Career › Re: Passion VS Money - I Need Your Advice by BALLOSKI: 12:06am On Sep 05, 2023
CaveAdullam:
1. When choosing a career or means of income, it is better to choose from a place of individual sovereignty, freedom to pursue your ambitions, and peace of mind.

Jobs don't offer these privileges, even though only a few pay huge amounts as salaries and allowances.

2. Life can take any dimension. It doesn't take note of your plans and strategies. Just like the rise and fall of ocean tides at will. What you do is notice the changes and keep deciphering ways to maneuver and stay afloat.

3. If both jobs pay approximately the same salary, better to move permanently into the tech field. You love it and it is a field with infinite opportunities.

Perhaps, if you can manage both that'll be good (just joking though). What about outsourcing and getting a percentage from anyone? Is there any chance of that?

4. Preferably, it is better to suffer on your terms with your freedom and peace of mind intact than to work from Monday - to Sunday, like a "while loop" with pay that can't cater to your needs conveniently.

Ask yourself this question: Can your annual salary in 10 years build a standard bungalow, assuming you didn't spend a dime?

This is a litmus test to use in choosing a career or one that has a great opportunity for growth despite a high or low salary.

5. Don't fear the unknown. Life is all about challenges. Fear the outcome of not trying than relinquishing because of the uncertainty of the adventure.

You alone can carry your cross.

Thanks.

Gold mining, tin mining, or some type of precious mining. The engine is an air compressor, the tube is what they use in breathing oxygen while they are under water. Once the engine stops working which it does at times , it can be toxic to the guy underwater as it releases a toxic gas into the tube and this is not good for breathing. When engine stops working, he has a limited amount of time to swim up

Also, as you dig the bottom part of the earth while underwater, there is a way the top part or the middle part of the sand can fall ontop the diver thus burying him alive.

This looks more like in Ghana.
I thought as much - I knew this is some kind of mining. What I don't understand is how he left his eyes open with no cover like divers use.

Iyaebube:
It started last two Sunday at the children's department. They were taught covering of the body as a child of God and ever since that day, my son has not remain the same again on his way of reasoning. My husband n I was all joking about it but it's getting out of hand the way my son is going about it

What he does now is he doesn't allow us especially me to wear skimpy wear at home anymore.whenever I put it on he will be shouting mummy cover your "private part" even my last baby that's not up to 2 was playing with the sleeveless top she was wearing the chest was showing immediately my son started shouting baby cover your private part. The private part he use to shout instead of another word cover your body provoked me to flog him to stop using that word cos he's just 4.

The incident that happened yesterday made us speechless was my family n I went to have a nice time because since that last two Sunday my son haven't stepped out of the house. We decided to have fun yesterday only for my son to screaming mummy see this one she or he is showing there private part. It brought alot of attention to us that we quickly ended what we came out to do.

How do I handle this issue to clear it off his head cos I have spoken n spanked him to stop but this is what he refused to stop saying n is embarrassing. Of all they where thought in Sunday school, why did he chose this one to practically implement?
The little man is saying the right thing. You just teach him how to say it properly and not to everyone.

I don't bother looking at it anymore cos in hindsight I hear that voice what if she is menstruating and I go........yuck.

Imagine rocking a girl in the club with big ass but she is menstruating...........yuck

That ass isn't worth stressing over.

I can never look at a lady and have a boner anymore cos the thought of she might be menstruating always play in my head.
It all happened to some of us at some points. The fact is, you're still very young. When you grow older, this mindset would fade away. It's about maturity and growth. You're still at that stage. You'll outgrow it.

And the late Major General Aguiyi Ironsi is also responsible for the most deceptive, fraudulent, and highly skewed 1999 military imposed constitution that was passed down by the vestigial remains of the post July 1966 northern military coupists?
if we didn't have the unitary system, we won't have that constitution.

I am happy that my threads here exposing Ibos as the architects of modern failed Nigeria are being discussed and debated openly.

Ibos do not have any shred of right to complain of modern Nigeria because they are the ones who not only fashioned it but still support its parasitic existence.

Biafra my left yansh.
That's why I always tell them that we all messed this country up and they can't play victims and leave the wreckage.

I've always blamed Aguiyi-Ironsi for our present day problems and my only consolation is that, he was also brutally killed like those killed before he assumed power as a beneficiary.

What I didn't know is the fact that the 3 members of his committee that brought the unitary system are all igbo.

Even the colonial government thought Aguiyi was unfit to lead an army unit while they were leaving and trying to hand over to our people.

By mere looking at Aguiyi, you can easily spot a "dundee". He was really foolish. If he had even punished the coup plotters, we'd not have gotten here or experienced civil war.

His head does not stay stably on his neck. He looks up intermittently before answering questions. Dunce!

Igbo people should stop playing victims.

OZIOGU1:
I hope they listen to you, APC and Tinubu cannot afford to lose the first election under Thier administration, secondly opposition in Kogi is dead
In a free and fair election, APC won't even come 3rd in the election.

Reasons:

1. Yahaya Bello failed developmentally.
2. He doesn't pay salary.
3. He's violent.
4. He chose his cousin brother, from the same ward, same polling unit and LG to succeed him. Even his own ebira people from other LGs in his zone are complaining.

5.He did 8 years, as a minority, instead of him to push power to another senatorial zone, he held it in his own zone. He could have started the culture of rotation in the state. Imagine what the Igala would do when power returns to them.

6. Dino is popular. Taju of ADC from the Okun side is also popular. Muri is really a big force in the state. Admiral Jibrin is there.

APC can win with bloodletting style of rigging like they did in 2019. If not, they'd lose.

Couple with this hardship under APC? Dem go run protest vote in that state, except of course, things improve before the election.

Riggers of election.

How can you expect 99% when Kogi east and west is against Ododo?

None of Muri, Dino, Ododo, Rear Admiral Jibrin can even boast of 40% and this dollar thief is opening his smelly mouth to say trash.
That Admiral is getting at Muri for helping them to disqualify him for Yahaya Bello to cruise to victory in 2019. He's not forgiving him. He and Muri, having come from the east with higher voting strength in the state, could have easily come together to wrestle power from Yahaya and his cousin brother, but I understand his case.

All i know is marriage sweet but with the right person..
Don't play with red flags and don't go after oloshos who are good in packaging..
Before relationship work perfect' there are alot of understanding and maturity between the two people in question..
Many girls are after material things so one man can't satisfy their needs, so they look for other options making her to lack loyalty and understanding.
Another reason is' women now also have trust issue against men so many of them date more than one person incase any of them break their heart they will flow with the your deputy.. Even men don't trust women again because majority of men and women has taste the bitter side of love.. Nobody want to be preyed on..
Your deputy got me laughing. 😂 Lol
