Family › Re: As I'm Enduring This, Am I Really Making My Children Better? by BALLOSKI: 6:00pm On Dec 26, 2023 |
GreatAchiever1: I admire the persistence but you should not leave your husband no matter what, I don't know how hard you've tried helping him overcome his gambling addiction, probably it's the kind of herd he has ganged up with that introduced him to it. I believe you should try and challenge him to become a better father(be respectable and submissive about this) and back it up with prayers. There are Men coaches online including pastors where he can listen to their messages and be motivated to take up fatherly responsibility, encourage and cheerlead him in doing this.
And for your boys, don't bad mouth their father to them. No matter what a boy when growing up needs his father even if he is not responsible(afterall they are the result of their father's seed). If your husband is lacking the father figure they need at that age, I don't know if you have relations that can teach and guide them in the right masculine path. A boy needs mentors to look up to to become a man so as not to become a nuisance in the society and a woman can't be the mentors they need. Again I will say look up resources online they can learn from incase you don't know relations that can help guide them. Who be this guy? She should stay and lose 2 precious humans to a man like this in the name of marriage? If she was your sister, would you give this advice? Let's be guided, please. She should leave the useless man and focus on raising her kids. She should ignore useless advice. |

DomPerignon: Pornhub is owned by an ordained Jewish rabbi.
Solomon Friedman.
Imagine a Christian clergy or a Muslim Imam owning a porn production and distribution company.
The fines ($1.3m) do not in anyway fit the crime.
Human trafficking and pimps get life in prison .
Why should PornHub be made to pay only a meagre $1.3m? A site doing what helps in the destruction of the world - something they want to see happen, would not get sanctioned doing their lord(satan)'s work. Had it been it's binance or one individual, you'd see how they'd handle him. This one is doing their work. They're pleased with him. And above all, he's a Jewish man. You can't touch him. |
Family › Re: At 36, I Still Stay With My Parents And I Feel Not bad about it. by BALLOSKI: 1:49am On Dec 26, 2023 |
Fountainofyouth: Check out most threads here on inheritance and fighting for properties, it is always created by men which is embarrassing and disgraceful, Op for instance is proud of living in his father's house, if he has any atom of shame, he wouldn't come here to boost about it
My point is, if men are able to toil and make a name for themselves through various achievements, inheriting parents properties will only be seen as an added advantage, not something to fight and scream over. You didn't see where he said his mom is old and his dad is late? He should leave his aged mom? Do you know why, as men, we mostly prefer male children? Those who would keep your name and your house busy even when you're gone. Unlike women who marry into other family, men bring women home to build family. |

A wife that can't afford one bag of rice for her mother is a BIG liability to her husband.
- A man will kneel and beg a woman to marry him.
- Same man will pay bride price
- Same man will organize and foot the weeding bills.
- Same man will pay for hospital bills
- Same man will also take care of the wife's family
All just for procreation?
Wetin man dey gain for marriage And the same man will die before the woman and she's the one benefit the fruit of labour, as men usually don't get anything back. |

Politics › Re: Port Harcourt Refinery Not ‘Fully’ Ready – Leadership by BALLOSKI: 5:54am On Dec 25, 2023 |
“It’s crucial to note that the Old Port Harcourt Refinery (OPHR) being rehabilitated is 60,000 barrels per day, not 210, 000. The NNPC has communicated that the mechanical completion phase will be ready by December. The remaining steps include testing lines, checking for leaks, blowing and drying lines, flushing, steam out, equipment calibration, and then introducing hydrocarbons. Testing for air in the lines is vital to prevent potential explosions, aligning with global best practices.
“While eagerness exists to complete the project, it’s essential for NNPC Ltd, as a global energy company, to conduct all necessary checks and testing,” Soneye said. Commenting on the developments, general secretary, Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASAN), Lumumba Okugbawa, said the refinery was still undergoing test running, adding that Nigeria should be happy that something is happening to the refinery after many years of abandonment. Naysayers should slow it down. Vanguard should be careful how they sensationalize this story. Every discerning mind knows they're steps to reigniting or kickstarting a refinery that has been moribund for quite a while. They should allow the process. I also want to hear from the company handling this project. “Nigeria should also note that the coming up of the refinery will not automatically crash the price of fuel in Nigeria. Fuel from the refinery will be sold at international price,” he stated. I just hate to hear this nonsense. My own crude, my refinery and i'm to sell my product at international price. Who made that stupid rule in the first place? |

Seriously this man is brutal politically. As in how can the most villified and hated governor in the whole of South East wins all the 27 Local governments even the opposition local governments and not just winning but winning with bloody nose to other parties. E shock me .. How he managed to draw Ohakim closer to the point of hosting his fundraising dinner and keeping Ihedioha from seeing reason to contest now is a masterstroke. emperor863: You did not get my point. You can only establish over voting through voters registers and form EC8s and not through bvas or irev. Check CA and SC ruling in Oyetola vs Adeleke.
The politicians know what they are doing, our electoral laws need to be updated. One returning officer in the Imo election canceled elections due to over-voting. If the court refuse to use that evidence, it's a question of INEC not standing their ground. But as the umpire, the Constitution gives them power to lay rules from which they can uphold and cancel elections if the guidelines are not met. |

seunmsg: Can Muri Ajaka get the required constitutional spread? He'd be declared by simple majority. The only thing that would lead to an "inconclusive" situation is when the margin of victory is less than the number of canceled votes. Even if it's done again, Okene and Adavi or Okehi won't churn out this fake figures again. |
