IFEBARBIE: that maintenance required light is lube service reminder that illuminates after 5000 miles. Once you service it, you can reset it to start the countdown afresh.
Anytime you diagnose your car always see and copy down the scan results yourself. You can buy an OBD2 Bluetooth dongle to scan yourself
Is your catalytic converter located under the car or under the hood close to the exhaust manifold? Hope you saw it yourself
I don't trust those Kareems
Thanks. Is lube service different from the normal service of changing engine oil and filter? Where can I get the OBD2 and how much is it? |

northbird: If you had a scanner, it's something you can do yourself. All he did was, "erase the codes" . Nothing special. I have cleared "maintenance required" manually wtout scanner. Check Chrisfix on YouTube.
Are your spark plugs ok.? They might need some cleaning, is there any leak in the exhaust pipes. Thanks bro. There's no leak in the exhaust pipe. The car sounds good and no fume. |

BAZ001: Are you sure you were not blocked by Uber 5yrs ago ? Or na one Hoodlum spirit invade ur account and dropped your ratings to 4.35 from 4.85 that spirit no sabi load and offload bags.
But you self get bad mouth ehhh Which one be ....baz & other noise markers. Well done just continue
My reason for showing the acct is to let you know I'm not new in the hustle as you stated before. I stopped because I got a job and it wasn't my car I was using then. Ask very old timers who started the hustle before you, they will tell you what happens to your rating on uber if you stop for long. For the person who saw 2 years ago, I was working with a chemical company 2 years ago and I had no car then. The first pix showed that the acct was operated over 5 years ago. I have nothing else to explain or defend. I have made my point. I am not new. I started before a lot of you |

IFEBARBIE: Is your check engine light on? If on, get it diagnosed and don't forget to run a data stream on the power train. Let's start from there?
My high mileage Camry threw a P0420 on me like 3 days ago, I noticed it was caused by low gas level, topped it and it disappeared on its own some hours later
Also, don't forget to post the scan results here for further suggestions

about the fabrication... The check engine was on before and the maintenance req was on. So I took it to my mechanic for service. After the service he called a guy that diagnosed it and the guy said they removed the catalyst but he later did something and the check engine and maintenance req wiped off. Later when I reported here, I called the mechanic to ask him if it was p0420 that showed, the guy said he can't remember, except I pay again for it. Who can help me diagnose? |

davit: If the code is p0420 DM for the solution. No need getting another catalyst. I had same experience when I got my Corolla. The defouler with its follow come catalyst converter did the magic. I still have one for sale. I sent you a pm already. Kindly respond |

mejai: According to information, fabricated ones are not ideal for an engine. Na time bomb. Either u get another one ( e suppose dey expensive) or u ask around about defouler(O2 spacer). Ask Gazzuzz, depending on the code thrown upon scanning. Start by scanning. If it is a P0420 code, which is notorious for catalytic converter.... I suggest u ask Gazzuzz for next thing to do. Thanks. I just finished speaking with him on the phone. He said it's not the absence of the catalyst that is making my car consume fuel |

I noticed my car consumes more fuel. I figured it is not normal, so I went to my mechanic. After checking, he said they've removed the catalytic converter of the car and that's the reason for the excessive fuel consumption.
Where can I get one and for how much? He talked about fabrication at ladipo for 25 or 30k. Is this advisable or should I get another?
I need contributions pls |

I saw her booking a ride on bolt App. She got someone and just sat there! I was almost pushed to tell her that she should have booked that ride after collecting her medication and ready to go. If I use it normally like office workers, it won't short oil. Though I met a mechanic today who said I should try oil treatment. I mean, there's a liquid they mix with the engine oil before pouring it in. If you have Pontiac Vibe 08, Tokunbo, then come let's exchange. I can add small money |

She start crying that I beat her, everybody vex like is she mad, calling her names, even aged women were using words on her. Las las she refuse to pay 2500, that she can only pay 2k. I took the 2k from her and just let everything slide. Sorry about this bro. It happened to me too. A lot of riders don't know how to use the App. Immediately they type name of their street, they just click it, not knowing that karimu str can be in Surulere and still be in ojodu. Before the bad incident that happened, I also had another experience with another lady....but I saved the day. Picked her from Magodo and she was going to ogudu but the App showed Surulere. I got to ketu and told her if I should take the express to Surulere or enter streets due to traffic on Ikorodu road. She asked what I was going to Surulere to do, I said that's the destination she inputted. She denied it. I collected her phone and corrected it and it changed on my App. Then I clicked on Google. Entered the right flank of the road. She thanked me and showed me the 5 star she gave me, after the trip. The bad incident I talked about. The lady refused to pay me and she refused me from changing destination on her phone and taking her to her right destination. She refused to pay. Reported to bolt and they said they will compensate me after 5 days. It's 5 days already. Reminded them and they sent me the message below:

donfortune48: They approximate to the nearest decimal.
If your rating is truly 4.88, what you'll see on riders app is 4.9.
Your rating may drop soon. But not likely. If you don't get any low rating soon. That's my rating below. I said I checked on my rider's App and it's 4.8 not 4.9. Meanwhile, I have 4.88 on my driver's App. Well, I don't know about the rating dropping soon. I didn't work today though, cos I took my mom to the hospital and was with her till 4pm. I decided not to work again today when I saw plenty traffic.

So, how do you feel when you found out now? I feel it's same on both App. To get a good rating, just be nice to rider. You don't have to carry load My good rating is not cos I carry load. I'm always nice and I drive well. I no dey speed. |
