PassingShot: So, what business do some of the rich states have with owing salaries?
Bayelsa, is a typical example of a FAILED STATE if we compare her level of development to her income.
Is this also as a result of FG or failure to restructure? God bless you for this comment. See the allocation Bayelsa state has yet most of her parts are still in a sorry state. SMH for our democracy! |

I will say BRF is trying, though not to the expectation of some Nigerian citizens. If this is implemented, then I'll say we are gradually getting there. If any state can seize this opportunity, mere kicking off the project will make the Disco in charge of that state sit-up because most of these Discos are jokers! Though I doubt that Generation figure, Thumbs up BRF! |

nextprince: the National Coordinator of Nigerian Sex Workers Association, Amaka Anemo
Amaka Anemo must have satisfied the winning requirements at the level of all the states across the country by simple majority with a very huge number of votes ahead her opponents. Blood is thicker than water.
Actually, I wasn't expecting such organisation to be headed by either one Bunmi or Aisha. |

ngozi4real1: Attention all. Please go and read your GMAT if you are shortlisted for graduate trainee. I have written dpr test before for the post of graduate trainee. The questıons that was give to us was from GMAT. English, maths, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and current affairs. If you study well you will pass the first stage. While the second stage was in two segment. First you will be given a topic or the will ask u a question for u to provide d answer within some seconds. As u are talking d have started scoring u including ur dressing, grammar and composure. Second segment, we were taken to a computer room and a diskette (then) we given to us. At that point if u are not computer literate u have started failing already. So u need to slot in d diskette open it and start answering d questions after which you type your name save it and print out. D hard copy and d diskette were submitted to them. Third stage which was the final stage is oral interview. You need to be current. Know everything about dpr. Read their history. Read everything about the regulatory bodies. OPEC, ECOWAS, the economic trend etc. Though my status is still showing pending. I applied for experience hire.
Though I got to the final stage but was not employed. But two of my friends were employed. They are big shot now. I wish everyone one all the best. All I know is that their test is not hard if u study well. Know your elementary mathematics. All d best God bless you! |

Pray that the proposed sack to be averted! If it is not, then, God definitely has something better in store for me... I will then get a backup of all my works in that organization, create unforgettable moments with my colleagues, mend all my loop holes and perhaps train a prospective successor for the job and then wait for my change to come!!! |

Politics › Re: No Hope For Nigeria Power Sector – Senate by barrysome001: 8:57am On May 25, 2017 |
I commend Sen. Dino Melaye and Sen. Ben Bruce for their sound understanding of the decay that exist in the power sector. The Privatization of Discos(most especially) is causing a lot of damage to the power sector. The investors thought once they start running the business, profit will start flowing in for them, they have invested little or nothing to the power sector and yet want their maximum profit. If only we have a good well meaning leaders, we don't need privatization in this sector, Discos are not willing to invest, all they want is profit hence the crazy billing!
Billing system is so inefficient and cruel in Nigeria, DISCOs want to make as much profit before FG will think of reabsorbing them. I pray Sen. Dino and co. pull this through! The privatization is scam; Nothing positive to show for it. |

Business › Re: NERC Grants Gencos Right To Sell Electricity Directly To Consumers by barrysome001: 8:10am On May 20, 2017 |
A very good move I must say. Industrial customers, estates and "smart" communities will benefit a great deal from this development.
Some Industrial customers consumes up to that requisite amount of energy, some big estates likewise.
"Smart" communities: there are communities here that are bulk billed by the disco we have here, i.e if any community can be smart enough to do a load assessment of their area and realize that their consumption is that high, all they need do is apply for this offer.
And the beauty of this idea is that, you can't owe the Genco like it's easy to owe disco, it will be easy to disconnect you from supply once you default in payment. Thumbs up baba Fash!
More so, Fashola just put the discos on their toes, the competition will benefit Nigerians because Discos will be forced to sit up now, their major revenues are from Maximum demand customers that now have an alternative (a better one in times of service delivery perhaps). It's a good move #IMO |
