got to the top through hard work but Nnamdi kanu has never tasted hustle or tried working after school to understand how it feels to be a man ( No pun intended just the fact) -------------------------------------------- Religion ---------- Nnamdi Kanu ------------------ When in court, Kanu appeared regularly wearing a Jewish prayer shawl and head covering. He said in court that he "believes in Judaism" and considers himself a Jew. Odumegwu Ojukwu ---------------------- Was a known Christian Results from this ------------ A Jew doesn't believe in Jesus or the cruxifix, he believes on only one God and doesn't celebrate Christmas or easter, I hope ibo's who are Christian knows this and are ready for this ( no pun intended, just the fact) ----------------------------------------- Ultimatum to leave Region ------------------------------ Nnamdi Kanu has never given ultimatum for non ibo's to leave the east. Odumegwu ojukwu He formally proclaimed the independent Republic of Biafra on May 30, 1967, during a reception in the regional capital of Enugu. He then built up his army and expelled northerners from Biafra Result of this ----------------- It's a return call from the Arewa youths. ------------------------------- Violence: On 5 September 2015, Nnamdi Kanu was a guest speaker at the World Igbo Congress which was held in Los Angeles, California where he demanded for guns and bullets as the video depicted. Odumegwu ojukwu At one point, he and Nigerian army chief of staff Yakubu Gowon, also in control of the central Nigerian government, appeared to be nearing a compromise that would have allowed the Ibos a measure of autonomy while staying within the Nigerian federation. But Gowon was unwilling to let the eastern region maintain a separate army, and Odumegwu Ojukwu was unsure of the ability of the Nigerian central government to protect the Ibos. Odumegwu Ojukwu reluctantly demanded independence for the easterners. He formally proclaimed the independent Republic of Biafra on May 30, 1967, during a reception in the regional capital of Enugu. At the time, he also hinted that the Nigerian central government had played a role in the genocide of the Ibo people. He then built up his army ------------------------------ Results from this: They are both violent in nature and not remembering that when two elephant fights? I leave the ipod youths to complete that sentence. --------------------------------- Whenever we seek to change the world the first thing we are asked is, “Do you believe in violence?” We are asked this because the violence of the oppressed is seen as morally equivalent to the violence of the oppressors. But the two are not the same. But in this case the ibo's are not oppressed so I see no moral in violence. |

Reunion is when you get up in the morning and tell your wife you going to work, but you instead turned into your neighbors house to make love to her, her husband comes back home and knocks on the door. You go under the bed, the husband sits on the bed and the wife excused herself to go to the market to buy food items, the husband takes advantage of his wife's absence and called your wife, your wife arrives and they make love. Suddenly his wife forgot something and she's back, she knocks on the door. You are still under the bed, your wife rushes to hide under the bed too and there is it REUNION 1 Like |

1. Praise your child, even if they get 4/10 in an exam, praise your child in front of others. 2. Never make your child feel that he or she is useless. Never favour one child over the other. 3. Every time you speak with your children, speak with respect, say “Jazakallahu khair ”, etc. Don’t use slang such as ‘gimme’, instead say ‘please give me’; use clear words, be polite and never swear. 4. You need to bear in mind when your child is young that he or she is just a child, don’t take away their playing time by treating them like adults. If you do this, they will rebel in life. 5. Assist your children in making decisions. He or she must be taught to make decisions. Acknowledge them, guide them by talking to them. If they want to go go for something, then help them plan. 6. Whenever you have decisions to make, ask your child for his or her opinion. For example, if you are going to buy a car, ask them what colour they’d like the car to be. This develops the habit of consultancy in them. 7. If possible, dedicate a corner of the house to your child and write the name of your child there – make it their little space. Put their certificates on the wall; this will make them more confident of themselves. 8. Teach your child to follow you in salah. Lead them rather than merely instructing, it’s a more powerful way to teach them. Your child will remember what he/she sees you doing forever. Start instructing them to read salah at the age of 7, this will help make it easy for them to pray when they reach puberty and it becomes compulsory on them. 9. Teach your children how to put forward their opinions and how to disagree on matters. Don’t use swear words or be aggressive when you disagree on anything as this will be picked up by your child. Children pick up things very fast. 10. Encourage your child to ask questions and try to answer each question. Otherwise, they will get the answer from the wrong source. Praise their questions at times. 11. Always fulfil your promises to your children. Do not make big promises which you cannot fulfil; this makes them develop a habit of making false promises. If you fail to fulfil any promise, explain. 12. It is very important to teach your child how to develop skills of being a member of a group. Team work is very important; this teaches them to give chances to people in life rather always competing. 13. Make dua for your children. Even if they have gone astray, pray for them. 14. Tell them you might fail once, but never lose hope. Teach them how they should react to a failure. 15. Apologize to your child if you have made a mistake, this teaches your child to repent to Allah. Don’t raise ifs and buts when you are wrong; there are no ifs and buts when it comes to repentance. 16. Have a few surprises for your children, to praise their good deeds, give them recognition at home and explain to them that this surprise is for the good deeds that you did. 17. Make sure you train your children to read a portion of Quran daily, according to their capacity. 18. Tell your child repeatedly that you love them, tell them how gorgeous they are and how important they are to you, hug them, its a sunnah to kiss your children. |

The dealings of the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, with other religions can best be described in the verse of the Quran: “To you be your religion, to me be mine.” The Arabian Peninsula during the time of the Prophet was a region in which various faiths were present. There were Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, polytheists, and others not affiliated with any religion. When one looks into the life of the Prophet, one may draw on many examples to portray the high level of tolerance shown to people of other faiths. In order to understand and judge this tolerance, one must look into the period in which Islam was a formal state, with the specific laws laid down by the Prophet in accordance with the tenets of religion. Even though one can observe many examples of tolerance shown by the Prophet in the thirteen years of his stay in Mecca, one may incorrectly think that it was only due to seeking to raise the profile of the Muslims and the social status of Islam and in general. For this reason, the discussion will be limited to the period which commenced with the migration of the Prophet to Medina, and specifically once the constitution was set. The Saheefah ----------------- The best example of the tolerance shown by the Prophet to other religions may be the constitution itself, called the ‘Saheefah’ by early historians.[1] When the Prophet migrated to Medina, his role as a mere religious leader ended; he was now the political leader of a state, governed by the precepts of Islam, which demanded that clear laws of governance be laid out to ensure harmony and stability in a society which once had been distraught by decades of war, one which must ensure the peaceful coexistence of Muslims, Jews, Christians and polytheists. Due to this, the Prophet laid down a ‘constitution’ which detailed the responsibilities of all parties which resided in Medina, their obligations towards each other, and certain restrictions which were placed on each. All parties were to obey what was mentioned therein, and any breach of its articles was regarded as an act of treachery. One Nation ------------ The first article of the constitution was that all the inhabitants of Medina, the Muslims as well as those who had entered the pact from the Jews, Christian, and idolaters, were “one nation to the exclusion of all others.” All were considered members and citizens of Medina society regardless of religion, race, or ancestry. People of other faiths were protected from harm as much as the Muslims, as is stated in another article, “To the Jews who follow us belong help and equity. He shall not be harmed nor his enemies be aided.” Previously, each tribe had their alliances and enemies within and without Medina. The Prophet gathered these different tribes under one system of governance which upheld pacts of alliances previously in existence between those individual tribes. All tribes had to act as a whole with disregard to individual alliances. Any attack on other religion or tribe was considered an attack on the state and upon the Muslims as well. The lives of the practitioners of other religions in the Muslim society was also given protective status. The Prophet said: “Whoever kills a person who has a truce with the Muslims will never smell the fragrance of Paradise.” (Saheeh Muslim) Since the upper hand was with the Muslims, the Prophet strictly warned against any maltreatment of people of other faiths. He said: “Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud) To Each Their Own Religion ------------------------------ In another article, it states, “the Jews have their religion and the Muslims have theirs.” In this, it is clear that anything other than tolerance would not be tolerated, and that, although all were members of a society, each had their separate religion which could not be violated. Each was allowed to practice their beliefs freely without any hindrances, and no acts of provocation would be tolerated. There are many other articles of this constitution which may be discussed, but emphasis will be placed on an article which states, “If any dispute or controversy likely to cause trouble should arise, it must be referred to God and His Messenger.” This clause maintained that all inhabitants of the state must recognize a higher level of authority, and in those matters which involved various tribes and religions, justice could not be meted out by individual leaders; rather it must be adjudicated by the leader of the state himself or his designated representatives. It was allowed, however, for individual tribes who were not Muslims, to refer to their own religious scriptures and their learned men in regards to their own personal affairs. They could though, if they opted, ask the Prophet to judge between them in their matters. God says in the Quran: “…If they do come to you, either judge between them or decline to interfere...” (Quran 5:42) Here we see that the Prophet allowed each religion to judge in their own matters according to their own scriptures, as long as it did not stand in opposition to articles of the constitution, a pact which took into account the greater benefit of the peaceful co-existence of the society. Freedom of Religious Assembly and Religious Autonomy ---------------------------------------------- Given consent by the constitution, the Jews had the complete freedom to practice their religion. The Jews in Medina at the time of the Prophet had their own school of learning, named Bait-ul-Midras, where they would recite the Torah, worship and educate themselves. The Prophet emphasized in many letters to his emissaries that religious institutions should not be harmed. Here in a letter addressed to his emissary to the religious leaders of Saint Catherine in Mount Sinai who has sought the protection of the Muslims: “This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by God! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are declared to be protected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).”[1] As one can see, this Charter consisted of several clauses covering all important aspects of human rights, including such topics as the protection of minorities living under Islamic rule, freedom of worship and movement, freedom to appoint their own judges and to own and maintain their property, exemption from military service, and the right to protection in war. On another occasion, the Prophet received a delegation of sixty Christians from the region of Najran, then a part of Yemen, at his mosque. When the time for their prayer came, they faced the direction of east and prayed. The Prophet ordered that they be left in their state and not harmed. Politics -------- There are also examples in the life of the Prophet in which he cooperated with people of other faiths in the political arena as well. He selected a non-Muslim, Amr-ibn Umaiyah-ad-Damri, as an ambassador to be sent to Negus, the King of Ethiopia. These are only some of the examples of the Prophet’s tolerance of other faiths. Islam recognizes that there are a plurality of religions on this earth, and gives the right to individuals to choose the path which they believe to be true. Religion is not to be, and was never, forced upon an individual against their own will, and these examples from the life of the Prophet are an epitome of the verse of the Quran which promotes religious tolerance and sets the guideline for the Muslims’ interaction with people of other faiths. God says: “…There is no compulsion in religion…” (Quran 2:256) |

We all know that fertility varies from woman to woman: Some struggle to conceive, while others are surprised by a pregnancy when they're trying to avoid it. But getting pregnant while you're already pregnant? That seems to go beyond the extremes of human fertility. And yet – at least for a handful of women – it has happened. In an odd phenomenon known as superfetation, a pregnant woman releases an egg a few weeks into her pregnancy. The second egg is fertilized, and the woman is then pregnant with two babies simultaneously. (Don't confuse this with superfecundation – when two eggs released during the same cycle are fertilized at separate times. Biologically speaking, things aren't supposed to happen this way. "Pregnancy hormones usually shut down a woman's system, making it impossible for her to ovulate during her pregnancy," says Connie Hedmark, an obstetrician at Marquette General Hospital in Michigan. "This is why superfetation is so remarkable." No one knows why it happens. But according to Karen Boyle, a nationally recognized expert in reproductive medicine, superfetation may occur when implantation of the first embryo is delayed, preventing that initial spike in hormones. Delayed implantation is said to occur in rabbits and some other animals (although this hasn't been well studied). In humans, the phenomenon seems to be so rare that when Boyle was preparing for a segment about superfetation on ABC's Good Morning America, she was able to find only about ten cases on record. After the show aired, however, Boyle was inundated with comments and emails from people who suspect that they experienced superfetation themselves. Many others wrote to say that they knew of twins, one of whom appeared to have been conceived much later than the other. "I was shocked at the response," says Boyle. Couldn't some of these cases be the result of growth retardation in one of the twins? Definitely. But, as Boyle points out, we can't dismiss the possibility that superfetation is simply not recognized when it does happen. Are the babies born at the same time? Yes. In the earliest known cases, the babies' age difference was discovered after both children were delivered naturally. These days, the condition shows up during an ultrasound, giving Mom and the medical team time to plan the delivery – usually a planned c-section, since only one of the babies is full-term. https://www.babycenter.com/0_strange-but-true-getting-pregnant-when-youre-already-pregnan_10364946.bc
