It may have escaped your notice, but the scheme you described is illegal, immoral and abhorrent. What is the money to be used for? Bribe the Director? Curry favor from a government agency or directorate? It is unfortunate that this type of behavior is generally accepted in Nigerian society today. In case you're wondering what you should have done, you should have stated clearly that this is an illegal act and you will not be involved in such a despicable scheme. If you have 350 - 500k laying around, why not start a business or invest in something? If bribery is what it takes to get a govt agency job, you should abstain, maintain your honor and prevent any blemish to your conscience.

Just the comment I was looking for. I've always doubted if I truly belong to this society.

I recall back then in elementary school, Valentine's day was always a showoff of between who could get their gfs or crush the best gifts. That whole concept appeared weird to me.

Fast forward to Uni days, I had this female friend, and I understand when it's her birthday, she's wants a gift, but when it's mine, it's always, "where are we turning up?" I still couldn't come to grasp with that either.

I don't like when people feel entitled. Even in a platonic relationship, some girls feel this way, now taking it a step further to a relationship, you'd expect everything to be amplified.

In the end, I've learnt not to complain. Compete, don't complain. You'd eventually find your type or you'd find someone close enough and make them your type. It's actually a man's world and I'm not trying to be a male chauvinist or anything, but I always try to communicate what I want in a relationship. At this stage, I won't break up with a girl unfairly until she gives me reasons to do so.

Relationships now are almost gender neutral. Men want gifts too, they need to be taken out too. I don't even think I can date a lady without a source of income because a broke lady cannot maintain a serious relationship. No offence to hardworking students.

Finally, there will be tradeoffs, I'm glad sex is the least of my worries in life but for guys who can't confidently say this, they would always be at the mercy of girls who would take advantage of them.

When you begin to realise how transient life is, you would be grateful for each passing moment. My first time in a chopper was blissful one but then when I think back to how people like Kobe and Vichai died, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I now believe that no news is good news.

I don't think people in their right minds would just wake up one day to kill another human. Baring any kind of external influence such as drugs, black magic etc, It would be nice to see the brain functions of murderers just before they take lives. Do they feel thrilled, excited or just vile anger?

Maybe we should start by defining what success is? It means different things to different people, but basically it aligns with self fulfillment. Whatever form of education that can bring about such desired state is key.

Well, I buy/sell. It doesn't stop me from educating people you know. It's been proven that it's a very good strategy to buy and hold for the long term rather than being bothered by short term fluctuations. People that hold will buy incrementally (using DCA) so they still get to buy. I don't expect ONLY hodlers to buy from me.

Yes, trading with caution is important. Don't invest money that you may need soon because of volatility. By the way, I was referring to BTC, not 'alts'.

PS.
Follow the 210k block theory, do a backtest, for every BTC that has been bought, there has always been a higher fiat value for the BTC value after 210k blocks. You could Google it.
