donphilopus: I saw everything today. Some thugs were shot dead in Anyigba today and election has been rescheduled in Ogori Magongo. I saw a video of Ododo angrily storming out of his father's house. People were hailing him and crooning "Excellency" but he didn't even bother to acknowledge their greetings. The result from a polling unit in Igalamela LGA shows that the Igalas are fully with Muri. Let's see how it ends though. I saw that video of Ododo angrily walking out and I can feel his pain. Kogi east is largely peaceful and the votes I saw from Ankpa is heartwarming. Out of the 7 big LGs in Kogi, 3 are in the eastern part: namely Dekina, Idah and Ankpa. In fact, there was a time Igala wanted Dekina added to Kogi central so they can use their number there to produce another Senator. Igala are running a clean election, but Ebira are rigging. Yahaya Bello will fail. |

This is what Oziogu and the rest of Ebira guys are banking on. Muri is winning his base fair and square. No rigging. |

FreeStuffsNG: He was the one the Igala adopted. The Igala have the largest voting bloc and the man was in APC before. If he wins, he will return to APC and Ogbeni Yahaya Bello can get a deserving political retirement Tinubu won't even look Yahaya Bello in the face after this election. He's not being a good guy to Tinubu. Muri sponsored election for the APC in Kogi east in the last election. |

Gabbriell: Look at this illiterate.
First of all, Ogori/Magongo and Ajaokuta are part of Kogi central.
Lokoja is the state capital. Even though it belong to the western cenetorial district, there are more Ebiras there than Yorubas.
Lokoja population distribution: Igala (east) > Ebira (central) > Okun (west)
There is nothing for the west in this election. It will take a miracle for west to win.
It's a tight race between East and Central. You can say or think anything to make yourself feel better that's your problem. The line in bold shows i'm not an illiterate, but you're. Ogori would vote in protest. Kotonkarfe hasn't liked Yahaya for one day and felt if he's giving to an Ebira man, he should have considered them. You can see what SDP supporters and APC's have been doing prior to now. Lokoja is cosmopolitan and everyone is there - people in Lokoja don't like Yahaya Bello. Ajaokuta is diversed and IGALA has a huge population there, this is where I hinge my postulation for possible outcome. |

donphilopus: Lol. You're sounding funny. During the last general elections, the two major parties (APC and PDP) got 197k votes in the east, 127k in the west and 104k in the central for the senatorial seats. Kogi eastern votes almost doubled that of central. You can check online. Ebiras don't have much votes compared to the Igalas.
If the election is conducted fairly and it goes tribal, there's no way Ododo would win the election even if the Igalas decide to give Muri just 60-65% of their votes.
The way Yahaya Bello has thugs is the same way Muri has. Bello can't intimidate him with thugs. So many people have been protesting against Muri and SDP, you can't tell me the presidency isn't aware. But they've not made any statement yet. Don't be surprised to see the military not doing Bello's bidding on election day. I was told Muri singlehandedly sponsored Tinubu's campaign in Kogi whereas Bello refused to step down for Tinubu during the primaries. Have you forgotten that he angrily stormed out of northern APC governors' meeting some days to the primaries when he was asked to allow the ticket come to the south? Don, you get sense. Army are refusing to do Bello's bidding already. Tinubu go clear Bello doubt. Bello practically walked out of the meeting to have him step down. Muri did everything for Tinubu in the time of cash crunch and election. He's been in AC/ACN since 2005. The system will humble bello today. Tinubu knows who's his man. |

At least, we can make excuse for Ododo and hoping SIM/Wike happens to them.
But anyway, it's your choice. Muri held what position at the National level? Abysmal performance? 😂 |

tobsonkings: Statistically, its impossible for your yahaya bello to win. Dino may even have a better chance. The truth is that Ajaka Muri is coming as the next governor. Until Egbiri and okuns humble themselves and work together, they dont stand a chance. Should you be deceive that Yahaya bello won in 2015 and 2019, you maybe the GOAT. Igala would always decide who become the governor. I'd have wanted it to go to the west, but Bello think he's smart. Igala should snatch it hand it over to Okun later. Even if West and Central join forces, they won't even defeat an igala-igala ticket cos they have over 50% of the voting population. |

Gabbriell: Which payback?
It seems you don't understand the ethnic divide on ground.
All the votes are going to be scattered along ethnic lines. This gives Bello candidate the most advantage because he will also be hoping to cancel out most Eastern votes through election violence.
As for the west, population is not on their side compared to the East and Central. Bello has also planted other party there to take parts of Dino's votes. You kept displaying your ignorance here. So, central is more populous than kogi west? You see what Lokoja, Ajaokuta, Kotonkarfe and Ogori Magongo would do to Yahaya today? You'll be shocked. |

Antoeni: #REFLECT!!!
In the market you find a poor Woman with a Baby at her back, you lower your Car window and with a Military rough command voice you asked her:
How much are you selling those Onions and Bananas?
The poor seller politely replies, "N1,500 for a bunch of Bananas and N1,000 for a pack of Onions".
With pride you demand the bunch of bananas at N800 and the the pack of onions at N700 or else you will leave.
The poor seller resigns to fate and replies, "take them at the price you want". I have not made any sale today, at least I have something for supper now.
She has made a loss but she goes further to buy a plastic bag for you to pack the two items you have just bought.
You order her to hurry up otherwise you may change your mind. She apologises and with a smile, she gives you the items and she blesses you for patronizing her.
You literally throw the Money at her and you sped away leaving behind a cloud of smoke and dust which causes a bit of discomfort to her and the Baby. She is coughing while securing her little Money. Her poverty has left her with no choice.
You have now arrived at the 5-Star Restaurant where you are to meet friends and you ask them to order Food and Drinks of their choice.
They order expensive food and the leftovers are more than the food they have eaten.
The total bill is N65,000 and you pay without bargaining, you gave a tip of N5,000 appreciating the Waiter for a delicious meal....which you didn't eat even half of.
This incident might seem quite normal to you but it's inhumane...!!!
THE POINT IS:-👇
Why do we always show that we have the bargaining power when we buy from the poor?
Why do we become arrogant when buying from the poor?
Why do we become stingy when buying from the vulnerable?
Why do we show generosity to those who do not even need our generosity?
Why do we become polite when buying from the rich who view our money as mere change?
Why do we channel money to a sea of money?
Please buy simple goods from the poor people at high prices....do it deliberately.
Sometimes, pay extra for the items you buy from poor Women...you are only blessing them in your little way.
Please where possible buy items from local markets.
To everyone reading this, please, everytime you see them in traffic, taxi parks, bus stops, on the streets....just buy!
Don't bargain. They are not looking for money to buy expensive clothes or mansions or cars, but to feed their children back home and pay school fees.
#PLEASE_let_us_support_the_less_privileged...🙏 Sad reality! |

I still don't get what the issue is really. He's afraid of deportation? Since he came to visit why is he afraid to go back to Nigeria
I don't see what racism has to do with it. Maybe he should research what rights he supposedly has that prevents border personnel from going through his documents or phone. You already shared that the reason for your travel was to birth abroad na so the border personnel is right na.
Their passports are with them so go to the hearing. Better plan payment for the hospital bills or look for charities to help you pay. Jejely collect your baby's Canadian passport. Deportation is not the end of the world. My question, too. |

delpee: True about the roads. I passed through the Agege - Sango Ota Road last week. It's heartbreaking seeing massive craters on the road with cars diving in and out. The Sango-Akute road is another hell on earth. I wonder how those living there and working in Lagos cope. It's actually possible to even link the place to Lagos Ibadan expressway vua Magboro. Some foresight for future planning if he cares.
I don't know if the Sango - Ifo road is better now. It was an eyesore the last time I went that way. Even the Ota industrial estate has no motorable road as far as I could see. Those are heavy taxpayers being ignored.
Gov. Dapo Abiodun needs to really work harder. FG hasn't made his work easier but if he focuses on doing well, he'll accomplish it. Sango-Ifo was bad the last time I was there. Dapo is clueless. Even Agbara that boasts of FTZ is lacking good road network. |
