Any student going to wrexham university for Jan 2025?. To see a way we can get a share accommodation |
[Any information about securing accommodation for January 2025 intake at wrexham quote author=carljh123 post=128366868]I'm starting my studies at Wrexham soon and I'm in desperate need of advice regarding student accommodation. I've been researching various options around the area, but I'm not quite sure which one would be the best fit for me. From shared apartments to private rooms, you can explore affordable housing solutions tailored to student needs. Can anyone recommend any good student accommodation in Wrexham? I'm looking for something affordable, preferably with good facilities and a convenient location. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
|
Tell him to transfer the money to you. You can print relevant information from UKVI to let him know it doesn't work like that. The money must be in your account or your parent's account. . jonsnow92: |
You are free to go. Your result is exceptionally good. In order to avoid questions such as why are you going for a second master's. Don't declare your MSC in your application. I also have an MBA, but I didn't declare it during my application. Prepare a comprehensive Personal statement, CV (Finetune your CV to match the course specification outcome), and apply to the school you wish, although some schools will still not take HND for the master. But many schools will take u considering your grade and experience (provided you have wide experience in the field of your course). CGU, middle sex, RGU, UWE Bristol, Sheffield Allam, Westminster, Kingston, will accept you without much stress. Also, if schools state 2-1 as their requirement, that is a general requirement, don't worry yourself, they might still consider your application. Just check other clues like RPL - recognition of prior learning. So far the only school that advised me to go for premaster or top-up as an HND holder is ARU. Note: Applications are treated on an individual basis. SerendipityHere: |
Thanks. lot . i hope to get a student that can help. ijeshaprincess: |
Please, what is the best and quickest way to arrange accommodation, especially for students that have not gotten the visa, especially as universities like UWE are insisting on confirmation of accommodation before issuing CAS. Please if you have an offer from UWE for JAN 2022 section and waiting for CAS, let discuss the way forward. Any student already studying in UWE that can be of help can connect with me urgently. |
I received the same email from UWE. So, do you have any information on how to arrange accommodation? I have to pay a deposit before 14th NOV. If there is no way, is better I hold my deposit for another school. alabi31: |
i received this from them Hello PAUL! Congratulations again on your offer to study at UWE Please note that our January courses are in exceptionally high demand. To secure your place, you will need to have accepted your offer and paid your £3000 deposit (£1000 if you are an applicant from the EU) no later than Monday 15 November. We are not able to accept third party payments so the payment must be made by yourself or a parent, payments received from a third party will be returned and may mean you can’t join us this year. You can find more about making a payment here. To ensure that we offer you the best possible experience, we only accept a limited number of students so some courses may implement a waiting list if deposit payments are high so we encourage you to pay your deposit as soon as possible.

|

It depend on the university . Some accept waec or neco as proof of English while few will insist on SELT..like IELTS or PTE or TOFEL. You Ave to check school requirements. VicUkegbu: |
Age should never be a barrier. I have never seen any student visa denied because the applicant is old (Note: I heard Canada considers the age and study gap, but the UK doesn't). As long as you get admitted to a university, you are free to apply for a visa. But note that if you study at the undergraduate level, you will not be able to bring your dependents. The first thing you need to do is to decide which course you want to do. Since you are in the business line already, a business management course might be the best for you and that will strengthen your personal statement for admission. Secondly, search for a university (Apply to many schools, to maximize your chances) and accept the best offers. Don't forget that a degree might take you 4 years, therefore you need time and money. papayum009: |
U are welcome. U can use nairaland to send message, I will reply u ShalewaT: |
You can use Dat now,the transcript I have been using was not addressed to the school. You are very free to go.. Best of luck. ShalewaT: |
Your work will start from dere. Arrange ur transcript first. I don't think it's possible to get unconditional offer, without transcript. Just act like u want to meet up with Jan, if not possible then you might be looking forward to schools that have march/april/may season, although they are not much ShalewaT: |
If ur documents are intact, u can still meet up Ur academic transcript, personal statement, certifcates, ur valuable time and money and money. Uwe close adm will close by 14th Nov, RGU by 14 Nov., many school are still available till end of this Nov., check university of Bolton, CGU, download lists of school check one by one. It might take time but it's very possible. ShalewaT: |
RGU, will tell you to reapply. I had their offer for September 2021 and sent them an email for deferment, I was told to reapply. Anyway, maybe it depends on the courses. Also, you can only defer the admission you have accepted, Therefore, accept the offer, wait for 1 month and defer it, and if they are not agreeing, reapply later. Below is the email I received from them. Hello We've been able to resolve your question about Fw: Your offer is available, your reference number is 000140649. You can view the resolution, or add further details using the button below. Resolution Details: Many thanks for your email requesting to defer your offer/application to a future intake. The information the university now collects at application stage has changed. These changes affect some areas of general information collection but also relates to the UK’s exit from the European Union and new UK Immigration Reglulations. For this reason we are unable to defer your application. We would therefore encourage you, as you continue to hold an interest in a programme with RGU, that you re-apply via our online Application Portal to ensure that all new and current relevant data is collected. If you wish to submit an application for a future intake, please let us know to enable us to withdraw your current application. That is the best. Apply to the school directly. Application are treated on individual/applicant circumstances. I got offer from GCU and Westminster, although Westminster differed the offer to Sept 2022,cos they don't want to offer it in Jan seeson again. The requirement on the school website , is 2.2 but I applied with HND and I was given an offer.Just make sure your personal statement is very comprehensive with more concentration on ur experience and knowledge of the course u are applying for. Best of luck.
Guy apply to the school direct [/quote |
It depends on the university. Universities like GCU, SHU, and UWE might be your best option. omoharry: |
@Adesquare666, could you please clarify this message?. The same transcript we used when applying for admission cannot be used for the processing of CAS. For instance, the transcript I used for the admissions application was addressed to a South African but I was just lucky to have the hard copy and I used the same to get an unconditional offer. I have not started processing for CAS, so I don't know if they will accept the same for processing my CAS. I just want to use your own case to prepare myself, as I know you would have gotten admission before processing CAS. In Nutshell, is it compulsory for the transcript to be used for CAS to carry the school name? Thanks in advance. Adesquare6666: |
[you don't need an agent, is something u can do on ur own. Google search school, ask questions here and follow the sequence and detail on the first page of this thread. quote author=Masculino post=106773344]I'm starting to apply for MSC in UK through an agent, I was asked if I'm going through scholarship or self sponsored, so I choose self sponsored. Please guys what's the cost in naira for the whole process because the agent is saying 13m. Also, I studied biotechnology in my first degree, what school and course should I go for
|
pinkhpost=106764332:check my previous post and some people have posted some school Dat accept hnd and 3rd class, there are many school u can try, it might just be a related course to mass communication. |
Aikayval:Have you received CAS from GCU LONDON? I have a conditional offer from them. The condition states I have to submit an updated statement of purpose which I have done for almost a month now. I have mailed them several times and called them tired, no response. How do you contact them, do they require POF before issuing CAS, Is there any PRE-CAS interview? If for their fees that are lower , I would have followed up with other offers I had from other schools. |
Kollyman:No, you must meet the below conditions. I will advise you put in for 1 yr pgd and move to master degree or do a pre-master of 6 months together with the master of 1 yr You usually must have one of the following to apply: a UK bachelor’s degree a UK master’s degree a UK PhD or doctorate You can also apply if you completed any of the following: a law conversion course approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority the Legal Practice Course in England and Wales, the Solicitors Course in Northern Ireland, or a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in Scotland the Bar Practice Course in England and Wales, or the Bar Course in Northern Ireland a foundation programme in medicine or dentistry a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) You may also be able to apply if passing your course made you eligible for a job that’s regulated by UK law or a UK public authority. Your education provider can tell you if your course is eligible. The below on https://warwick.ac.uk/study/international/immigration/othervisas/graduate_route_work_visa/ can give u more idea and detail. You will meet the qualification requirement if you have successfully completed a course of study for which you have been or will be awarded a UK Bachelor’s degree, a UK post graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate degree), or successfully completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). If the name of your course of study was changed by the Student sponsor, but the course content remained the same, or if an integral and assessed work placement or permitted study abroad programme was added, this will not prevent you from being able to meet the qualification requirement. The qualification must have been gained during the last grant of permission to study as a Student, or in the period of permission immediately before your last grant of permission, if the last grant of permission was to undertake a role as a Student Union Sabbatical Officer. You will not be eligible to apply if you are awarded a lower qualification, unless the lower qualification is a full degree (e.g. a Bachelors Degree). E.g. you will not be eligible if you exit with a PG Cert, PG Diploma or PG Award upon course completion. |

You can. But why not apply for MSc directly? I am an HND holder too and I have 3 admission offers already, although I applied with over 10 years of experience with some professional training and certification. I think if you have more than 3 yrs experience, some schools will accept you for MSc Kollinburg: |
