Of the two above, one is a trade lawyer who has been in WTO since 1990, the other was her country's perm. rep for six years and even chaired the WTO General Council.

NOI is known the world over for her track record and competence finance and development economics. That is the reason countries will always call on her.

But on this, the two have an edge over her, not because of anything else than trade background.

Ministry of finance is different from mistry of foreign affairs and trade.

Those of us who have been following Nigerian politics b4 d advent of social media know d extent of Yoruba hatred for Igbos.They whole campaign against GEJ in Yoruba land was that he was favoring Igbos meanwhile GEJ and PDP zoned d speaker of HOR to d south west but Tinubu connived with ACN reps to Dash it to Tambuwal.
They have turned what should be a healthy competition and learning from each other into full blown hatred.Here in Abuja,the only place you see them is where govt money is being shared plus legal practice which in Abuja also thrives on sharing of govt money.If you see any business anywhere in Abj,it is rarely a Yoruba,the Idomas who are less than half a state has more presence in business in Abj compared to the Yorubas with 6 states and parts of Kogi,Kwara and Edo.
They also try to co-opt other tribes into that hatred of Igbos with propaganda eg d notion that Igbos are after Niger delta oil when it is d Yorubas and hausa/Fulani that've been sharing d meaningful oil industry jobs since after d civil war.
In Lagos,despite d fact they have d advantage of language, filial relationship with majority of d customers who are majority yorubas,they have refused to understudy Igbo dominated business and keying in,they prefer to assume d role of tax collectors(crumbs) and claim 'our land'.
Watch out d derogatory comments about Igbos that keep falling out of the mouth prominent yorubas like tinubu,his wife,oba lil wayne,late ajimobi etc and you wonder what they say and plan in privacy.You hardly see Igbos of such societal standing talk derisively about Yorubas.
Thank God for social media,nobody has d monopoly of information or insults again.
