Regarding Fani, I believe Democrats often strive excessively to appear fair. While I understand the intention behind it, I think they sometimes sacrifice their own interests and allow unjust consequences to occur. Consider the Special Counsel Hur report. Under what other administration would a former political appointee from a rival administration be appointed as a Special Prosecutor for the current president during an election year? Garland's attempt to appear fair ended up being unfair to Biden. In the current political and electoral climate, relying on the goodwill of Republicans seems naïve.

So, after the judge makes a decision, there might be pressure for Willis to resign and for Wade to be removed in an effort to alleviate any perceived biases and headaches.
