yemiosinbajo: I believe UI is ahead only in medical sciences which is what they are known for. I once heard that 75% of research journals from UI comes from the faculty of medicine. I'm not sure about now, but in my time UI had no accounting or business-related majors. you are wrong! |

Etfash: I attended both schools and can categorically say that U.I is more beautiful, more spacious and less crowded when compared with Unilag.
In terms of educational standard, I feel they at par. U. I is ahead research-wise because that's what most of their lecturers do. Although some of them are venturing into consultancy now.
With respect to street sense and application of acquired knowledge in the outside world, I'll give it to Unilag.
So, I will employ a U. I graduate if I need loyalty but a Unilag graduate if I need somebody to go bring jobs for me.
Which of the 2 schools would I prefer for my child? Unilag. the drone picture of U.I was too poor it covers just 30% of the school |

Ndeoma: See bro am not the one going after her again. After she told me she is engaged I immediately withdrew myself but the situation here now is that she is the one coming for me. I don't even look at her face in church but one way or the other she will try to come around me. She watches my every move in church just in case I want to try out another lady in church. Most times when am smiling and chatting with my phone you'd clearly see this frown on her face. I've been observing this trend for a while now.
And you know once you love someone, definitely you'd fell like trying your luck once again to see whether their is a chance something could be established between you both. That's the state of dilemma I am in now. And also the lady too fine bro.
I value your advice bro and I will try to restrain myself from her at all cost. Funny enough I don't even call her on phone. She only wants to enjoy your attention and the feeling that she is the most desired in church. Simple! Don't be used for her ego, neglect her and treat her as if she doesn't exist in the church |
Politics › Re: The First Project By Julius Berger In Nigeria 1965 Was In Lagos (Throwback Pic) by Basic123: 1:19pm On May 09, 2020 |
AreaFada2: In fact Okotie-Eboh brought Berger & Bilfinger to Nigeria. Lagos was shaped by people across Nigeria. And slave returnees. Benin even gave the place it's name: Eko (camp) being a war camp of Benin Empire.
Lagos is a melting pot. Very unique. It wasn't even part of Western Region in the 1960s. It was on its own.
Today we call it SW. It shows how Nigeria gradually veered into extreme tribalism since the civil war. Ignorance! |

Romance › Re: I Can't Stop Thinking About Him by Basic123: 3:15pm On May 07, 2020 |
Filomena: There's this guy I met in school and there has been this connection between us. We have gradually become friends. I find myself staring at him most of the time and when he tries to catch me, I hide my face. I have also observed that he stares at me a lot too and smiles and then says hey to me.
We had a small talk in school too. I didn't know he stayed in campus too so one night when I was going out to read, I saw him, like I couldn't believe it because I thought I was not going to see him again after they declared the two weeks strike, till it was called off. So I was really shocked and happy when I saw him. Then he hugged me and I hugged him too and held him tight.
So he then asked if this was my room and I told him yes. He told me he just escorted his friend that just finished cooking for him. I felt bad hearing that because I felt they had something more. So he then asked me which church I'd be attending the following day, I told him and he said okay and told me good night. He didnt even ask for my phone number. I wonder why he didnt.
The other day he just saw me and didn't talk to me and i felt bad for that. So after that day I saw him and he was just busy staring at me and smiling and I wasn't really in the mood for that but I still stared back. He then told me hey and passed. He was with his friend and I greeted him too and passed.
So the last day I saw him, I was coming back from church and was hoping I'd see him again one last time before I travelled. Lo and behold, I saw him coming towards me with some of his friends. He then hugged me and we had a small chat. I was still hoping that he'd collect my number, still he didnt..
I dont know if he wants to have something with me or not since he's yet to ask for my number..
Please guys I need your thought on this cuz I really want to go into a relationship with him.. I want to know if he likes me or bidding his time or just playing around.
Thanks. You better stay as friend. Sometimes, friendship is sweeter than relationship as there is little sense of entitlement in friendship than relationship. You will see a duo that has never fight on friendship fighting dirty in relationship. Friendship-relationship-marriage are different ball games, unfortunately people do have this erroneous believe that once one is perfect the other will definitely be! Sometimes a duo might be good as friends and poor as lovers and husband and wife! |

RTSC: It was the rise of conservative Islam that made many of their good people to flee the country and put the country on a war path with the west.
Iran of the 70s was free like a western country and was friends with America. What is conservative Islam? What type of Islam is Saudi Arabia practicing? Why are Saudi Arabia and USA Allies? Why did some people celebrate US killing of Iran general but castigate Buhari for incarcerating El zakyzaky being sponsored by Iran? Analysis of international politics is not based of hatred/bias for a particular religion but history and and objectivity! |
