Hello everyone,

I'm looking to assess with TRA in the hope that my intended occupation would atleast be open in 2 states by the time I'm ready to send in my EOI and state nominations.

My options (closely related occupations) are:

1. H/W Technician (open for TAS, open for SA too but now requires high points due to recent changes)

2. ICT Customer Support Officer (open for SA)

3. ICT Support Technician nec (open for SA)

PS. I didn't include regions requiring a prior job offer

An outside option is Telecoms Linesworker which fits the bill (for availability in 2 states) and is open for NT (489 & 190) and Vic(190) but is not so closely related to my present work.

TRA takes quite some time to finish assessments of applications. I forsee some changes by that time too.

Gurus in the house, please advise.

I would love to hear from those who've have had experiences with any of those states too.

I'm hating on the over-hyping English media so I'd rather Croatia takes the trophy than England so that we go hear word.

Lol I've stopped listening to or watching any English media.

France or Belgium to win the trophy for me.

Now it's France vs Belgium; England vs Croatia. I would very much like to see France vs Croatia in the finals and Belgium for third place

I'm thinking a France Croatia final may be just be a one sided affair whereas a Belgium England final would be interesting to watch considering that both teams met in the group stages.

At this moment, any team can beat any team esp if it gets to penalties.

Lol those teams on the other side of the draw will be relishing any of the present 3 on this side. Belgium and France will comfortably beat England, Russia or Croatia.

But if Russia mistakenly get to the final, lol, anything can happen. cheesy

If only Drogba was still part of the Croatian team, he would have stopped that goal. That guy is one of the best defenders ever. I think Croatia will defeat Sweden in the semi finals though. IDK

Let me tell you what you may already know. People have personas, and while a smoker can curb his/her habit, a stingy person for example may not find it easy at all to change, unless the individual experiences an 'amazing' turnaround.

You're still with him obviously not because you purely love him. You're sort of at his mercy cohabiting with him. I may be wrong. PS. My own definition of love is, someone loving me regardless of my material possession, but that's not the point here.

Yes, it will require that 'amazing' turnaround which only he can facilitate. It will be be difficult as it's his core character to be that way, but it's possible as long he's willing to change.

When making your decision, forget the interim or whatever you're going through at the moment, think 10 years ahead. Is this the kind of person you want to put up with?

I don't know what your idea of a relationship is, because if you had one, you won't be putting up this post. So get a piece of paper, and write down what a relationship means to you. After that task, I'm sure you Will have all your answers.

For the first time, I'm not even leaning towards any team. I love either team to win. I'm just wary of France bullying Belgium (if Belgium eventually go through).

This is a very important thread but I'm sure it won't get the attention it deserves. I totally agree with you on people who are passion driven. I don't want to think it's a Nigerian thing. For some startups, bootstrapping is a necessity and the team must be prepared to suffer in that initial stage.

I know so well what yeyerolling was alluding to, and it demotivates a team big time. You can't claim to be a head and you're giving all the bad signals with resource mismanagement. Red flag!!!

All the teams on this side of the WC are just not exciting enough for me. I thought Spain was going to qualify and Croatia was going to be swashbuckling.

We are in for a borefest with teams like England, Sweden, Croatia and Russia.

I love Belgium. I wish they didn't have to come through Brazil's route. If Brazil beats Belgium, the WC trophy would don yellow ribbons for sure.
