[quote author=Emusan post=129693470]The bold is sufficient for me.[/quot So you already have a preconceived mindset, now disturbing us. I thought you were a science enthusiast or space enthusiast. Next time open this in the religious section. There are things that science can't decipher or understand, but the basics, like the questions you posed have all been answered by science...for instance the earth is not 6000 years old, we know that space is vast because of calculations and space craft man have sent to space. If our computers and equipments for calculating distances on Earth work, why will we doubt the calculations science brings out about space? Stop mixing up religion and science... everything about religion are encapsulated in a book, science is beyond that, and religion is not the way to the truth or a better world, its more about manipulation. |
Believeintruth:Mugu, the argument is about governors not people... monkey show me any report of a governor complaining of not given approval. Keep supporting inefficient lazy criminal heads. |
Believeintruth:You are talking nonsense, am talking of state governors not people...state governors should be pushing for this not individuals. State governors should look for investors to invest in ports and manage it, private infrastructure and assets are better managed than government owned. |
Believeintruth:People like you are Nigeria's problems, you are being advocate for clueless, inefficient, lazy governors. Listen, a governor can bring in private investors to build ports. I have never seen any governor call press conference to say FG refuses to give them approval to build ports...the governors are not pushing for development, they are busy looking for ways to divert and hide public funds. Show me any report or complaint by state governors saying FG refuses to give them rights to build ports... show me...not waiting for FG to bring the money like lazy gluttons. |
Emusan:I see you are not speaking from the point of intelligence or empirical evidence, science have more evidence than religion. A lot of things have been discovered by science... electromagnetism, x-ray, electroviolet waves, static electricity etc...this is how you can use your phone to communicate with someone in America on video. Science and technology has done a lot, we have evidence, so yes, we can believe their science reports and data. Secondly, to know the Earth moves, is why we have day and night, because the earth moves and faces the Sun and Moon different times, that is why it can be day time in Nigeria and night in America. So many things about space, you can observe even as an earthling. Study and be approved, you sound ignorant, and seems you are here to disprove scientific facts without any strong arguments or facts. You sound lame. Science gave you cars, aeroplane, gps, television, microwave etc...Science is real. |
Emusan:I know this because the earth has been rotating in its axis, and moving across this cosmos endlessly, since the beginning of time, billions of years ago...and space time is calculated in light years...to show you the speed and vastness in space...also if you know the speed of jets and spaceships, and how limited it still is, when it comes to venturing into deep parts of space, yoi will have an idea. Also scientists calculate space distances by light, how the light of a star is seen, can help calculate the distance, and scientists infered that space is so vast, it's distance is incalculable. |
Emusan:Space is endless...there are vast amounts of spaces in between stars. |
The vast distance in between is why...we are able to see these wide area of space, because we are so far away...if you get closer to the Sun, in the outer space of the cosmos...you will see the space around the sun is bright and very hot. It's due to distance of our viewing position. |
ProjectsCityNG:Brilliant |
Power minister is performing below par. |
Governors are the worst set of humans in Nigeria. |
Dennisochampa:Mumu, parasite's parasite. |
Where is the accountability and prudent management of scarce resources. Nigerian politicians, the revenue is scarce because it belongs to 120million Nigerians, but you people use it like na una private money, the way you people use it like it belongs to you and your family, that is why you waste it anyhow...in developed societies or serious societies they do not abandon projects, because it's a collosal waste of scarce public funds. You are supposed to think a project through before starting it, but I think some of you purposely start unrealistic projects just to loot. Remember your time here is short, if stealing and destroying humanity is what you want to be known for, by this reckless and ruthless embezzlement... continue. The universe is alive watching, the Almighty God is watching, remember the soul - energy of man lives on, and we all will receive just ascension of our souls (energy), based on how we lived, in this phase of eternity. |
zhike:I think it's a lost cause...the hope is in the future generations. Right now, we see everything the European or Arab said as true, and all our ancestors taught us, bore us in, as false. Even with the current history of European and Arab invasion of Africa, enslavement and colonization, we still embrace their culture and religions as best. Typical stockolm syndrome. When you see Nigerians attacking our military, just because of religious beliefs, you know we are in a big mess. |
Believeintruth:See your myopic thinking. A state governor is the chief executive of the state. |
udemzyudex:Believe me, it's not about approval, the state governors are not pushing for it...see the way they push to share excess revenue etc...they rather pocket the money. I have never heard a state governor complaining or putting FG to task about failure to give them approval for ports, I have never heard, and I follow politics keenly. |
udemzyudex:State governors earn enough and has enough capacity to attract investors to build ports, but their lazy criminal heads rather think of how to steal public funds. Calculate how much state government loot you will know that they can build 4 ports within 4 years if they want. Building ports is not rocket science. |
Always bloating project figures. Are you people taking this money to the afterlife? I don't know how people will be stealing hundreds of billions, just to consume. |
... |
IronGalaxy:The thread is facts, Nigeria is a twisted, disjointed union, the political class are parasites, the people are brainwashed by religion. |
Reflect7:Yes, true talk. Politicians take oath with Bible and Quran but know it has no effects, so they keep stealing. Nigerians spend all their time in church, give out their money to pastor and wait for manna from heaven. Bokoharam and Iswap disturbing us due to Islamic extremism indoctrination and indoctrinating almajiris whom the Northern oligarchy want to keep as destututes perpetually, we have spent trillions in combating these terrorists, yet almajiri system must continue according to the north. Nigeria is a disgrace to Africa, big for nothing, no real sense. |
We are brainwashed by religion and by Eurocentricity. |
Collosal waste of public funds |
No tolerance for unscrupulous people in the circle. Very good. |
What have the lazy ineffective governors been waiting for... federal government has since given states and entities right to build their power infrastructure...since the beginning of this administration. |
Greedy small minded folks. |
We tolerate kidnappers too much in Nigeria, in America,if you are a kidnapper and killer you get death penalty, here we play with them. |
flokii:Am talking of the strength of such a metal sword, it won't bend so easy...by the way he does it, it looks fake. A sword can't bend so easy. You might think you know jazz, but physics and chemistry are ahead of the game. By the sheer composition of a real sword, it won't bend so easy. |
Our intelligence can capitalize on this... |
Truvelisback:Conclusion is, the display is fake. |
Truvelisback:I mean the sword is fake, plastic. Iron won't bend against flesh. |
A real sword knife won't bend so easy. |
