The end of great countries and Empires usually come after the coronation of a leader with insatiable greed or obsession for money and power in disguise for common good. These leaders campaign as if they are godsend to revitalize and clean up their domain. When elected, they crush the Opposition and repress any dissenter that sees situations differently.

You may then realize why they desire power and money so desperately. They want control of both in their mischievous ways. Yet, there is nothing more beautiful and gratifying than Money or Power separately. Each has been used to rectify injustice, poverty, wrong and cruelty of man against man. Powerful people do not need money to actualize common good just as rich people realize money is not enough to buy them happiness.

Most individuals should be satisfied with either money or power. Each is enough to further the interest of civilized societies. Those looking desperately for the concentration of money and power to rule humanity are up to miserable ends. It must be admitted that a few men and women, without reckless pursuit of power or money, have implemented benevolent measures.

There are many more bachelors well beyond the age of marriage in any society today than ever but they refuse to take the jump for fear of rendering responsibility to many young women without husbands. It is not about mothers who would not let their sons leave home or the economic and political situations that has made them underemployed or unemployed. Even those young men, who have good jobs or prospects, procrastinate about getting married.

As if we do not have enough competition between men for that woman or between women for that man, some of these young men hide under the wrapper of some married women. Why should they marry if they are getting it by succumbing to married women’s tender care? The fact is if they are getting it from girlfriends, she expects commitment to marriage in return but with a married woman, there is no responsibility whatsoever. So do not blame it on the young girl who gives it out in order to can keep him. Retaining virginity for marriage is mostly a passé.

Let us face it. The infatuation with older women started before he becomes a man. Most men learned the intricacies of sex from an older lady. What has changed these days is the drive towards equality that has rewarded women in the work place with money and power. As men get used to the power of women, they feel more comfortable reporting them for taking advantage, without being laughed at. More important is the fact that there is a tendency for equal punishment for abuse by either sex. Before that, men will deride men who report ladies.

There are more reports of female teachers abusing their students these days. In those days, teachers were generous trophies lucky students bragged about. This used to be the field men specialized in and were severely punished for. So it is not that these seducing women suddenly arrived from Mars. It is now clear that the fantasizing was not on the part of students alone, some pretty teachers also dream about their male students.

All the focus on women started when studies kept on substantiating the fact that more and more married women are cheating on their spouse equally as men, especially in the workplace. In 1953 study of Alfred Kinsley about 50% of men and 26% of women cheated on their spouse. Compare that to Ball State University study in 1997 that found that 50% of both sexes under the age of 40 years were likely to cheat. So women were just conditioned to be less assertive.

Married women do it for the same reason married men do it. Focus and details may differ but it boils down to money and power. Men do it because they can, and women do it because they can’t? There are all kinds of theories that men do it for sex and women do it for love. Bull! A compulsive cheater will always cheat without self control when the environment is right and they are at advantage. But why deny a single sister hers when you have already married yours?

Because women would marry that man for the security and the maturity he provides for her and her children. No matter what, those married women who go after a single man may know very well that he may not be able to provide for all their needs but she will settle for that single man’s well endowed body carved in her head. Some men and women just cannot take their eyes off a hot body hoping and waiting for the right time to strike. Women may first display their colored fins or tails in such a way to get attention like their animal cousins.

Moreover, women have certain gifts that are hardly displaced by men; they are not sloppy and are more discreet. That is one of the reasons they got away with taking advantage of the poor weaker sex for so long. These days always, they live longer but can now stay pretty for ages. With all the improvement in sciences, they can also get frozen sperm or in vitro fertilization for that young kid who is worried about not becoming a father.

While about 65% of women fear that their men may fall in love with someone else, which is their main problem, 53% of men care more about losing their wives to sexual partners. Indeed, men sigh of relief when they found out that their wives’ sexual partner is a female, but may kill if it is a male. That may have something to do with the fantasy of joining both females in bed as if he can please both at the same time.

The young single women could not have had worse competitors. You cannot claim what does not belong to you and may even upset what you dearly wish for if you raised hell. If she raised hell with the young man’s member of the family it might be seen as being possessive and the last place she would raise hell was with the husband of the married woman. She might get the boyfriend into trouble and destroy another home. That is why many suffer in silence out of view.

On the other hand, single girls
the other hand, single girls who compete for married man are labeled home wreckers. Their case is so obvious, nobody pities them. Some would wish the worst of calamities fall on them. If they accept the role of the second or third wife, they are no more single ladies. They are bona fide women expected to play the role of honey, emi oga.

Indeed, this topic could as well be Married Men Who Contribute to the Numbers of Spinsters. But in view of the fact that unmarried women are increasing outnumbering men in most of our societies, difference must be accorded in favor of single women. It is the men who would buy expensive gift for their wives after cheating on her. (I wonder what those women who do not cook anymore buy their men). Men are even allowed by religions and cultures to have more than one woman as long as he can provide for each and love them equally.

As the advantages mount on the other side of the coin, some married women have increased their grab to single men. It must be fairly stated that some married women who want to cheat as men do prefer other married men because of immaturity of single men or the fear that they may become possessive and dislocate their stable marriage.

Love is a beautiful cure for all evils while money can be the root of all evils. Humans live and survive on love by amicable relationships to sustain civil societies. Others prefer a miserable life with money than a happy life without money because they think it is much easier to buy happiness with money. They do not believe those lottery winners that wished they could go back to what they were, because they became miserable with their money.

Unfortunately, it is also true of countries whose problem is how to spend income from natural resources and endowment that became a curse, not how to make money. Once brotherly love, caring as one another's keeper are missing in our cultures, the race to the bottom is in sight. So brothers and sisters destroy one another for money. Opportunists seize on people's greed for money to demand what was an abomination some years before.

This has been demonstrated in hyperinflation countries that have over extended themselves. We should accumulate wealth from what we can produce, not by what we wish to acquire. Take a little kid to the candy store, he wants everything paid for by his parents because he has developed an entitlement mentality in his parents that they have the responsibility to cater for him if they loved him.

The problem with an individual, a family and a country starts from home. If love without conditions, rewards or loyalty out of duty are not instilled earlier; the love of money fills the vacuum that drives acquisition of immaterial products which depreciate in values. Some of these children have become disappointed because they think at least one of the parents should be able to meet more of their wants after giving them all they needed.

Root of Poverty

Otherwise that parent is stingy. But the children that are matured enough to get a skill, stay in school or start a business become self-sufficient because they were not expecting manna from heaven. Anything they get from their country or parents becomes an additional blessing. Papa and Mama may have, God bless the child that has her own. Love can buy money but you cannot buy love with money. There is very little love cannot buy.

People forget how happy we were when children were resourceful making their toys locally. Most of these toys have disappeared due to lack of local imagination since big boys can easily import their toys. The difference between (men's) big boys and children's toys is the size of their shoes and price of their toys.

One of the surprising tangibles love can capture is character. As long as a desirable character remains, love is durable as in old friendships, not necessarily marriage or between opposite sex. This type of character may come in the form of trust. We find this in long term employees or employers. If you love your job, you probably love the people and the environment. Haven't you seen old people taking unpaid positions at their old job or the job they wish they had?

Some of us do not realize there are those willing to starve to death to gain power rather than gain money as in North Korea. So are those willing to fight eternally for religion rather than money because they believe the reward is greater in heaven or as in Afghanistan. These days if you do not have money printed in Europe or America, your money may turn out to be less valuable than toilet paper. These are the only places you can spend Euros, pounds and American dollars.

Your love for money in your local currency cannot even buy one tenth as much as these foreign currencies. So, when we talk about money, we have to explain where the money is printed. Money you have to kill for is not yours. The only money you earn through what you produce and locally dictate the price for international market, is the one that stays with you. Otherwise, you have to sell all the properties and resources you have to keep up.

When you hear that most of the money Americans and Europeans spend in foreign countries do not even leave their countries because only European and American contractors can get the money to buy American and European goods and services, you may understand that your local markets are only good as suppliers of raw materials. If your raw materials are bought for a dollar and the finished products are sold back to you for a hundred dollars, you have little left.

So what good is the foreign money you worship? Sooner than later, your resources would be exhausted. We already know that the love of money drives people crazy. It is an obsession like that of an addict to acquire recklessly no matter whose ox is gored. We can call it obsession, infatuation or compulsion to differentiate it from love but it drives you crazy the same way as being in love with foreign exploiters’ money, if she or he doesn't love you back.

Love can be more attractive than money because no matter what, love can sustain and fulfill our desires. Of course, it can be argued that love would dry up without money. But money is only one of the characteristics that love can capture. It could be the swagger, the bad girl or boy image, the look or the way he or she looks that is so attractive and “fanimorous”; not the money that lost the competition.

The person or people that hold love that is desired are not necessarily the ones with money or power. Yet, most are willing to trade their money for one or the other. You must have heard about trade by batter. It can be so intense, jealous humans, facing the threat or possibility of being displaced from a loved one can also kill. Can you trade your love for money, power, companion, escort, security or peace of mind?

Indeed, men have come out openly asking to be loved, if not for him, love him for his money. So women and toy boys have used their promised love to capture moneybags who want to be loved. It is a miserable day in hell if you cannot get anyone to love you for either your money or for what you are.

DEMOCRACY STUCK BETWEEN EASTERN & WESTERN TALIBANS

The reasons liberal democracy parties lost many electrons in the Western world has to do with how conservatives push hot emotional issues as self preservation of cultures. These hot button issues are not limited to immigration, crime, gun, abortion, and veiled class or caste system. But they are enough to dispossess the middle class and exploit the lower class voting against their own interests.

What we see in Western democracy recently is intolerance for opposite views and their determination to impose minority ideology even when they lost majority votes. Extreme right wing conservatives have driven moderate members out of parties controlled by extremist conservative Talibans. The days of reasonable discussion within the same conservative parties are coming to an end unless the pendulum swings back to civilized discussion where reasonable people do disagree without being disagreeable.

Who would expect that liberal democracy would take so much assault, not only from conservatives but from right wing extremists whose only goal is to rule like the Taliban? Well, there were so many warnings, we were either ignoring them or playing them down. Privileged vocal minorities on the extreme right are so powerful, they can impose their views with impunity for what those on the extreme left can never get away with.

Liberal democracy is fighting for survival all over the world, mainly between Taliban in the East and Conservative Taliban in the West. Democracy is in intensive care units bleeding profusely. This very existential threat from communists and conservatives Taliban is precarious not only for women they disrespect but for Union negotiating power that had propelled most into the middle class. Yet, they take out their frustrations on whoever, except the rich against Unions.

These conservative Talibans in the Western countries preach limited government to avoid intrusions in our lives only to act otherwise. Their gut opposition to taxes can also be attractive to the silent majority that make average income. But those advocating limited taxes fund organizations to legalize loopholes for the richest and corporations so that they could pay little taxes while enjoying the infrastructure and safety protections paid for out of collective taxes.

The communists used to be the ardent preachers of democracy, workers' rights and equality. As soon as they got into power they became worse than their old rulers by rigging elections, oppressing the bourgeoisie, the wealthy and royalty. Only to indulge themselves in worse opulence than the bureaucrats they replaced. Communist leaders became a class by themselves, demonstrating little tolerance for the opposition.

Like the communists, as soon as conservatives gained control of government by any means, including suppression of votes, they came out in their true colors with the worst intrusions into our private lives and business. What is worse is how conservative project their mean spirited moral actions on their opponents. They preach against abortion even at conception knowing full well, even their wives and daughters will abort for many reasons including rape and incest.

Take this feverish opposition to abortion for example. The fanatics among them actually burnt down some clinics and shot medical personnels in the name of protecting fetuses that were not viable. They are ready to take lives in the name of unviable conceptions that if ever carried to term, would be denied social and economic benefits for sustainability. They denied little children many means of sustenance and survival.

When men that have never been pregnant claim women should know by six weeks if they are pregnant, they base it on religious or moral values. Until rIch women become victims of rape, incest or genetic defects, they do see justified abortions for themselves or their daughters but not for desperate or poor women. Though wealthy women have access to abortions once they become victims like poor women, their past moral opposition become irrelevant.

Indeed, as most Western countries increase daycare and benefits for children of the middle class, conservatives want a pre-emptive strike into the treasury to reduce the amount available for benefits so that they can increase tax cuts to the rich and corporate welfare bums. It is the only time they do not care or cry about the deficit.

African Youths that refused to fight their own Talibans at home embrace conservative ideology. They hoped it would help them relocate and become part of the token few used against those before them abroad. They later find out they are not different from those before in Diaspora when they run into Western and Eastern Talibans. Your experience in the Mediterranean coast and desert will be repeated by communist and conservative Taliban abroad, even if you sell out and call those that look like you lazy.

There are emotional issues that everybody across party lines care about. This is why conservatives link immigration with crimes during elections. Crimes breed when there are no other means of survival, out of greed and hatred for fellow humans. Yet, the most venomous crimes like mass murders and enslavement in the 21st Century are not exclusive to a certain class but can be committed in plain sight by the privileged class and with impunity.

It is naive to think that most married women would see the situation differently from the privileged husbands. They would not deny their male children the privilege enjoyed by their men in the position of power, over their own daughters. It is an uphill battle for families to compete in the world market today without the active participation of informed women.

In a study, a few female teachers, some of whom are activists, could not believe they allocated different privileges to boys in their classes. If some of the majority votes come from women or some ethnic base, conservatives make it harder for them to vote. As more men realize equality is in the interest of all, more of them are taking paternity leave after birth by their wives, some of whom are in higher positions at work.

Soul searching and the liberalization of old conservative ideas by reasonable members may not come soon enough in the immediate elections but a process of sensitization of the public to the dangerous trends of obtaining electoral power by odious regulations, threats and violence against majority votes belong to past centuries.

MOST LADIES AT WORK OR COLLEGES ATTRACT DESIRED LOVER

Dating has become a puzzle. Men are actually confused by the new etiquette that dictates amorous relationships. So are ladies that have to tread carefully before they step on sharks. Yet, sexual harassment have to be enforced at work and in colleges. We cannot allow young ladies seeking promotions and education to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous men. No, no longer means maybe.

There are some basic needs like food, shelter and sex at matured age. By the time most people attain working age or are old enough to attend college sexual attraction between men and women are part of normal behavior. Nevertheless, humans have norms and culture that differentiate man from a beast. Certain custom must be adhered to before you engage a lady for sex. Violation of those rules of engagement have led to confusion in today's free society.

Employers spend good money on sexual harassment training, yet some senior employees who should known better still engage in office amorous relationships. Even worse are managers that have everything to lose and very little to gain when friendships turn sour. Colleges also have regulations against undesired relationships especially between undergraduate students and professors. No matter how schools and employers try, women are still highly disproportionately taken advantage of.

However, some of these relationships result in marriage. When it does, nobody complains. If anything goes wrong like any other relationships, there is a price to pay by the senior partner. The saying that hell has no fury like a scorned woman is also true of rejected men, usually in position to be more vengeful than women. While there are many stars in the sky and many fishes in the sea, nobody should be dropped easily into a disposable basket.

Wherever men and ladies study or work together, it takes discipline and self control to stay out of temptations. Nobody can be perfect. Innocent moves can be easily misconstrued. There is a saying that whenever there are men and women, toto and preek must jam. Since men always have advantageous relationships, women are more subjected to unfair bargains.

Stricter regulations such as women's hostels, workspaces and control of their environment have not stopped some of the abuses. There are people coming out to advocate such drastic and uncivil action as the Taliban measures to separate men and women. Of course, rejected outright by most women. This is more in line with control and a worse form of women abuse that favors and keeps men in powerful positions.

It must be made clear that sexual harassment and abuse of ladies is real. It has devastated the careers and opportunities ladies could have had for generations. There was a time highly qualified professional ladies were not allowed to practise, could not get a job or resigned to being underemployed. We still encounter traces of these around the world, especially in very conservative religious societies.

While young men complain that the odds are stacked against them, ladies have been very careful about losing the equity they have worked for or inherited, especially to men that may later leave them. So there are ladies that would not let the boyfriend or husband know that the house they live in belongs to her, while he pays the rent.

However, there are some boys and men that are helpless today whenever a lady misconstrued a boisterous move and make allegations of sexual harassment. Though far more ladies suffer real abuse than men, it does not negate the destruction of reputation and careers of those innocent boys and men. Even after they have been cleared of any wrongdoing, they are still damaged.

Sexual harassment anywhere, especially in the workplace cannot be denied. But it has also been used for power struggle or play by women against women leaving the men supporters of one lady against the other susceptible casualties. Unlike ladies, men cannot sue in the court of law successfully. Damn if the employers investigate false claims and damn if they don't.

During college days, there were girls that preferred wild parties and those that would not touch certain wild circles with a 100ft pole. Boys knew which of the girls they preferred to be with. So, no one can claim he or she did not know who they were getting married to after attending wild parties in the same school. No, you were not caught by surprise.

Up to the 80s, the hippies were free livers that experimented with various activities including dope and sexual enhancement drugs. While it is true that most of these drugs are supplied by men, a few ladies brought theirs or prefer men with such drugs. Do not come back and claim you were drugged involuntarily at a party when others know you to be a member of those gangs that accepted their weird initiations.

Any of those drugs, no matter how long ago, is enough to convict a man for using them at parties or privately with a lady today as demonstrated by court cases and sentences of hard jail time. If you have a deep pocket, you may get a lawyer to defend you but if you are an average college student or office manager, you are on your own with stained careers.

The worst men victims are usually the rich or successful ones. Most ladies have nothing to prove if in the company of poor unsuccessful creeps that abused them lately or in the past. They do not even want to be associated with those losers anymore. Yet, there are more of these in their lives than a couple of successful men they go after with a vengeance.

Arabs wants US boots to fight their fight. Vice-President Biden, despite his apology was right on. He understood there was no sure bet in sectarian civil war. He ridiculed the claims that Obama could have acted sooner by supplying arms to unreliable rebels in Syria that included ISIS. Those stinger missiles sought could have been used against American planes today.

If Saudi Arabia and other neighboring countries that were funding and arming the Sunni ISIL rebels in Syria did not realize fanatics are coming back to hunt their interest, who in America knows more? These are militias called moderates yesterday that have turned terrorists today. The best Arabs United States could arm were Iraqis that got trained, with the best American made arms; only to turn it over to ISIL since they were Sunni that Shiite Maliki marginalized.

Obama finds himself in the position of being criticized left, right and center. If Obama feels like everyone has turned against him. There is this consolation for Obama. Take heart, anti-War demonstrators are not out, yet. Even Americans that do not want boots on the ground, gives him little credit for his achievements. Criticism by Jimmy Carter hurts more because he thinks Obama waited too long to attack ISIS but agreed Americans boots should not put on the ground.

The only time people go to war is when we cannot resolve our differences. Conservatives create wars outside and breed more enemies in prisons than in school by oppression of minorities and some majority for Liberals to ameliorate. We resort to force short of exhausting our civilized manners and refused to appease or give a way out of any conflict. Conservatives everywhere are willing to humiliate and exaggerate their prowess on complex problem with simple answers.

Conservatives in the Middle East are no different to Conservatives in America. They both think they can achieve their goals by force. No matter how many times they have been proven wrong, they use force as easy solution to every problem if they cannot get their ways. Liberals clean up their mess after simple solution failed. Conservatives belief in religion is so strong, it’s the cause of mass destruction. They still think of Crusade or Jihad, Catholics or Protestants, Sunni or Shiite.

Shooting from the hip better than Obama’s deliberative and professorial skills on critical issues an albatross? He got chemicals out of Syria without firing shots, critics focused on imaginary red line both sides breached. He got Iraq Prime Minister Maliki to step down for alienating Sunni, a partner during the Surge. If you don’t turn off the gas the fire won’t stop. The same Turkey that wants Assad gone before their soldiers will protect their own border, now allows a base for US.

The koko of the matter as we say in my neck of the hood, is the historical division within Muslim sects. It is the Sunni versus the Shiite sect fighting for political power today. The old differences started with succession of Prophet Mohammed. Sunni wanted any competent leader but Shiite also wanted a competent direct line of the Prophet, son in law. Majority of Iraq as Shiite were ruled by minority Sunni, Hussein. But the majority of Syria is Sunni rule by Shiite affiliated Assad.

Since majority of Iran are Shiite and the majority in Saudi Arabia are Sunni, they varied support for those affiliated to their sects. The majority of world Muslims are Sunni, their affiliations spill out to other Muslims around the region and around the world. Complicating matters more, the Kurds a minority in Turkey are affiliated with their Kurds brothers in Syria. As Sunni ISIS fight Kurds in Syria, the Kurds in Turkey want to help. But Turkey sees Kurds and Assad as enemies.

Critics claimed if American troops were there, they could have made a difference. Apart from keeping American troops there in perpetuity, the maximum amount of American troops that could have stayed were not enough to prevent the ISIS take over with the support of Iraqi Sunni. Maliki revenged at Sunni backfired. Yet they continue to blame Obama for not using American blood everywhere when their interest is to defend and enjoy their country first.

Each time Britain declines U.S.A invitation to go to war after learning its lesson from Iraq War, America understands. Each time U.K Mr. Cameron echoed President Obama message on how to deal with ISIL, Americans critics praised him but deride their President. Any country or empire that does not pick and chose its fights and spread itself too thin will spend all its resources on wars. No matter how powerful a lion within hyenas, it will be bitten everywhere until it dies.

Leone Panetta, a former confidant and CIA Director of Obama came out to sell a book against a seating President. CIA officers too have a way of kicking back when they think they have been thrown under the bus by the President, but a Director book is huge. Central Intelligence Agency has lost its most important role in this former Director. This is worse. Another former Director J. Hoover that leaked secrets has turned in his grave when Panetta came out with a tell-all book.

There is a reason most presidents surround themselves with friends and distance themselves from their foes. It takes a courageous man at the top to surround himself with ambitious men and rivals. It has advantages and disadvantages. What is surprising here is that most people have described Obama as too eager to compromise and too quick to let opponents know his stand on issue. It must have been difficult for those critiquing him today to find him resolute.

He was elected precisely because he was against the War. They make Obama look as highly stubborn on this position and principled on historical facts, even after listening to everybody. If he had taken their advice, Americans would be in Libya that spilled to Northern Nigeria as Boko Haram, into Yemen, Iraq, Iran and Syria. Sen. POOR BIDEN: BLAMED FOR AGREEMENT HE AND AFGHAN PRESIDENT NEVER SIGNED

Biden must accept responsibility for the mess he inherited as Americans quiver looking at the process in action. While it is true that Americans had enough wars around the world, they do not like "the way" the pull out is being implemented under President Biden. The end of wars have never been pretty. Even the separation and reunification of Germany before and after the Wars were not implemented without the loss of lives on all sides.

It was not Biden that surrendered to the Taliban and labelled it a Peace deal, like the ongoing one with Kim Joung Un of North Korea without the South Korean President. How soon we forget that it was the same Tony Blaire that rightly helped invade Afghanistan but then invaded Iraq under false pretense. Yet, he called President Biden implementation of his predecessor’s Peace deal with the Taliban already set in motion, imbecilic.

Americans never any execution of the Peace Agreement under the previous Administration other than smiles and pictures with the Taliba Terrorist leader himself. This idea that you can negotiate Peace by photo opportunities with North Korea without South Korea or the Taliban without the sitting President is absurd on its face. But then diplomats explore new ways. Nixon visited and made deals with the Communists he criticized vehemently. About face.

Where was Tony Blair when Trump negotiated without getting Americans, their Afghan aids out? It was Stephen Miller that sabotaged the immigration process for the Afghans before Biden assumed power. They are the same ones blaming the present Administration for the mess they created. Most Americans are not surprised because Politics and elections are no longer based on facts. It is who can outdo the other and call white, black in broad daylight.

Yoruba say you cannot shave a man's head in his absence. Again, how do you renegotiate with the Taliban without the Afghan President, his Army or representatives? President Biden was somehow supposed to reverse a deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan, a deal that had rendered its sitting President persona non grata. A deal based on not attacking American soldiers but silent on Afghans aiding them.

President Biden did not help either by expressing his frustration publicly that the President of Afghanistan fled and his Army surrendered. They were negotiated out of Power. What is surprising is that the President and his Army did not resign after the deal with the Taliban was signed but waited, hoping against hope that a new American Administration would save them with more American soldiers than the 2,500 already on the ground to be reduced to zero!

Even more amazing is that the same Monday morning quarterbacks are blaming Biden for the Agreement they made with the Taliban. America has become so divided on emotional issues these days, it is difficult to know the difference between liberal and conservative ideologies. You cannot castrate a sitting President in Afghanistan, hand power and backing to his opponents and blame poor incoming President Biden for the mess you created.

Biden, throughout his career in politics has never been at the extreme. If anything, he was more of a conservative Democrat. Those old enough may remember any Tunde, Dick and Harry could get elected in America by shouting their opposition to busing. Willie Brown in California and a few others saw through the gimmick and became neutral on busing.

It is worse right now. You can get elected, at least, during the primaries by declaring that you are against Covid-19 vaccines and masks! Even when you know very well that the disease is deadly and can kill. You still take your chances in politics. Hypocrisy has always been part of politics anywhere but there are honest and dignified men and women willing to lose their political careers as some conservatives did, than dance naked in the marketplace.

American politics is not just any game. They are not ideal but they produced Caesar Chavez, Lyndon Johnson and Martin Luther King that suffered the hard consequences of their actions. It is too early to count President Biden out. He can still get away with what Obama could not because of the color of his skin. It may be sad to say but folks, that is reality in America. They can’t scare most Americans with Biden as they did with Obama. Blacks won him the Primary.

Ask most people in the world who they would rather trust as world leading Superpower and the answer is America. Mind you, not because it is the best country to live in but because it can be challenged within by people of Goodwill willing to lose their lives in Protests that would eventually change the minds of most Americans. But those hiding under the banner of conservatism would always fight back. Voting Rights and Freedom are not permanent.

The blame against Biden is the number of American troops needed on the ground to boost morale of Afghan soldiers from deserting and keep negotiating peaceful evacuation of Americans and Afghans that want to leave. The problem for the Biden Administration is that 4,500 to 2,500 Americans soldiers are needed after the previous Administration had negotiated total pull out to keep their pledge of not attacking Americans, which may have held for about a year. How do you renegotiate that?

Some Americans think the President can dictate or renegotiate the terms of the Agreement with the Taliban otherwise use the same force that has not worked for 20 years. Even if more force can be used, it would be at the risk of more collateral damages of the same people they are trying to save: Americans, Afghans working for them and women that have gained more in 20 years. It boils down to Americans should have stayed longer to achieve "peace with honor" as promised in Vietnam. Three Presidents and American people had enough!

As most critics claimed that it was the implementation and execution of the Agreement with the Taliban they found faulty, what execution or implementation was done before Biden assumed office other than a booby trap for his next Administration? When you see people who got the Taliban leader released from Pakistan and took pictures with a terrorist; blaming the Biden Administration, you see hypocrisy at its height.

AFRICA MUST PREPARE FOR ANOTHER WAVE OF IDLE TERRORISTS FROM AFGHANISTAN

It does not meet reasonable expectations that Americans would stay in Afghanistan longer after defeating their Nemesis, Al Qaeda that shocked and turned most of the world against them for their colossal bombing. American people got tired of nation building after 20 years in Afghanistan at a cost of a Trillion dollars and thousands of lives lost. There is no pretty way to get out since Americans and their three Presidents wanted out. Enough Americans died there!

Africa must not be caught flat footed as the Taliban take over Afghanistan again. We have been forced to learn that once the soldiers of fortune and terror become idle in Lebanon, Iraq and Libya; they search for conquests in Africa. This was how Morocco invaded and destroyed the African Empire of Songhai. Libyan terrorists spread across Africa just as Boko Haram and ASWP had pledged allegiance to ISIS.

If Africans were so adamant about their culture and religion like the Afghans, even if we were crawling, African civilization would have been better off today after almost a century. This was when some Europeans were called Barbarians. Fetish is also common in foreign religions. It could have been sanitized by Africans, the excuses used to change religion.

The days of Crusaders and Jihadists belonged to ancient times but opportunists insist on Sharia that does not affect the privileged leaderships, to capture Africans regardless of our own religion or rich cultural heritage. The first sign of Taliban intolerance when they came to power in Afghanistan. Their 2001 decision to destroy the historic Buddha statues in Bamiyan province drew global condemnation.

Nobody in his right mind would condone the inhuman treatment of women by the Taliban in the areas that have fallen back to them in the name of Sharia, despite promises otherwise. Africans in most communities have come to realize the potential of girls trained to the highest educational standard. No country can tie one hand behind their backs and compete well in the world today.

Taliban gains on the battle ground may not translate into victory in a competitive world where women may be needed outside their homes to contribute to the success of their communities. Indeed, women have led the world's most successful countries out of economic recession and recently at the forefront against the most debilitating disease of our time. How could any rational country handicap itself by their denial of women's contribution?

The easy fall of Afghanistan into the hands of the Taliban is surprising to many of us but expected by some Americans familiar with the area. They claim the battle was lost some time ago after too many troop withdrawals. Though Americans did a great deal to reinforce the Afghan leaders' grip on power, they were helpless against endemic corruption that was crystal clear to the Afghan people.

As usual, corruption compromised efficiency that led to infighting and backbiting, opening the fault lines to the highest bidders as Taliban intelligence took advantage. Whenever people's selfish egos try to outdo one another, they seek the enemy's help. The adage of the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

It also confirms that no power even before the British in the 19th Century has been able to subdue the resilience fighters, proud of their culture and religion, no matter how outsiders consider them abhorrent. Foreign Armies are supporting forces, they come and eventually leave. You have to be willing to fight for your principles, not melt away when foreign soldiers leave. We saw this in Iraq against ISIS until the Iraqi Army got bold enough to fight at home.

However, the euphoria of another regional religious Sharia Power is attractive to those Africans looking for Salvation after they have lost hope and confidence in their own countries. Foreign religion is still attractive as egalitarian communities in Africa for recruits: a way to get out of a caste culture that relegated masses to Talikawa, Eru, Oru, Osu etc form of slavery.

In Africa, unlike Afghanistan, foreigners retain power with religious opium that is passed from one generation to the other. Some have postulated that Africans are sitting ducks that are defenseless against invaders since they also source and sell us our weapons. They would not sell us weapons that are effective against themselves. If anything, they sell us old discarded weapons they can easily crush.

Moreover, there are open invitations from African countries that intentionally leave their Northern borders open to Fulani, Babers and Arabs while closing Southern borders to indigenous Africans. This is the main entry route and encouragement for terrorists looking for the spoils of war through religious doctrine like Sharia.

A political expediency in Nigeria, where the masses are suffering the consequences of incessant terrorist attacks. We pay foreign suppliers of weapons and mercenaries a good percentage from our budgets, leaving little left for adequate welfare and care of Police and Soldiers, resulting in low morale and street extortion for bribes.

We saw what is going on in Afghanistan right now before in Iraq. As soon as the American Forces withdrew, ISIS filled up the vacuum and went through the Iraq borders into Syria. The leader of ISIS then declared himself the Muslim world leader asking all to pledge allegiance to him. Some of the ISIS terrorists crossed into Africa and pledged allegiance.

The difference between Iraq and Afghanistan is, while the American Forces went back and reinforced the Iraqi Army being supported by Iranians, the Russian Forces reinforced the Syrian Army. These forces including the Turkish Army were able to subdue ISIS. It does not exist in Afghanistan as neighboring China, Russia and Iran have recognized the Taliban.

This is why the return of Taliban in far away Afghanistan is a reason to be apprehensive of the repercussions in African countries. There is God everywhere that never discriminates against which land is holier than the other. Indeed, as a result of highly infectious diseases, countries have been advised to pray at home instead of besieging the holy lands of the Christians, Buddhism, Hinduism and Muslims.

Privileged class have no need for Olympics where only merits count. They have money to watch meritorious competitors in action.

No wonder, whenever women and Blacks have equal opportunities with the privileged class, they excel. Olympics Where Merits Beat Violent Acts That Secured Good Old Days Privilege

Are we going backwards into World Wars or moving to a more civilized atmosphere of solving our differences? The Olympics has taught us that the world can come together in the spirit of universal goodwill and compete successfully without privileged class or volatile behaviors leading to war to secure advantageous relationships.

As usual, the spirit of the just concluded Olympics demonstrated that man can still compete worldwide peacefully based on an equal playing field. Though African countries did not do as well as expected, our brothers and sisters that had the opportunity of an enabling environment excelled in each of the countries they represented. Someone quipped that if corruption was included in the 2020 Olympics, more Africans could have come home with Gold medals.

By building and encouraging sport, culture and education, the Olympics create a peaceful atmosphere where a better world can prevail. The Olympics movement promotes the values of excellence, friendship and respect. If these were what men devoted their energy into, there would be more space for everyone to compete equally and fairly.

The youths would have abundant avenues open to them to pursue and make gainful use of their exuberant energy. The Olympics may take a week but it takes many years of preparation and devotion. The financial rewards during those years are too little to motivate dedicated and committed youths. If we can encourage our Youths so early in their lives, the community gains because discipline and patience discourage crimes and immorality.

Discipline creates devotion for discovery and invention in Arts, Science and Culture that propel a nation into progressive growth. If those that preached and aspired to a more ideal society failed to lead, regressive ideas would take hold. This leaves some of us wondering if humans have actually leaped beyond Stone age of survival of the fittest, slavery and injustice.

As long as violence can be used to gain upper hand and enshrine privilege, it can be labeled as the most "civilized" community. It is surprising that in many countries that see themselves as the most civilized, the poor are still fighting for Freedom, Equal Protection and Civil Rights that are passed every five or ten years and could not be made permanent because small but loud powerful voices do everything to dismantle every progress accomplished.

These are the same descendants of those that never gave up on slavery. Even after these leaders have achieved their positions by democratic votes. They replaced slavery with cheap labor, pay under the table or hire those without voices into camps diluting their wages with usury "boarding" and grocery stores within. Workers end up paying more than they earn.

Western democracy is not perfect as long as we admit that and strive for reachable and higher equitable goals. Vote is a conditional choice based on probation, until the next election. Western democracy makes room for tolerance that is absent in other democratic or dictatorial governments. The choice of the people where they have a voice and participate in how they are ruled is different from those of the leaders that seize every opportunity to conjure votes.

Ironically, some of the worst dictators came in through democratic votes. They manipulate their mandate for the power most of their voters did not bargain for. By the time voters realized they had elected a lunatic, the power to make amends in the following elections had been forfeited. Many times, emotional issues are raised to overwhelm most of the voters' fears that have no intellectual benefits or in terms of bread and butter issues.

But emotional issues are powerful to raise distrust of others, even within the same group of people or country. The liberals have tried to walk the middle ground. They preach and try to implement progressive ideas while bridging the gap with moderate and social conservatives. A tight rope that can alienate social liberals in their own party. Indeed, conservatives have watched liberals go against one another so that they can capture the confused electorates.

On the other hand, when conservatives get elected and they gain power at the top, they force arcade ideology to bring back the "good old days privileges". If they do not get their ways, they resort to violence to enforce their views in broad daylight. For the same offence like drugs or violent behavior, the poor are over represented in the correctional institutions while the privileged class are committed to the medical and mental processes.

Most forms of governments want us to forget that their foundations were based on violence. They condemn violence in other countries but are almost helpless to violence if it is perpetrated by the privileged class in their communities. Violence that can never be tolerated from peaceful protesters. They use judicial and religious doctrines to justify the convoluted process for their double standard. The same process that allows swift punishment to the poor.

Take a place like Afghanistan where wars and violence are waged to deprive others the basic freedom to learn like others based on gender and class. In Roots, a little girl asked the father why they do not want the slaves to learn if they were that stupid anyway. He answered that education is a double edged sword. It can cut both ways.

No wonder, whenever women and Blacks have equal opportunities with the privileged class, they excel. When privileged children claim it is not their fault or their generation that put them at advantage over others, it means they are not going to play by the rules in an equal playing field. Any system of government, no matter how successful by the use of violence and repression that stifled or killed competition of talented individuals, is a rigged form of market in favor of cronies. It is another form of communism for
party members, certainly not capitalism.

These have become ancient history today but some of our Youths ignore the immediate past. We must remind our Youths through a crash course in history whenever we can get their short attention span in a sentence, paragraph, one or two pages. The first destination choice of African Youths today is the United States. Of course, they are aware of the discrimination against minorities, African genotype in particular and injustice. But you cannot blame the United States or any country for being selective of who they prefer as migrants. So should we.

It is no more a saying but a historical fact that the Privileged Class that prevented Peaceful Change against a system that was rigged against them, made a Revolution inevitable. No reasonable people want to see riots, carnage and human blood on the streets, destruction of exotic cars or the humongous homes of the Privileged. But if they fail to see beyond their noses, continue to ignore warning signs and bathe in their own decadence, they and their cronies continue the indifferent to the plight of Youths; they will lose it all.

Some of the privileged Africans basking and taunting the masses with an oasis of riches in a desert of poverty have become cronies of the powerful because of temporary gains that will come back and haunt their children. Those forgotten children they ignored and refused to train and provide for, using them as thugs are today’s bandits, herdsmen and kidnappers looking for fortune they could not get through legal means, skills or education; will haunt them forever.

Unfortunately, most Africans cannot even believe that after 400 years we are going back into the Dark Ages again. You cannot destroy your own country and look for an escape to destroy another country. The price some people pay to get to these lands is expensive, abusive and risky including paying bandits to transport little children. The families in abject poverty cannot afford a downpayment to bandit. How desperate can parents be to hand kids over to coyotes?

Once migrants cross over to their El Dorado, they become the cheapest labor of the land, turned into slaves and prostitutes until they pay off the balance and the “cost” of their journey. Slavery was born out of the notion that even the serfs, workers and slaves need their masters as jobs creators. Sadly, it has helped to create the worst face of poverty from Asia to Africa in our lifetime. Salaries are paid by those who make riches off your talents.

The fact is, demands create jobs. It is the masses demand for goods and services that allow employers to create jobs to increase production. Therefore, the real job creators are the people. The more people there are demanding goods, the more services are provided. Though it must be pointed out that in many African countries, hoarders thwart the law of supply and demand. Some traders are willing to hoard until they get the high price they want.

Children are usually the first to branch out of the family business looking for different lines of work or help parents expand. It is then you have to get more workers locally to fill jobs to meet demands. The greatest wealth was on the back of the cheapest ancient workers that were the serfs and slaves. This is how the economy of the Western world boomed on the back of "Saracens, pagans and any other unbelievers” legitimizing Portugal right in1452 for slave trade under Catholic beliefs by Pope Nicholas V. beyond Europe to America in Virginia.

Africans have been programmed with the vestiges of Slave Trade as necessary evil, no matter how devastating to those at the bottom of the ladder; as the price to pay for the economic survival of the world. Indeed, capitalism as the exploitation of the poor by the rich and communism as the exploitation of the rich by the poor have converged in Africa. Children of the poor became Soldiers and Police to take over the Treasury.

Nevertheless, other Africans pride themselves on the principle of conservatism. It is one of the reasons they identify with the Republican Party in the United States. There is also the question of Individualism fostered by the Catholic Church around the World since medieval times with Christian monogamous families.

African countries are undergoing another form of Slavery by indoctrination through religions and branding. It is so sad to watch Africans pick fights with one another in the name of two dominating religions that are alien to their cultures. When the Fulani elites publicly demand your land or soak you in blood because they see you as infidels or enemies on god-given land. Appeasement only encourages a higher demand until you stand up and fight back.

Even then, in Western Nigeria there has always been tolerance of all religions, foreign or indigenous in the same family. It is not that African do not have differences, we now realize that our tolerance level was greater than the rest of the world. Indeed, the accommodation of outsiders turned us into a place where advantageous relationships weighed against us. It must be noted that Christianity and Islam are not exclusively ingrained in the African countries where foreign religions are not so predominant.

ENEMIES WITHIN AFRICA NORMALIZE & REWARD VIOLENCE WITH IMPUNITY UNTIL DOWNFALL

There have always been enemies within Africa. We have never had rulers or politicians so wicked, they are willing to sell their land and people for foreign currencies spent outside Africa for vanities. It is true that our chiefs sold us into slavery but they hardly live outside Africa. The only time they ventured out was when they ran out of slaves and were taken as slaves, sold to the same countries in Europe and America where the subjects they had sold ridiculed them.

Whenever a country, an empire, or a continent flows in riches, boosting intelligent people and natural resources, it becomes an attractive honey pot for soldiers of fortune while others seek refuge. Songhai attracted Morocco just as the “Gold Coast” now modern Ghana attracted Europeans for its gold. Nigeria was also a honey spot up to the eighties for the Europeans and Americans as a place to make a killing in profit. Even now, they hold their noses to make money as business mercenaries.
