hmmmm....I was in Ibadan (around Agugu area) yesterday(27/12/2013) and I saw this awkward scenes of some children and an elderly woman, fetching water from a broken pipe in a gutter.
I was so flabbergasted that I had to snap to show Nairalanders, the scene was an eyesore
I don't think I need to blame the government for this, but I taught Ibadan people are now changing
but really I guess they had no choice, which will make me wanna blame the govt again for not providing one of the basic social amenities to the people, rather they love to purchase bullet proof cars , while our people die of water-related diseases

I have stayed in ife for like 18 yrs now, schooled at oau, and later decided to stay.
Here are reasons.
It is capital intensive
if students are not around, no customer for you.
Oau offer students 4hrs browsing for 100naira. 3g or month browsing for 1000 naira.(can you beat that price)
if you don't offer some extra service like using hotspotshield, torrent, yy boys won't branch your shop.
If decide to open a cybercafe, why not start using multilink ....it is cheaper....if the business grow...then go for isp.
Jamb accredited centre will boost your service if you insist on opening
My friend, my stay in ife, shows that cybercafe biz is folding up.
People browse with their modem, and phones.
Look for good business you can invest into, go through forum...you will get ideas better than cybercafe biz

I get you and not focusing on cafe, just an additional business to whta is really intended, which will require steady and fast internet.

To a big extent Ribadu has declare his ambition under the ACN party. But what baffles me about Ribadu is that in an interview with the press all he kept on mentioning was education, education, education, as if it the only sector in the country; though important, it depends on other sectors to survive. Also looking at records Ribadu was also once OBJ's boy promoting him to AIG in no time and also why was he not able to probe OBJ or Iyabo and other when supposed to or is it the Harlibuton case. Ribadu has only serve in EFCC and think he does not know how things are been done there but none with standing i still believe in him to an extent, waiting for him to read cloud his manifesto so we can know what he has to offer.
As for jonathan thinks he likes taking his time before doing things he does not like taking risk, always want to be sure does not want to offend anyone, and also i think he is inexperience cause he cant give a straight answer always consulting special advisers and P.A. Which is not so good for a leader. A leader suppose to be able to answer anywhere when it demands. Checkout his facebook profile always answering to almost every question both relevant and otherwise, refering to his special advisers always and seeking for advise on net. Cant imagine our president asking us our views on the electoral act and Jega is crying out that no time. These i think will work against him in the coming election. Also why cant he not declare his presidential ambition now? He wants a ready made job so in the last hour he will just declare and contest. Things are not done that way. Notwithstanding a think he is a friendly president always want to carry his people along especially the youth he is not easilly moved by opposition he is a firm man. And also 100 days in office has proven what he has to offer and also building on late president foundation example the power sector at least sure he will achieve that befor may and other.
We must not forgot the quota the respective parties have to play the two major party is PDP and anti-PDP that is ACN other parties cant say. And if Ribadu is or will be the candidate of ACN and Jonathan the candidate of PDP then the two major candidate are Ribadu and Jonathan(they are the candidate of both parties so do not deceive yourself on other aspirant we are in 9ja)

Between ribadu and jonathan, which do you think is best for our country or none post your views and lets discuss. With substantials reason
