There is no need for our prayers.

Please look for something else more profitable and less risky.

I was in debt recovery exercise for a while with a Nigerian bank and I know how hard and complicated it was.

Coupled with Nigeria's current hard economy where most businesses are not even sure of breaking even, not to mention profiting.

I am amazed at how brave that skinny officer is to have challenged and handcuffed that muscled dirty-looking criminal.

He could have been injured or killed within the process. Kudos to him.

With all the N millions or N billions, that native doctor still looked so dirty and crude.

In today's world, 40 years of age is still okay for a man.

But you must start building on something meaningful for yourself and future at this stage. That's very important.

Otherwise, if you desire marriage later, it may continue to remain just in your dream.

What happened to the $24 billion that Buhari borrowed?

Nigeria is finished. Tinubu has figured out that there is no foreign investment coming into the country. The oil export has been mortgaged to the hilt. So he has to borrow to fund consumption.
I think a chunk of it being planned for his re-election spendings. These guys could be selfish and heartless.

Some of it could be allocated to the so called "Lagos / Calabar highway project". Which is also a milking scheme between him and the contractor.

Remaining funds will be for their usual revolving expenditures.

It's obviously Trump that had been trying to do attache by force. Things have changed.

Putin is stock on a mission, and he doesn't regard Trump's or America's input. Moreso, Trump seems to be talking too much, guys like Putin would keep laughing at him.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Seeks NASS' approval to borrow $24billion in foreign loans by Basicend: 9:07pm On May 27, 2025
Hmm. $24 billion? That's huge.

I thought they said subsidy removal will create savings and revenue for the govt.

Why do you prioritize high capital consuming projects when you know you don't have monies for even basic expenditures?

I heavily pity what our leaders are offering the unborn Nigerian children.

This is terrible.

Lol. An average Nigerian wants to circumvent required legal process, esp. today's youths.

We want to arrive there suddenly!

If it's not yahoo for guys, its hook-up for ladies, office or govt looting for elders, drugs traffics is for the bold minds. So, the chain continues.

But we all want Nigeria to be repaired one day, especially by one single leader.

Personally, the guy needs to pray (himself) to God to bring out his full glory. Am not talking about hiring pastors or prayer merchants.

I know some people are not religious and would think I am funny. But, something is obviously wrong. Osimhen had no business even in Turkey at this time in the first place.

Since the last 2 or 3 seasons, he had been mentioned in ranks with top 2 or 3 best strikers in the world, yet he could not get a seat in any real top grade club. One issue or the other.

His star still came out shinning in Turkey, but it can shine brighter at the best places.

Not like am saying Tinubu is a messiah or something.

I know lots of Nigerians are heavily suffering, but we can atleast see some consistent stability in FX price and it's uniformity. Gradually, foreign investments should improve.

But, I would rather prefer him (Tinubu) to complete his 8 years than have Atiku as president.

All his efforts are just for his pockets. A man that was just a vice president for 8 years and yet still so rich the no opposing politician can challenge him financially till date.

I pity Nigeria's treasury under his watch.

He is waisting his time and resources again.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Clashes With South African President At White House Meeting (Video) by Basicend:
Chienex24:
You just lay claims without facts. I presented my statements with you with facts.

Pm Meloni and Trump share the same view in a number of polices, chief of them all putting their countries ist, and immigration. It was on these policies that Meloni rose to power and not just because she is a lady. Trump never liked Germany policies and during his ist tenure, he showed disdain for Germany and Merkel, the female ruling chancellor of Germany then because Germany buys oil and gas from Russia who they claimed they imposed sanctions meaning they were not keeping to their own terms of agreement. Germany also had weak laws on immigration and all that.

And whether China is winning on trade war or not which is all you care about, I am actually pretty impressed with trump seeing a problem and making attempts to tackle it which is the hallmark of a leader, unlike previous past American presidents who saw the problem and yet did nothing about it. USA has a huge trade deficit with China, and china has already come to the table to renegotiate, which will at most reduce the huge trade deficit rather than do nothing about it.

We sit at our homes and choose whether we support a leader or not that doesn't concern us, while our own very leaders do nothing about the very problems bedeviling our nation. See the worsening security situation in the country in several states in Nigeria for instance, but as long as we are alive and it doesn't affect us, we bother more about a country practically implementing policies to address the needs of their country. We are really funny in this country
You reply is emotional, and not factual.

You have listed only 1 point that alligns Trump with Meloni's policies.

Trump has 1, 2 or 3 points of policies or more that he likes with other EU countries including Germany. Germany is America's biggest trading partner in EU.

Stop digressing. My point is, Trump cannot maltreat leaders of Saudi, China, Russia, Japan, Qatar etc. It's due to their worth and how they rank and carry themselves.

Why Putin is very confident and arrogant is bcoz he sits on over $75 trillion dollars worth of mineral resources (World's largest reserve). Same as some other countries above.

Tech and commodity trading can be subject to competition and it's dynamics can change.

If u listened to his interview with Canadian PM, he (Trump) said he loves to merge becos CA has what many others don't have.

Trump is a businessman, and that's the basic of it.

I will not reply further.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Clashes With South African President At White House Meeting (Video) by Basicend:
Chienex24:
He was much respected in Doha and across the Arab states he visited, so it was natural for him to behave like a good guy where he is honored. He actually does not expect to be always on top, as he respected PM Meloni of Italy very well when she came to white house. He obviously had issues with south Africa before Ramaphosa decided to come to the white house, and Trump does not pretend. He also was expecting zelensky to sign the minerals deal, but Zelensky wanted security guarantees ist which he didn't support. In summary, he respects those who respect themselves.
Trump's approach to Meloni was simply because she is a lady.

He would have applied his gangster attitude.

In technicalities, Italy's status ranks worse that Germany, UK, France, and perhaps Ireland etc that Trump has been maltreating their leaders.

He is not a reserved man with talks. He is full of himself and pompous. I just love the way China has heavily humbled him regarding the tariff war. He will understand his place now.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Clashes With South African President At White House Meeting (Video) by Basicend:
Trump that was celebrating having just 2 hours phone call with Russia's Putin few days ago. That's was a milestone.

He dreamt all weeks to get a phone call from President Xi of China. That one just sent a delegation of economic team to meet with the USA's team for talks.

People need to go and check his interview with the new Canadian PM, and the attitude and confidence of the PM from beginning to d end. Canada is the 4th largest country with mineral resources in the world with beautiful structures. One of the major reason Trump is eying the land.

Go and check his last meeting at oval office with the Japanese leader.

He knows who to mess with; countries like UK, EU etc.

Leaders of countries need to learn to put that clown in his place. Learn from the big guys.

From the comments above, one wonders the kind of marriages people are into these days.

No love or respect for the mother of your children.

It’s not well abeg.
The expression of those subject guys are the reflections of what today's society is getting from most ladies.

TBH, it's hard today to find loyal and kind-hearted woman as a wife. Many of them have been damaged and they stubbornly refuse to get healed.

You need a lot of work and wisdom to continuously tame a woman out of a distructive flow or a collective distructive order.

Just like the brothers above, I can never take a Nigerian woman abroad as a wife. Except the existing laws of those countries changes in time.

That's if there is even a need to relocate in the first place.

I love Tinubu for not being a religious bigot. Even his wife is allowed to practice as a pastor beside him.

I also love Peter Obi for his elaborate wisdom. He is seems a very worthy candidate for presidency.

Dr Fayemi, a great brain in there too.

It will be well with Nigeria. Kudos to these men.

All these excuses no cut am! The biblical Jesus can't be said to be a rich man but a poor! Most prophets are poor!

You are even richer today...
It was an image He had to carry to emphasize to us the importance of heavenly treasures above mundane things which are very temporal.

Devil wanted to give him the glory of this world at the mountain, instead he rebuked.

All prophets before him, and after him had anointing cut in measures, but Jesus was the full image of the power and glory of God. His oil was without any measure. That means, he can command anything he wanted. But instead subjected himself only the eyes of the father.

That was why he asked his disciples to go a get a coin from the mouth of a fish. He used few loaves of bread and fish to feed multitudes.

Turned water to wine at a wedding etc. He kept showing us that material things are minor issues and our goal should be the will of the Father first.

Even Jesus doesn't hate poverty! Jesus can be said to be extremely poor according to the Bible.
Jesus was not/never poor.

He commanded only the things the he needed at a time. Signalling to us that God supplies based on necessity. That is the highest height of kingdom power and authority.

He is the Lord and has unlimited command and access to all.

Lastly, Jesus does hate poverty or the poor. He loves all.

So they will freeze for the government contractors but the rest of us can go and die?
I just hope that someday in this country, a government like that of Toure will be in charge in this country to investigate the corrupt practices of not just those in government, but their civilian accomplices too.
More so, why is cement business so profitable that Dangote and BUA became so rich as no. 1 and no. 3 richest businessmen in Nigeria?

Is it that other investors are being chased or frustrated away for that sector? Or is it a licensing strain issue?

Something is just fishy in there.
