PoliticsRe: My Stand On Who APC Should Field For The Presidency/VP - Femi Fani-kayode by Baron75: 12:18pm On Jan 09, 2014
" We have not risked all, including our lives and liberty, turned our backs on him and resolved to fight him just to be left with nothing. The position of Senate President, Speaker of the House or anything else is not big enough for us and in any case they are fraught with uncertainties.

The yoruba must have the position of Vice President to make up for what they have suffered in the hands of others in the last five years and in return for the mammoth support that they will give the APC in 2015. Politics is a game of numbers. Yet let us make no mistake about it- if the APC candidate is a northerner his running mate must be a yoruba man.

If you want lasting stability, peace and equity in Nigeria that is the way to achieve it. Anything else will fail and will leave the door of victory wide open for Jonathan, his ijaw ethnic supremacists and their numerous friends and allies."
So this why the South West suddenly turned against GEJ, South South and the South Esat. Well, not surprising. They have been known for betrayal since the history of Nigeria. They will soon betray the North, watch out. I laugh.
PoliticsRe: My Take On Stella Oduah's Fake MBA Degree - Femi Fani-kayode by Baron75: 11:44am On Jan 09, 2014
cramjones: I wonder if our igbo brothers and sisters will allege that all those that condemn Stella Oduah's shameless lies and false declarations, under oath, before the Nigerian Senate that she acquired a masters degree from some second rate American university are nothing but "igbo haters" who have a hidden agenda?

Honestly, this woman, this government, this President and all those that support them are an utter disgrace to Nigeria and to Africa. Even with all this I assure you that our President will not be able to muster the courage and decency to be firm and decisive and to fire this vampire Minister. And we all know why though we dare not say it.

We are a nation that is being governed by a bunch of scammers, cheats, liars, rogues, 419ner's, adulterers and ritualists. May God rid us of this evil and shameless government with it's inner circle and tiny cabal of desperate, heartless and greedy Jezebels
Femi Fani Kayode Sir, kindly refer to the senate exposition on this matter and see that you are the worst tribalist, igbo hater, liar, deceit, rogue and mischievous person. You have been proven wrong in all your comments. For example, your shameless immoral assertion of having dated the wife of the most cherished Igbo leader, Amb Bianca Ojukwu later turned out to be lies and you were forcefully humbled to tender unreserved apology which you did shamefully. Again, when the Ignoble former president obasanjo wrote an open letter to President Jonathan, you opened you dirty mouth and vomited stench in support of obasanjo and was later disgraced by his own daughter, Iyabo who replied her father when the accused, Jonathan had not even uttered a comment. Yesterday, you took on Stella Odua's CV and vomited all sorts of nonsense against her, the Igbos and President Jonathan. Today again, the senate has made you a liar. Sir I heard you are a Lawyer like me, but I find it hard to believe because a lawyer by training can never base his assertions on unverified facts, only to end up vomiting falsehood. Can you now simply tender an unreserved apology to Stella Odua and the Igbos and next time, please take time and verify your facts before you pour them out. And please always leave the Igbos alone and stop being a tribal hater. May God forgive you sir.
PoliticsRe: Open Letter: Obasanjo An Egomaniac, Says Edwin Clark by Baron75: 2:14am On Jan 08, 2014
The South East and South South are blameless in the present woes of Nigeria because all along, it has been the north and the south west presiding over the affairs of this country to the detriment of Nigerians, looting and stealing the national treasury for their selfish interest, OBJ being the highest beneficiary. Destiny has brought a south southerner to be president and he is doing all he can to elevate the country from her pariah state, but the same north and south west have joined forces to ridicule and frustrate him out through chicanery, subterfuge and terrorism, so that they will continue their feast on the national goods. Let it be known that they have set a bad precedent where no zone can trust the other anymore. They had had their ways all these years because the south east and south south were only concerned about Gd leadership without minding where the leader comes from. But now we have realized they were taking us for fools.

PoliticsRe: Sanusi Forced To leave 3-Months To The End Of His Tenure - SaharaReporters by Baron75: 8:54am On Dec 30, 2013
koboko69: Sharrap there!

12 billion $ is still unaccounted for. We all knw sanusi was forcrd to even reduce the figure to that amount. Mr president's enemies live and eat with him. They leaked the letter in the 1st place. The corruption infested woman okonjo still had no shame to be arguing with reps that its 10 billion $ and not 12. We are not talking about naira here you know....what a facked up government. Madam bullet proof is till in his cabinet too, he's looking for a way to remove the CBN governor despirately.
Yes, because from the onset, CBN Gov Sanusi made a point of duty to bring GEJ down maliciously. Firstly, when GEJ made him the most influential and the most trusted govt official, he led him into the subsidy rubbish that cracked the reputation of GeJ's govt. After that, he wanted to lead him into printing N5,000 notes, he tried to convince GEJ to sack 50% of Federal workers, scrap some states and LGs. I know I made a comment on fb, asking Sanusi if a northerner were to be the president, would he give him similar policy advice. When these negative policies didn't work out, he published on news papers that " Jonathan's aids are owing Nigeria N1.3tr." after that, he introduced cashless policy when there's no facilities for its operations, and later withdrew money in circulation in the economy. All these are just to force hardship on the masses so that they can revolt against GEJ's govt. But when they were not working out, he went into alliance with APC and started writing open letters or rather leaking his private letter to the press just to ridicule and embarrass GEJ. I was a bit disappointed with GEJ because he did not read Sanusi's compass earlier. If I were GEj, I would have detected his motive earlier and there were many reasons to sack him based on corruption. Afterall his profligacy and squandermania were discovered but GEJ was being patient with him. Actually, I do not support corruption. Petroleum minister and any other officials involved in corruption should be investigated and punished. I'm much concerned abt Sanusi because his is with malice.
PoliticsRe: Tunde Bakare Reject Cow From GEJ by Baron75: 7:26am On Dec 30, 2013
This is ridiculous and cheap publicity coming from Tunde Bakare and El- Rufai. Would one cow sent to Bakare stop the President from carrying out projects? Or what is wrong is extending a hand of reconciliation to an opponent or "enemy" as Bakare presents, through gesture? After all, this is Xmas and most of us gave out gifts. I did too, even to those I had problems with and most of them have reconciled with me. I see no reason why Bakare can not accept such a simple gift and still focus on his political target. After all he preaches reconciliation, forgiveness and peace as a christian preacher. And if he doesn't want to accept it, does he need to publicize his rejection? If he wants to advise GEJ, he has other media for that than the pulpit. His attitude shows that he doesn't act what he preaches and it is poor behavior. He is a politician instead of a pastor. It is only in Nigeria that one loses election and turns himself an enemy of the winner. Elections are either won or lost. Winning or loosing is determined by the voters, and the looser should accept it and wait for the next election. Whether you win or you loose, either way you achieved something because your name has joined the list of heroes. You can play opposition, but no the enemy's role.

President Jonathan & First Lady during Christmas Service at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Abuja today.

http://www.emmanuelbabatunde.com/2013/12/photo-president-jonathan-first-lady.html
I L♥√ع this family, and I have great respect for President Jonathan. He is a responsible family man with so much respect and L♥√ع for his wife. At least, for once, one can boast outside this country that my President is civil and enlightened. Not those days when we had Presidents who didn't know the number of their wives and children, and some of them would batter their wives very well in the night before appearing on telly the next morning pretending they never did, that brought us to ridicule internationally. Despite what People say now with malice against GEJ, one thing I'm sure of is that Nigerians would miss GEJ whenever he leaves office and would clamor for his type again. The only real and civilized Presidents Nigeria has ever had are Shehu Shagari, Umaru Musa Yar'adua and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Others were so crude and fraudulent.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Response Shallow, Disappointing - Northern Elders by Baron75: 7:05pm On Dec 24, 2013
Demdem:
Fool, thanks for accepting that Jonathan is useless.
GEJ is not daft, he is purely civil and that is how a democratic leader should be, allowing criticisms and finding civilized solution to insurgency without violating people's right to life. What OBJ did in Odi, Bayalsa state is barbaric, rascally and rash, devoid of reason and respect for human life. I don't know when Nigerians will become sane in their thinking. An American president cannot come close to taking the life of the smallest American. But here, we clamor for someone who will rule us with iron hand and scorpion. If we find him, God forbid, we will turn around and start crying. We Nigerians are always Gd at making bad choices. Our choices of Tafawa Belewa against Nnamdi Azikiwe, Shagari against Awolowo, and Obasanjo against Alex Ekwueme are all baffling, and we have seen where these choices led us to. If we continue to make such choices, we will never stand up as a nation.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Response Shallow, Disappointing - Northern Elders by Baron75:
berem: www.naij.com
For sure, there's nothing GEJ will do or say that will be pleasing to the North, unless he leaves the presidency and hands over to a Northerner, which will never happen because the leadership of this country is not their exclusive birth right. They should be fair to other parts of this country and wait until it gets to their turn again. What is bad if another zone rules. After all, they have ruled for more than 80% of our national existence without taking this country anywhere, only plundered our national treasury. For all I care, GEJ's administration is much better than Obasanjo's regime. After all, if it were during Obasanjo's regime, there would have been fuel crisis by now, and fuel dealers would fleece the masses. Nigerians shouldn't forget so quick. The insurgency we are witnessing today were planned and executed by those who boasted that they will make this country ungovernable for GEJ and the sole aim is to scare GEJ out of the seat and take over. Once the Presidency gets into the hand of a Northerner, they would have
achieved their aim and then they will calm down. But we will not be coward and slaves to hand over the presidency perpetually to the North so that they will allow us to live. Instead of playing the fool, we'll rather all die. No one person or people have monopoly of terrorism.

cramjones: I know the Obasanjo family very well..and a personal friend to Iyabo...I a number of personal things she allegedly said are true (not all). However, I don't think she wrote them, someone that knows some of these details may have fabricated it. Iyabo is a well trained Yoruba woman and the last thing she will do is to ridicule her father in public.
Do you listen to what you're saying? You shouldn't assume that she didn't write it. If she's not the writer of the letter, she would have granted a live TV interview to deny it to everybody's knowledge.

Policewoman: I believe this case should be thoroughly investigated to get to the bottom of the issue. It is not common hearing of a priest assaulting a policeman. Hmmm with all these hidden posts does that make me first to comment? cool
Only when you've become a victim of police lies and victimization would you begin to take their stories with a pinch of salt. It is wrong and condemnable for a priest to assault a police officer and vice versa. But what should be found out between the priest and the police is who assaulted the other and what led to it. Believe me, the magistrate may have punished a wrong person. Well shaa! We are watching. I comment my reserve.

Boko Haram - "we are working very hard on that", how can a president make such a useless generic statement like that? Did this doofus of a president not learn from his Kenyan counterpart on how to address firmly the issue of terrorism in a country??

Well over 3000 people have died, our useless president is saying "the interviewer needs to update her statistics"!

When asked about sovereign funds, this dunce of a President immediately turned into a stammerer!

See the bunch of retardeenic sycophants trying to push Adeola away from asking questions to the President. What a disgrace Nigeria has become.

In my own Imo State mumudom, only the governor chooses will will represent Oguta LGA in the State House of Assembly, as if the LGA has only deaf, dumb and blind people.
Even where INEC declares the election inconclusive, the governor "vetoes" the result in favour of his candidate.
Only in the mumudom will a governor of a state create a 4th tier government while the constitution of the country provides for only 3 tiers only.
Only in the mumudom will a governor of a state by verbal proclamation sack people employed in the state civil service without recourse τ̅☺ the civil service rules as if he is the law himself and sack the civil service and judicial service commissions without any reason.
Only in the mumudom will a Governor who came τ̅☺ power by due process jettison due process and be awarding contracts worth billions of naira with mere diary without terms and specification.
Only in the mumudom will a governor proudly declare in public that "in Nigeria we don't break the law, we omly bend it τ̅☺ suit our purpose" as if there is a difference between bending the law and breaking the law.

Segeggs: ^^Mr u r totally wrong. For a man whom many believe speaks for God to have made such statement shows he is totally false. He should condemn homosexual act and not pay it any respect. I dont mean he should hate the persons but the act.
Mr. Segegg, why r u quick at passing judgement as if u r d righteous God himself. If u read the pope's statement and understood it. He said the act of homosexuality is bad, but the people doing it are not to be condemned, being God's children like each one of us, that the deserve help to assist the come out of it(help in the sense of prayer nd counselling) let me ask you, do u know God's standard of judgement? Even if you know, do u live up to it? You are as sinful as the gays, there's no better sin. We are all sinners and all deserve help. Perhaps, when you were a child, u may have stolen your father's money, but he did not condemn u, he fed u, clothed u nd trained u believing that one day u'll be d better person u r 2day. Remember that Mary Magdaleen was condemned by the people as an adulterer, but Christ showed her pity and changed her. Barabas was condemned as a thief and hung on the cross near Jesus but at the dying minute, he repented and Christ took him to heaven despite his sin. Those people u pass judgement on and condemn as gay may have a last minute repentance and meet heaven before u. That's why the pope addaed the clause "if they are of good will and seek God" I get disgusted with gay act, but I have always approached issues with the type of consideration in Pope's statement. Easy my friend.

Then I will introduce changes into the nigerian police by placing a minimum requirement of o'level for recruitment for employment in the forces, and then consign all non qualified already employed to cooking, sowing cloths, washing cars in the barracks where they will not come in contact officially with the public because the are the abusers. I will arrange for foreign training programs for nigerian police members. I will create ethics and discipline commission to be run by the millitary, which comission will be given power above all other security agencies and members of the commission will be posted to everywhere especially to foundation schools like primary, secondary and tetiary institution to inculcate discipline on our teachers and students so that the future of our nation will begin to change. They will also be posted to LGs, ministries, parastatals and even on the streets to force a chance of attitudes on the people. I will ensure that the LGs,Houses of Assemblies of states are given financial autonomy but will create a forum for public accountability. I will create industries that will inturn generate employment and reduce or remove taxes and levies on the poor/unemployed, but make the rich to pay more and from the taxes payed by the rich, the poor will be cattered for, taxes will be paid on any form of expensive liffestyle Embezzlement of public fund will be life in prisonment, breach of trust will be life imprisonment too, giving bribe will attract a term of prison while receiving of bribe will attract more. btechnology: party, party, party....... Dats all we hear. Think about it, is the political party d problem of nigeria or the people? Nigeria has been ruined by the people in d party and not the party itself. PDP or merger party is not d problem we have is dis country, its the people dat pilot their affairs.

Whether APC or PDP or what ever rules dis country, if we dont change our life style toward corruption, greed, favouratism, tribalism etc, dis country wil still be under the same bondage.

Now they are talking about going to abuja to shut it down with people wife, husbands and children when their own is somewhere around d bahamas chilling in exotic hotel and beach. And wen d poor and oppress finish the dirty work, they will impose their children as assembly members, traditional title holders and wives become senators.

Its high time we come out to let dis leaders know dat we cannot b fool anymore. I use to agree that d words of elders, are d words of wisdom bt not any more. The youth are wise enough to have their own words.

My candid advice to this elders is to realize and understand that leadership is not for a function of the political party, bt a function of the political will to change the fortunes of the people. God bless and unite this great nation.
You have just spoken my mind. Those who have ears, let them hear.
