Gone are the days when they tell you "Land keeps appreciating", the insecurity in naija doesn't allow for lots of diversity in landed properties today. It is better to buy property in a choice location with COfO at reasonable price than go and buy land inside a bush and wait 20 years for development to enter the area, often at-times stories go begin enter the land.

Greedy men everywia, I rather eat my sweat than allow some local land re-sellers use my money to drink pepper soup.

I recently sold a land that i bough at N3m in ibeju Lekki in 2011 at N3.5 million due to stories that were sounding like pasuma music to my ears, i have decided to eat peppersoup with the money until it finishes. A plate of peppersoup currently goes for N1,200, that means i can eat 2,916 plates of peppersoup grin.
What plate are you on now? shocked
I like peppersoup too grin

Acidosis:
3m plot of land + fence and CofO for 4M? That's impossible. Survey in Ogun states goes for 250-500k. And getting a survey is just one step to obtaining a CofO o.

Besides, why would anyone risk a 4M plot of land for a "paltry" 8M after 7 years when TBills at compounded interest rate (13.57%) would yield 9.8M over the same 7 year period?

That's a terrible investment decision even without being aware of the risk factors (land grabbers, legal issues, stress of getting a new buyer, agency fees, etc.)
Very valid concerns but I think you would agree that buying the land from established real estate companies would extirpate majority of these risks.

Hit the gym. 6 months of every day abs exercises plus a complete change of diet: more proteins, veggies, fruits, and good fat. Less carbs.

Dear reader,

The times of suffering truly make you grow. You could be well prepped up for something and still fail at it. In life, you can’t decide the kinds of storms or winds you come up against but you could choose how gritty you want to be in those situations.

You won’t be the first to go through a heartbreak, stay jobless and broke, get depressed, or be in sickness. Brush yourself up, keep fighting, keep pushing, and never give up!

Its actually the dumbest thing Buhari has done in the last five years!
Why not just allow hiim to "vent and get spent" instead of making him even more popular?

Why portray your Govt as a despotic Dictatorship?
Why provide a unifying and rallying point for those who are already calling you "Grand Cluelessness", going by what is going on?

And why do these at a time why the Shiite, Boko haram, the whole Southern Nigeria are all againt this your RUGA and Fulanisation agenda?

Honestly, you can say Buhari is honest and Mr. integrity but please dont ever say he is intelligent or his "cabal" are intelligent.
I love your comments but I don't really like to dabble into political discourse. I wasn't particularly impressed with how the DSS interpreted the intentions of the 'proposed protest'. Even if the word 'revolution' wasn't used, there was going to be some other reasons for Sowore's arrest.

Hmmm... I think Nigeria will actually get better in some few years to come. It's surely not gonna be an easy or smooth ride, but it will definitely happen.... People are waking up already and calling these thieves in power to order. People are now having the courage to face these heartless criminals not even minding if they lose their lives in the process.... Believe me, a true change is imminent in Nigeria. Sowore is an example of a great leader and i think he is going to be our Mandela here in Nigeria. Just tonight on Twitter, I saw a video clip of him sometimes ago. In the video clip, he said if it would cost him his blood to make sure Nigeria is delivered, so be it. And i also kinda believe his arrest was actually a trap he set for Buhari and he foolishly fell for the trap... Of course he must have known he was gonna be arrested already and I'm sure he has a game plan. Y'all should write this down, if Sowore should die in that Custody, it's gonna spell total doom for Buhari's government. Also note that there are several people out there too who are now desperate as Sowore is now and will all be rising up soon... Y'all see what Shites members arw doing presently? That's a show of bravery and very soon, many Nigerians will do exactly that and even more to these evil people.... Nigerians have had enough!
The news is on BBC. The international eyes are in Nigeria already. Its like a chess game.

this is a figure of speech, did you go to school at all that you cant comprehend the context to which i used the word 'poor'.
Thank you for observation about my educational status. I know of 'a poor man's sth' and 'poor thing' which are crystal clear colloquialisms. Perhaps you may educate me further on the idiom 'poor man' with references so I could learn a thing or two from you.
