IFEBARBIE:He didn't cause anything. As you like to treat your rider depends on you! It's a free world. If I decide to treat them well, then it's my kind of person. I've always been nice to people even before bolt. No matter the rider's character, my rating, etc, I'll always be me! I don't mind carrying their load! I recently picked an aged woman from Luth to somolu....got to her destination, money was 1500. She said; Ah, omo mi, 1 thousand naira lo wa lọ wọ mi(my son, 1k is what I have) I told her not to worry, that she should keep it. She insisted on giving me the 1k. She thanked me well. I smiled and greeted her and then i left. This is me. At times I leave 100 naira if client does not have change. This is me. Do as pleases you to riders and let me do as pleases me! There's simply no need for the shade, madam pocohantas. I come in peace ![]() |
Pearl1910:Alright bro. Thanks |
How do they do this?(check attached picture) At times I pick a rider and he/she says; I'll stop over to get something, and I'll be like; did you set it to "stop", the response would be; I don't know how to. Someone should pls tell me how to set it, just like the attached.

I picked this lady from kafi street(wema bank compound) around secretariat Ikeja, to ojodu berger. We didn't talk much, just few talks when I was pricing phone holder in traffic. She was busy talking on phone. From her conversation on phone, I figured she's a procurement personnel and she probably would be in a top position. They helped her load her stuffs in the car and the lady that brought the load was answering with "Yes Ma" I'm also a procurement person. I Worked with 3 companies as a procurement personnel. Costain West Africa Plc happen to be one of them. After her phone discussion, we were almost at her destination. Then I tried talking to her about our profession......asked her if she's in procurement. She answered hastily and told me to end the trip. I figured she didn't want to discuss it. She transferred the money and just came down. I actually wanted to let her know that I'm also a procurement person and hint her/advice her in some of the processes she mentioned....and maybe see if the discussion would fetch me something good, but then.....I guess she just sees me as a common driver! I might be wrong in my assertions, though |
Guys be careful tomorrow because of EndSars victims remembrance! Police go full road. Those that will pass through Lekki tollgate, make Una shine eyes o! |
FashionCookie:No woman has everything to keep a man! Vice Versa |
Highly Toxic thread! Lalasticlala and other mods should pay more attention to this thread and bring sanity and decorum. Some of these attacks, curses and abuse are really disgusting to read! To think that grown/matured/married family men are the ones displaying this barbarism, is really disturbing! |
Echereobiaify:They won't deactivate your account as long as you don't request for offline. Just be polite to riders, drive safe, put your a/c, keep your car clean, play music(if they ask you to) just be yourself.....it will come back up. It fluctuates. Check my rating below. As at Monday, it reduced to 4.6 from 4.8. it's back to 4.8 today.

Echereobiaify:What if rider stops on the way to buy stuffs before getting to his/her destination. Will it count or I should demand to end trip? |
Good morning guys. If a rider gets to his/her destination and wants to go somewhere else, would it count? |
cybertron88:I guess the state is the problem. A lot of people don't patronise uber/bolt. If you come to Lagos, the situation will change. My opinion though! |
Everywhere Red, but I dey my house ![]()
|
XGhost:If the 20k is after Bolt/uber and fuel deductions, then it's a very good one bro. You closed early too......at least 7pm |
sandammy:Thanks. |

The places I don't go are: Mushin, Oshodi, festac, igando, ijegun, ajangbadi, ejigbo, sango etc. I usually leave by 7am and close around 8pm. No very early morning, No late nights. I no dey kee myself for the job. I see drivers at admiralty looking so stressed, tired, famished......I can't work and look like that bro! |

|
BAZ001: some mothers have them(you) |
izzou:Where should I be if I dropped someone here from airport? Meanwhile, your response didn't solve anything. A polite and good response would have been: "You won't get rides at that place by that time, you should move to so so so place"! The way you guys respond to each other is the reason you quarrel and fight over nothing! Have a great day! |
Riders don dry for ShopRite ikeja. ![]() |
@felicity, I'm not countering your opinion or submission, I'm only advising people. I don't know much like you guys, I only just advice based on my little life experience. Most Nigerians act funny when it comes to money matters. They collect easily and when it's time to give back, it becomes difficult. Most people have dubious mindset. There are better ways to saving money, not contribution. If one can develop the habit of contribution, then one can also develop saving in a bank with the mandate I explained earlier. You can never withdraw till the date signed on the paper. The road accident logic cannot be used to judge this.....because you have a better, cheaper, safer option. If train system was well developed in Nigeria, a lot of Nigerians would prefer that to roads. In developed countries like USA, UK, Canada, etc, majority uses train. They leave their cars at home to catch a train to work. Saving your money in the bank is a better option. It's not about owning a car.....anything can happen at anytime! I wouldn't want to speak further about this. Thanks for understanding |
Those trying to start contribution, be very careful. Person fit collect money japa! Other situations could make one or two persons unable to meet up, after collecting theirs. I once did this at my former work place and it didn't go down well! You can open a separate bank account and make the mandate to be; "No withdrawals till after 'so so' duration". Save your 30k, weekly inside. It's safer |
BAZ001:Lolz. I no dey vex and I no fit vex online. I no even dey ikeja for hours. I got a ride to unilag from ikeja when I wanted to leave Adeniyi jones, also got some other rides on the mainland, going to Yaba, alagomeji, Sabo, somolu etc. I even got one around 5pm,going to VI but I declined cos I was already planning to go home and spend time with family. I don't work to deliver to anybody. I own my car. I work at my pace. I used my savings from all my 9 to 5 white collar job to buy the car. I don't work to kill myself. I actually don't plan to do this for long. I hope to get a better job or better still, start another prestigious business and give my car some breathing space and also free myself from embarrassment! All these oloshos can give you shit on top 1k! Have a good life bro. Me and you no get issues! |
BAZ001:Nothing fit make me vex for your post. I've been reading all your post. I'm used to worse posts. You always attack people for nothing. Keep making your money bro. No be fight |
Barbiturate:Even drove to Adeniyi Jones, still no show. Me don dey go house abeg |
