Many Americans will have to start cross-border to Canada for cheap things.
China will divert more exports to Canada and Brazil.
China was prepared for this war. An average Chinese can eat just once in a day just to ensure that his country thrives. Americans can't cope with suffering.

Trump actually has great foresight, the trend is clear.
His approach may appear crude. Am not saying it viable or will be effective at all.
His main aim is to secure American leadership in global economics. If he does not act immediately now, it will be too late in the next 2 or 3 years.
With China's explosive and cheap EVs finding ways to break into more EU and American markets. With continuous expansion of BRICS.
Trump feels the only way out is to use the dollar power and bully everyone into submission and re-negotiation.
It's a tough season for the world. Brace up everyone. |

Saladdin: Now this is someone with sense and decorum talking.
Every sane human regardless of their tribe, race and religion needs to prayer that China, Russia and the Axis win this economic war over the demonic West. Everyone is tired of hypocrisy, genocide and wokeism.
Some comments made earlier has led me to firmly believe that either Nairaland has been invaded by bots and paid Western agents or some people choose to be deliberately stupid.
One even stated that Africa will dump Chinese goods. Dump them for whose goods exactly? China is the reason most Africans now own a smartphone and use sophisticated gadgets.
Left to the West, they'll prefer to make those gadgets unaffordable for us.
But some goats on this forum would prefer to support the West, who have never hidden their disdain for us over China. Very unreasonable set of people. Truth is, people domiciled in Nigeria will be wise to support China. Coz if global manufacturing is re-established from America, 3rd world countries will suffer far more. The gap in per capital income is much. Whereas, those domiciled in the USA may be wise to support Trump and hope he is able to cage global trade under full American control again. Coz if US losses this battle, the citizens bears it's costs majorly. * Both USA and China are extremely interwoven economically, and both citizens and their business will suffer much in this period. Lots of downsizing and layoffs will occur. They should be prepared. |

Angelfrost: Chief, I am well grounded in the way of life in Nigeria and Abroad...!
I know both systems intimately.
You are still talking and speaking for less than a fraction of Nigerians.
If you subsidise the Japa path by over 40% today, you will have no health care, engineering and other professionals left in Nigeria! Facts!
Even your universities will be devoid of lecturers.
Now, regarding the credit system abroad, it's still a working system with a way around it for anyone with good financial intelligence.
It was designed to give the average working American a chance at living a good life which is not bad.
It's just like an average wage earner in Nigeria being able to own a car by paying a fraction every month over 3 years... That's making lives better.
Those who suffer high debts are those lacking discipline with regards to spending through Credit limits
See bro, I don't prefer one system to the other, but claiming that absence of credit in Nigeria is better since it keeps most citizens debt-free is overreaching.
Your low tax net in Nigeria is not an advantage please... It is part of what makes the nation backward, coupled with corruption and poor leadership. It's actually a 55:45 thing in a scale of preference for me. Nigeria should be slightly better for people that want to live less under pressure and debts. And also for people that strive to build resources. Honestly, an average American and even the govt have been trained to over-spend which is put their entire system in a hazardous status. Not to talk of an African immigrant's plight tru such a process. The country (US) is currently in debt of over $37 trillion. How on earth will they ever be able to pay such. Even the entire worth of the American mineral resources (combined) is just about $45 trillion. Imagine if US is currently not the clearing house for international trade, thus creating a global demand for dollar, their economic crisis would have been massive. Food security, overall security, better access to utilities and city infrastructure, abroad is better thou. It depends on your choice. |

jesusjnr2020: When I declared war on ritual killings and human sacrifices several years back, after a friend of mine narrowly escaped being a victim of such barbaric activities, I never knew that I would be coming up against some of the so-called prophets who were actually the brains behind most of the ritual-killings and human sacrifices going on the land.
It was only after I was compelled to fast for 3 days dry from June 1-3, which was after I had almost give up because of several setbacks and attacks I faced during that period despite all my praying and fasting, that made me begin to think the matter was beyond me and not one I could handle alone, that God began to reveal to me that I was actually chosen and prepared for this purpose at such a time as this.
First of all, shortly after I broke my fast at past midnight of June 4, God led me to 2 clips of late Benson Idahosa in quick succession, where he spoke of how God used him to address similar issues, including that of human sacrifices and ritual killings in his city, Benin, which subsequently led to the deaths of about 30 witches and occultists including their chiefs within 30 days.
It was the next day, June 5th, that the so-called "prophet" TB Joshua was reported to have died.
Despite having heard many questionable things from several persons about TB Joshua for several decades, including some here in the forum, I couldn't connect both instances and didn't have any idea of what had transpired.
Until I had a dream a couple of days later where I found myself right inside the building of his synagogue church of all nations, battling several manner of personalities inside, including one who seemed to be their leader that was staring at me from the balcony, who appeared very tall and had something like goggles on his eyes.
I was able to defeat 4 of them in the dream, one after the other, however afterwards still in the dream I heard one was left, and then I saw someone whose upper body looked like a woman but the lower body was like a tree with roots to the ground.
That was the last scene in the dream before I woke up.
It was afterwards it became clear to me what has actually transpired in the dream.
I later heard a preacher accusing TB Joshua of killing thousands of children and being the biggest witch in Africa among other things being said by other preachers that confirmed what had been revealed to me in the dream in addition to what I have been hearing for several decade which I didn't believe.
Wasn't surprised when his daughter and some of his disciples added credence to those stories after sharing their ordeal and those of others in the hands of late TB Joshua via a BBC documentary.
In the days when God used Benson Idahosa to address the practice of human sacrifices and ritual killings, those behinds such abominable acts were primarily witches, native doctors and occultists, however now they seem to have reinvented themselves to deceive many and make it much harder to figure them out as as more and more are coming out as prophets.
It seemed to have worked for TB Joshua as many fell for his falsehood, including my very self before God made me see through the facade, but up til now many are still deceived and there's nothing anyone would tell them to make them believe he was a false prophet and agent of the devil.
Not surprising though because Jesus warned us about the rise of many false prophets in the last days, so let's be watchful hence we also be deceived.
Matthew 24:11 (KJV)
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
God bless. Bro, The TB Joshua's legacies you have attacked here will bring a lot of hatred on you. . LOL. The man has a lot of disciples / followers who believes in him so much and they are very vengeful. If this ur write up is escalated, you will have massive enemies within Nigeria and Africa in particular. * It amazes me how our brothers and sisters cannot discern. Simply becoz we don't study the Word, and majorly, because our souls are not given completely to the Word of God. Each time a TB Joshua soldier attacks, I usually ask them one question; * What is their stand on holiness? Then you see them start calling u self-righteous and all manner of names. Jesus did not send anyone to accuse another. He said we should leave judgement to God. So, it's wise to do so. However, and lastly, when we commit ourselves to living a life of continous purity, God will make clear to us all the filthiness around us (including filthy vessels). Coz he wants us to climb higher towards Him. Kudos to you. |

Let us not go into what brought them into power after world war 1 and 2, and how they channelled this power to institutions so they can reach out to countries in need of aid and help them out. China is what it is today because it benefited from the so called "global dollar" you are condemning. Maybe Hitler could have won so every country in the world will be subject to them and and pay them taxes. Let me make it clear to you: Since 1973 when President Nixon of US aborted the Woods internetional trading agreement, US stopped pegging the USD to gold value. So currently a printed ($)dollar does not have any real value or collateral as it's back up. Here is the issue, if the USA buys for e.g $1 billion worth of mineral, natural or technological product from a country, the selling countries will supply goods worth $1 billion. However, USA is only parting away with about $1.4 million which is the cost of printing $1billion if they were $100 bills. There are other different scenerios. In international trading, there is supposed to be an equal exchange of value. The USA is supposed to give actual value to the dollar by the revenue it generates. But they have been in constant deficits recently. |

EU will collectively create a way out for themselves. That's what the deluded Trump doesn't get. Because they have the technological know-how, even thou they have limitations regarding mineral resources.
His approach is too sharp and wrong. Canada will in due time find a way out too, and likely connect with EU. They are even rich, they just need to wake up and stop being lazy.
