Business › Re: Why Are Nigerians Still Buying Dollars by BALLOSKI: 1:43am On Oct 26, 2023 |
Yourprick: bro understand the post, look at our highest import, what happens when we stop importing petroleum products? Our problem is too much imports and petroleum up there has the highest percentage The only thing that can save the naira is when we begin to produce - when we are no more an import-dependent economy and export more than we import. When there is power and it's cheaper to produce here. When we add value to what we export and not just export the raw materials; Naira gains in this situation and we have more jobs for our people. |
Business › Re: How Government Policies Is Killing My Business by BALLOSKI: 1:28am On Oct 26, 2023 |
richmond500: The essence of these policies is to kill importation business and make Nigeria a production country. Your business is not the only business that is dying, many business that depends on dollar has closed down and more will close too.
Time is coming when Naira will hit 5000 to a dollar. When this happens, foreign products will be difficult to purchase and we will have no choice but to buy made in Nigeria goods cos even a pair of foreign pants will be so expensive that only politicians can afford it while the rest of us will wear plantain leaves.
It's so annoying that the average secondary school student knows the dollar to naira exchange rate, that shows how we depend so much on the dollar and killing our own naira. Until we patronize our own companies, we can't grow the economy, this painful stage is called the transition stage from foreign to local, the govt is not the problem but the time it takes Nigerians to accept the Nigerian goods will determine how long the pain will last.
In the next five years, we will fully accept our own economy and in the next ten years, we will have an economy that will beat France and Germany cos we have the market already. This article article you wrote here shows you don't know the cost of production in Nigeria. What are we producing? |

Does he know what $20m is? Does he know that so many working class Americans who earn in dollars can't even afford that money, is it a Nigerian business man earning in naira who would give it to you without breaking a sweat?
The guy was just naive and greedy. I pray he gets justice sha. How many Americans have $20m? What's their average yearly earnings? |

Pst Isaac has his own calling and has yielded to God's call. May God's grace be upon him. story! He has gone to create another branch of the family business. Properties › Re: How Much Electricity Does Water Pumping Machine Use In a Month? by BALLOSKI: 6:39am On Oct 25, 2023 |
NotoriousBiggyS: I stays in an apartment that has five 5flat , each flat occupied with 5 different tenants including myself. Before we uses direct electricity which we collectively pays monthly but recently got change to prepaid meter. With each fat with it own prepaid meter. The landlord refuse to bring another prepaid separately for the compound water Pumping Machine. However the tenants come to dialogue and agreed to tap electricity from my own prepaid meter to the pumping machine in agreement that each tenant will be paying me 1000naira monthly. So I want to know if 5k can be enough to run pumping machine for a month? It can pump it for more than a month. Average amperage of a pumping machine when clamped(using clampo-meter) is like 6-7 Amps. You don't pump water always and in less than 30 minutes, the tank is filled. Depending on your tarrif or Band, you can have 80 Kwh on Band A and i'm not certain you can use 2kwh unit in one pumping and your house cannot pump water 40 times in a month. We have 14 flats in our compound, we pump everyday, I don't think the last 5000 we recharged has run out - at least no one has asked me to pay since then. I even bought the last one when irecharge wouldn't allow us to buy due to upgrade issue. You'll benefit more. The only issue is, you'll be responsible to always off the pump whenever someone sets it on even if you didn't on it because it's tied to your own meter. In our compound, those upstairs would on it and leave it running for those downstairs to go and turn it off; even if it's 2am in the morning. I hate their attitude, but I hate to see water wasting more. |

Acekidc4: I think Nigeria should follow suit🤔🤔 Nigeria is a Secular Country not an Islamic Country. Nigeria is a secular state when Muslim girls are forced to dress like Christians. If the leadership of this country knows what It's doing, they should promote diversity. The secularity they're looking for represent the identity of another religion. I'm very sure if Christians were in the majority, like Muslims are here, they won't call for this secularism. |

If it is the woman that placed her late husband's pix like that, will the man overlook it? The answer is no This is a flawed comparison. The man own the house and he's the head. benuejosh: The North never knew about this issues of kidnapping that started in the South East and South South. How come it has found its way into the Northern region.
I wish her safe release and the kidnappers should be found and made to face the wrath of the law.
I stand against lawlessness and crime.
Modified: To the kids quoting me and asking me if what happened to chibok was a vacation. Most of them i am sure were given birth after Yar'adua died. Go and learn about kidnapping activities of the south south militants and those of the South East who were highway robbers and kidnappers before asking me of Chibok girls. In Nigeria, just don't allow any bad thing to start happening, if it does, it spreads like wildfire - especially when someone is benefiting from it. We're bad at stopping criminal activities from happening. |

Money, money, money Well, no nation stays powerful forever and the USA is not an exception. They'd fall some day. They love injustice when it favours them, they scream humanitarian crisis and value for human lives when it's against them or Russia doing it. BXNX: This incident in Gombe State is certainly a matter of concern. The arrest of 76 youths allegedly involved in same-sex relationships highlights the complex issue of human rights and societal values. While the authorities have their reasons for taking action, it's essential to ensure that the rights of all individuals are respected. This situation calls for a broader discussion on tolerance, diversity, and education. It is important to address such matters with empathy and understanding while upholding the law, ensuring that the legal process is fair and just for all parties involved. They're not facing jungle justice, they'll be charged to court. |

Kenosky1: Such accidental attack is expected in a war situation, even Nigeria police is involved in accidental discharge when there is no war self,
Israel is actually dealing with the terrorist and destroying their capacity to ever attack them again. Iran and Hamas underestimated the response that will come from Israel, the plan was as usual to hide among civilians.
On a more serious note, UN should ensure an end to this conflict and prevent World War III, this one China don de send warship to middle east. Are you for real? Israel has always killed them without even hitting at Israel like they did this time around, and you think they don't know how Israel will retaliate? Israel is too demonic, barbaric and cruel to be underestimated. Do you notice how they quickly issue a statement because they hit an Egyptian army? Those ones are not Hamas, Israel won't start such war. It's on top Palestinians they can flex muscle. |

The baby's head does not enter from outside, it comes from inside, so it's easier to fall out with push, pain and gravity. It's not same with what's going inside. |
