Hello damiliano. As far as I know, it is impossible to upload a passport. Do you have a device that can vaporize these little booklets and beam them across space for reintegration at another locale? I'd focus on patenting that machine rather than going back to school.
The only required document is the I-20 form issued by educational institution.

I will pay into the Chinese local account and send you a receipt. All our payments to any country is done before 8am daily.

After 8am payment is done next day.

I will allow the $500-700 of yours to skip. But I don't do below $1000. Trying to keep a standard. Thanks

Yes.
If your CRS is at least 400 points and you are yet to get the OINP PT, you should withdraw your EE profile; open a new one and update your Jobbank profile accordingly.

Ok thanks
What if one has already applied for PNPs, would creating another EE profile not affect anything

Thanks VO for the usual thoughtful response; it was helpful

VisaOfficer:

This usually applies to people who are there on student visas, L1s, H2Bs, etc., but not to people who have B1/B2s. For instance, if someone were in the U.S. on a student visa, and while she was there her F2B petition (filed by an LPR parent) became current, she could apply for adjustment of status.

On the other hand, entering the U.S. on a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa with the actual intent of adjusting status can lead to a permanent inadmissibility under INA 212(a)(6)(C)(i), material misrepresentation, if it's clear that the applicant lied to a U.S. government official at some point. There are some exceptions, but I'm not going to get into that here because obviously anyone reading this thread does want to immigrate to the U.S., so I'm not motivated to give anyone pointers for sneaking in on a B1/B2. smiley

People in the U.S. illegally (including those who have overstayed a B1/B2 or who are no longer in student status) are not eligible to adjust status while in the United States.

This sounds interesting yet confusing

Typically, which categories would qualify for this early adjustment of status in the Family Based categories?
Hope you can get more details soon to share smiley

VisaOfficer:

Oh good, a policy question! smiley I love these.

People often ask if they can apply for non-immigrant visas while they have an immigrant visa petition pending. The answer is yes, and often these people are in the U.S. when their immigrant visa petition's priority date becomes current. They can then apply for adjustment of status in the United States, rather than returning to their home country for the immigrant visa interview. Under the new policy, many such persons will have the option to apply to adjust status even before their immigrant petition is current. This policy is very new and I don't know exactly how it will be implemented, but it should cut down on wait times considerably for people who are already legally in the U.S.

It applies only to people who are already in the U.S. You can't apply to adjust status to Legal Permanent Residence if you're outside the United States.

@Visaofficer,
Kudos regarding the good work here

For someone that has a pending F4 petition, would it affect the spouse renewing his/her B1/B2 visa since the F4 petition would include the family

please can anyone assist me on wes application. i opened an account through wes usa hoping to apply for usa evaluation but couldnot meet up as at two years ago.at these moment i want to switch to wes canada.i have process my transcript from school. i want to pay now on wes website am still seeing the usa application page with charges in us dollars.please how do i switch over to the application page to be charged in canadian dollar.your respond will be appreciated.

What you need to do is create another account under WES Canada website but alter your first or last name a little bit so that the system doesn't redirect you to the WES USA website if you use the same name you had registered with. However you will be able to change your name to the correct one once the account has been created.
Hope this helps

Hi Visa Officer,
I stand to be corrected on this but isn't it a longer wait if after filing for the parents (which takes around 5 years) to naturalize, then the parent filing for the married children ( I believe this is family preference category F3), with a current wait time of 11 years. So a total of 16 years as against a current wait time of 12 years in total if the brother/sister (sibling) files now

Thanks for clarification

Good morning,

It probably would be quicker for one of your parents to immigrate and then, after naturalization, to file petitions for the rest of you. I say "after naturalization" because Legal Permanent Residents can't file for married children -- only for unmarried children.

starpower71: To comment on passport. I did it a bit different... On the advice of Rodolfo from doctoresparati.com. I went to the post office and applied for my baby's passport there. I was told I could go to any post office and do it... After I filled out the documents, it took 3 days to arrive. So in theory I would have been able to get it in less than 2 weeks (I did not use vitalchek, now I know)
Sorry didn't get that? How long did the post office process take before you received the passport. It was mailed to in town right?

starpower71: Dear members thank you so much! I just got back from the US giving birth to our second child. On behalf of this forums recommendation I did go to El Paso and used the services from www.doctoresparati.com. Im writing a very brief review because i hope it can help someone since the information included in this website helped us tremendously. All I can say is that the service is outstanding and truely recommend their service if you are thinking about your delivery.

The deciding factors for us were that were a few but mainly that it seemed that they do specialize with international patients (which they do), their promptness of their responses when we emailed them, the price for the level of service they provided.

The most important thing is you get informed to make your decision. When we looked at prices and compared all the hospital rankings, it was not that hard of a decision, basically it seemed like a high quality service at a very low price. In any case, Im just wanted to give my small review and recommend the services. Dr. Martell, Rodolfo and Melissa will go out of their way to treat right and make your time with them memorable. I hope other people keep posting their experiences and lets keep the information going, education is your best ally! Be informed fellow friends and forum members. God Bless Nigeria!

Well said wink

Khity: Thanx for reply but how long takes to get passport for baby. I am planing to go by December in case I find cheap hospital in New York I will go.
It all depends I guess. From what people have posted, it is processed only after you get the baby's birth certificate which could be as early as a few days after birth to weeks. Then the passport should also take more or less time depending on what kind of expedited service you opt for. In general I'd say within a month u should get the passport. Just my thoughts though

Travel / Re: Visaofficer Has A Question For You by bamakoe(f): 8:41am On Aug 28, 2013
VisaOfficer: Hi all,

I'm a U.S. Foreign Service Officer working in a Consular section in western Africa. I have a thread going at https://www.nairaland.com/1359935/u.s-consular-officer-ask-me where people can ask me visa-related questions. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to ask YOU a question.

Women who have newborn babies often come to us wanting visas or U.S. passports for the babies. If anything seems odd about the case, we sometimes suggest a DNA test. As you may have seen in the news, sometimes it turns out that the baby is not at all related to the woman claiming to be the mother; but the woman insists that the baby is hers and that she gave birth to it. As one news story put it:

The woman said she paid N1.8 million to the owner of the clinic. She said when the DNA result was out, it was discovered that the baby did not belong to her as the child lacked the genetic marks that must be contributed to the child by the biological parents. ... "They are mine. I paid N1.8 million to H. O., the owner of the clinic and she gave me some local herbs (Agbo), which eventually produced the babies."

The women allege that they were given herbal treatments and told not to see a regular doctor as that would disrupt the herbal effect; that they came back to see the "clinic owner" nine months later; that they were sedated, "to make the birth easier"; and that when they awoke, lo and behold, they had a baby (sometimes two babies!).

Here is my question. Do you think that the women think they're telling the truth? Please give me your insight.

Many thanks in advance!

Couldn't stop wondering myself! Although I've read a few stories like this in the news and indeed testified to such 'hospitals' existence around especially in Port Harcourt and Lagos, it's just another means scammers use to defraud desperate women trying to conceive. They set up camps where they force some teens to be impregnated and deliver babies ready to be the supposed babies delivered by the desperate women given such herbs to drink. They usually sedate them so that during the so called births, the woman 'feels' she had actually gone through childbirth.
But to answer your question, yes there are such 'hospitals' smiley

Just to add that the women would normally be given this herbal treatment all along the supposed pregnancy period that indeed makes their tummy bulge. But they'd be advised not to see a conventional doctor as they wouldn't see any foetus should they perform any scan and that they should come to the hospital ' whenever' only the 'hospital' calls them to give birth......that's when they know they have a baby ready to be sold to them .....
