Intelligent Document Search and Knowledge Retrieval

Project Overview
Businesses often store important information across CVs, employee handbooks, training manuals, company policies, product catalogues, textbooks, and other documents. Finding specific information usually requires manually opening files and searching through pages, which can be slow and inefficient.

This AI-powered knowledge assistant allows users to upload documents from Google Drive into a secure knowledge base. Once indexed, users can simply ask questions in natural language, and the AI instantly retrieves relevant information from those documents, making access to knowledge much faster and easier.


The Challenge[/b]Many organisations accumulate hundreds of documents over time. Employees spend unnecessary time searching through files to locate information they need.

The Solution
I developed an AI-powered document intelligence system that transforms static documents into an interactive knowledge base.

Documents are automatically imported from Google Drive, converted into searchable embeddings, and stored in a Supabase Vector Store. Users can then ask questions in plain English, and the AI retrieves the most relevant information before generating accurate, context-aware responses.

The system also maintains conversation memory, allowing it to remember previous interactions and provide more natural follow-up responses.
