When politics is in dis-favor he will drop Arewa and quickly make himself a Northerner and then remind us, not to forget that there are 19 states that make up North.

If he refers to himself twenty times that day as a Northerner, it will be accompanied twenty times with the reminder.

For crying out loud, Nigeria is divided into two: Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria. An average Northerner does not know this is NW or NC or NE. What he knows is North. North is North as long as you speak Hausa. President can come from any region and they will happily vote him.
If you come down to the south, we keep dividing ourselves, your SW, am SE or He's SS. For God's sake South is South.
We're more Educated, civilized, richer and have more technical nohow than this people putting us in loggerheads.
We're still leading them, since the return of democracy in 1999 South has been President for 14 years, if Buhari finishes First tenure North will have 6years, even if Buhari is elected again that will give North 10 years. We have 4 years ahead of them.

Thank you all for your kind comments in this trying times for me. I do love my wife and I adore my kids and would never abandon them. I came to the US with her to better myself and further my education, and since i didn't want her to remain idle and dormant while i studied, i advised her to apply to skool too. All this I explained in my post last year. I'll do anything for my kids and wife and she knows it.

I read your story, and I'm touched by it.

The moment my wife mentioned "I'd have married another person and not you cos he's better", that marks the end of our marriage. I mean it.

I know you love her. Try very hard to move on and build your life again. Try not to beg her or her family.

Love your kids and stay true to them. You shouldn't have allowed her to take them in the first place.

It's difficult. May the good lord be your strength.
