Talknochip: hmmm! while many will call this cowardice, but can we blame them- seeing that there is a clear difference between 'dying for your country' and 'being murder for your country'?!.. This development is a very sad one and portends great danger to the Nation's overall security in the long run.. unless the fight against terrorism is done with sincerity of purpose, we shall continue to see this kind of happenings in the future. The force be it Millitary of Police is not for everyone. If you have no business there you are not required to join. Please note that it is not mandatory. Now if you have joined and do not abide by the rules the government is obliged to take all necessary action to punish you for gross misconduct which includes imprisonment. They are all aware of this before they joined and they also know the repercussion of thier action so please don't take panadol for another persons headache. That's why I like my Hausa brothers. Very Gallant and brave. na why them plenty for millitary and not all we fake ass southerners looking for millitary and police position just to intimidate ourselves. |

It apears you are clinically dumb. Aside the dresing which is what every mediocre has seen so far, you did not notice the size of the content presented after watching it 4 times. When you are prepared for a presentation you bring in all your analysed data for coroboration. It apears Fayose was not prepared for the presentation and thus made a shoddy representation of the budget. YOU ARE CLINICALLY DUMB.... Haaaa 4 goood times and nothing.... olodo |

I clearly understand that Nairaland has offered even morons and uneducated individuals the opportunity to also speak even when they know absolutly nothing. I hope you are aware theres a limit to what you can carry as cash through the borders of Nigeria e.g through airports. If you carry more than that then it should be declared with relevant documents, counted and documented. Now if you dont do this and you are caught, it raises suspicion as to the real purpose of the cash which could be clearly categorised as money laundring |

Any civilized and informed person knows that Lobbying is an inherent part of a democracy with separation of power. Even in advanced democracy like the US, the president must make trade-offs with the legislature to get his projects approved.
But some caveman who don't understand how government works are angry because the strongest National assembly in Nigeria's history refuses to rubber-stamp the executive "requests".
The 17 billion naira is not a bribe as no lawmaker received a personal alert based on it. It was for projects that some lawmakers deemed important to their constituents. Oju ole re oleeee. See the eyes of a thief.... THIEF. BIG ONE SHAME ON YOU |

Lessons For Today’s Bankers from 1863 Simple, sound advice often stands the tests of time. Financial history is full of such examples. The following has been sourced from Daring Opinion by Elie Elhadj.
In December 1863, Hugh McCulloch, then newly appointed U.S. Comptroller of the Currency and later the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, wrote a letter to American banking institutions. Here are some excerpted highlights:
1. Let no loans be made that are not secured beyond a reasonable contingency. Do nothing to encourage speculation. Give facilities only to legitimate and prudent transactions.
2. Distribute your loans rather than concentrate them in a few hands. Large loans to a single individual or firm, although sometimes proper and necessary, are generally injudicious, and frequently unsafe. Large borrowers are apt to control the bank.
3. If you doubt the propriety of discounting an offering, give the bank the benefit of the doubt and decline it. If you have reasons to distrust the integrity of a customer, close his account. Never deal with a rascal under the impression that you can prevent him from cheating you.
4. Pay your officers such salaries as will enable them to live comfortably and respectably without stealing; and require of them their entire services. If an officer lives beyond his income, dismiss him; even if his excess of expenditures can be explained consistently with his integrity, still dismiss him. Extravagance, if not a crime, very naturally leads to crime.
5. The capital of a bank should be reality, not a fiction; and it should be owned by those who have money to lend, and not by borrowers.
6. Pursue a straightforward, upright, legitimate banking business. ‘Splendid financing’ is not legitimate banking, and ‘splendid financiers’ in banking are generally either humbugs or rascals. |

1 It is possible he does not have the health stamina to embark on a rigorous campaign for now
2. APC is afraid that Nigerians(Except die hard Zombies) have rejected them for none performance and PDP may receive more supports and crowds at campaign and this will make rigging difficult or glaring.
3 No funds for campaign and no APC governors or leaders want to waste his money on PMB as that is not a guaranty that he won't betray them latter.
