This is about love, respect and admiration for a man that stood taller than any Nigerian but not so recognized. Please no hate, show appreciation |
Can anyone believe Nigeria is the only country in the world that fought civil war, did reconstruction, rehabilitation and remained potential Regional Power. Without borrowing a kobo. Under a genius that became the Best President Nigeria Never Had said Emeka Ojukwu. |
OBJ made a mistake by inviting Dokunbo Asari to Aso Rock |
The bottom line here for Nzeogwu, Ojukwu, Kanu, Ekpa is creating rebels that want to go scotfree after taking up arms, use of force and mutilation rather than building bridges for votes to get power. Even Ndi Igbo lovers are tired of the loss of lives. Sunday Igboho narrowly escaped elimination, Maitamasine, others before Boko Haram and after faced force with force. We are encouraging militias with amnesty and contracts. |
The fact is the same drugs do not work equally for all people. Your doctor or pharmacist may prescribe something different. The same is true of herbal remedies. For now continue to avoid hard food as you indicated. Eat more fish if you can, fruits and vegetables until you feel better. Drink more fluid and pap. |

A graduate, even with a PhD can hardly afford to marry an Igbo lady on the same level by the time the bride price is calculated. The business men with far less education are richer. They can afford any Igbo woman and pay for what was spent on her education. Smartguyboy: |
Yoruba Ladies Are The Ultimate Wives Why are Yoruba ladies so cocky superficially but graceful inside? It is confidence! Be sure of yourself before even asking one for a date. Yoruba men know better than to ask a Yoruba lady above their standard for marriage. If you want to, the best way to do it, is to court your school mate from primary school. Once she finishes high school, you may as well proceed to college or show high potential in order to marry her. In order words, Yoruba ladies seldom marry down. If they do, consider yourself very lucky. It is a fact that Yoruba ladies were the first to defy the norm in many cultures and marry men of their choice outside their ethnic group. We still remember when Yoruba ladies would not dare. While other men from different ethnic groups and cultures still have a hold on their ladies, most Yoruba men learn long time ago that they dare not tell most Yoruba ladies who to marry. Other ladies are not even allowed to marry outside their own clan from proximate villages. So some Hausa and Igbo men are still cranky about their ladies marrying outside, especially to Yoruba men. They will learn just as most Yoruba men did that ladies have come a long way and no Yoruba, Igbo and lately Hausa men can control liberated and well informed ladies. It is not your place, so don’t even try. Mind you, while inter-ethnic marriages have been encouraged by politicians for national unity, some find it hard to give their daughters away to other cultures. https://www.modernghana.com/news/828884/yoruba-ladies-are-the-ultimate-wives.html |
Las Las, the praise of educated Igbo women modesty by the writer is right on. He was not ethnic bashing. Almaigaa: |
Chei, you mean we cannot praise educated women again for their modesty. Na wa o! The article was published on Igbo website 5 years ago. crossfm: |
Igbo Women Marry Down But Only Within Ndi-Igbo There are good women everywhere but there are certain virtue you observe in most Igbo ladies that you do not often see in other women. It is when Igbo ladies marry only within their ethnic group; they are more willing than most ethnic groups to marry down. Most Yoruba ladies would not marry below their “level” unless some circumstances demand it. In the case of Hausa ladies, their families usually introduce them to men above their level. Other ethnic groups may vary. What is even more surprising is why well-informed Igbo ladies would be willing to marry Ogbete Igbo men when they could do better! Some of us are so envious when we see a well-rounded lady being followed by one of our brothers. You can bet that she is Igbo! The same lady would never consider anyone outside of her ethnic group on the same level with our brother. It baffles some of us. We must ask what it is that makes modest Igbo men score so high with Igbo ladies! https://www.theoasisreporters.com/virtues-in-most-igbo-ladies-and-why-modest-igbo-men-score-so-high-with-them-as-partners/ |
Africans endemic problems known but without will and discipline for cure. |
Congratulations! Africans break academic and other records all the time overseas. Only Nigerians chest beat and celebrate as if they are the only ones, creating unnecessary attention to themselves. This has derailed chances and careers from jealous colleagues. If Nigerians are so brilliant and resourceful, why is their villages, towns and country barren dumps? They have to "develop" others backyard but their own. Attract your talents and others home with tolerance, peaceful co-existence and accommodating behavior within you and outside. Instead of beating your chests when the sun rises. |
Look at how a single appointment has turned to Igbo chest beating and celebration. You people nor dey shame ? They are asking if any Igbo appointment in Oyo. Go do your findings. Them boku in Oyo Government and private industries before you were born. Nothing to celebrate. |
Congratulations. Good move by Ndi-Igbo. For every Yoruba hired in the East, the West must hire one Igbo. And fire all the Igbo in the West until it equals one to one. Until then, Igbo must get their mobile homes ready to head to the East. Let us know when it equals 100 to 100 hires. |
Charity begins at home. You should lead the way and let your states become as attractive as other place you mentioned. Then elect one of the people you tolerate and accommodate to lead you. That is the time to pocket your hate and beat your chest. Since when have you become Unity Beggars in exchange for the same Lagos that voted for your Presidential candidate Antiurchins: |
You cannot blame Western Ursupers for stealing African Sciences, publish them in their journals as if they made the original discoveries. We must be sincere, the only time Africans accept anything African is when it has been rebranded by the West. Even our Science textbooks and laboratories are designed to Western standard. Whereas Western professors lately and before spent their summer holidays in African hospitals and fields in the bushes studying tropical diseases, our students know little about. Unless these are children of local medicine-men. Even these children, after attaining the highest academic standards, do not publish. There are more fake publishers like the cure for AIDS and Covid-19 than the real cures. When they Japa, they have nothing unique to contribute except cram and paste Western Sciences. |

Just like those who seek equity must come with clean hands; you cannot win battle with a history of perpetual loss. Force, Shakara, Chest beating and exaggerated statistics have their limits. Conquered by Igala, Ijaw, Bini and repelled by a few makeshift ragtag soldiers at Ore under a captain or a major should have been a life lesson. Brothers and sisters make peace, love and build bridges not wars you have never won. |
Where is the money used in defending naira coming from, is it exhaustive? |
Each time I see him, he appears humble. I remember when he was walking alone from or to his house in VI. But I trust ime papa teach am well. He get security all around him. Dowo lobi iya okere. Tri am and see pepper |
No what, what is the pretty printed paper used for? If they save the printed paper offshore or invest it in foreign countries, the effect is still the same. We are now on the same page, bro. Selfish Nigerians must stop playing hide and seek as if there are some complicated skill acquired in ivory towers to tackle the greed of reckless DEMAND for US dollars. Even during control and restrictions like every Western country, some powerful Nigerians still traded in Black markets. But note that only Africans are reckless with foreign currencies because they accumulate them easily. Who else would risk jail for money laundering in a foreign country or abandon millions in Europe or American dollars but Africans. Raheeqilmaktoom: |
Yes, it is true that Nigerians hardly pay taxes but if they do, it cannot strengthen the naira. Let us cut the chase. It is a matter of supply and demand. They cannot satisfy the demand for foreign currencies. Yes, it is what the printed paper can buy that increases the demand for foreign goods and services. What is wrong with our goods and services after 60 years? The only time we had one naira to one and a half American dollars or when we had pound to British pound was when control was in place. We must curb DEMAND for foreign currencies used to buy used goods, pins, pencils, foreign cotton materials has killed our clothing industries. Our London, Ijebu, Okrika tailors and designers are not replaced. We are choking on foreign currencies to pays taxes on humongous houses and foreign schools where our children learn different accents or culture disrespecting ours. |
Ambulance chasers from the Western countries. This is how they praised Structural Adjustment. May God save Tinubu, may God save our Country |
This was how we were captured as slaves exchanging mirrors for gold. We are now dying for printed papers from other countries out of greed and avarice. Naira has slumped and there is no end in sight. Goodwill and benefit of doubt to the President for the sake of Nigeria. |
Most Nigerians know the difference between Dashiki a casual wear, Boubou and Agbada. Going by some opinions here, we might as well say the Romans created Agbada or the Egyptian or Jews by Jesus robes! I hope no one will dispute that Aso Oke passed from one generation to another is closer to Agbada than Boubou, Danshiki or the ancient Robes worn by Europeans. Who is going to dispute Aso Oke with Kembe similarity with Agbada? Some people are ready to give Yoruba inventions to any where around the world but their own neighbors in the same area. |
Does Nigeria print foreign currencies or fake currencies enough to supply the demand of Nigerians for foreign currencies? Nobody can justify two rates. One for the well connected and another for average Nigerians that need it for various reasons. No country in the world float its currency without control. In the USA, Canada, Britain etc various banks have slightly different rates, even retailer money exchange rates at their airports. USA Federal Reserve manipulates rate the same way Nigeria Central Bank does through buying, selling and political accusation of other countries. China does not listen to them and manipulates its rate. But USA print enough dollars to satisfy buyers around the world including Chinese and Nigerians. Who buys Naira around the world to float it like Zimbabwe dollars? Stop fooling people as if there is an economic skill to make Naira stronger. Since Naira has been going down, has it ever gone up? Black markets existed in Nigeria even when it was illegal. The problem of round tripping is so serious in Nigeria without consequences that even the Governor of Central Bank has his own shops. No country, I repeat, no country allow its currency to float aimlessly without control. If you know any African country that has recovered from floating, tell us. |
See me see trouble o. Just for giving you legs up. The 100 years is coming down to 10 or 5 years Lease in the new law. This land tin pain una, no be small. Sweet land nor dey una side? |
Check your papers well well. If you bought land in Western Nigeria, it reverts back after 100 years. So those who bought in 19 century were no longer owners in the 20th century. Those who bought in the 20th century, I feel sorry for you beating your chests. |
Nigerians and fake naira abi na fake dollars sef. Just to mastubate on after election. Fake medicine after death. |
