SolutionMee:
Otedola disappointed me. I can't believe that he can stoop so low to host a drug fiend in his house not to talk of having a dinner with him. I also can't believe that the people of Lagos can be so enslaved to be obsessed with a drug baron like Tinubu. I overestimated their intelligence cuz instead of putting an end to his dynasty, they're building it. By now, Lagos should be competing with the likes of Dubai and California. All the development were halted due to the incompetence of one man and due to the negligence of Lagosians. That's why the rich keeps getting richer.... no matter who the leaders are they make peace with them all... both the bad and the good. That way they become richer. |

ImperialYoruba: People throw their waste out on the streets because they lack sense of ownership and do not think trashing the city affects them. Same people with same mindset will ruin developments on the scale of global standards that you are talking about. Change in mindset must preceed the utopian cities of our dreams. Baba keep quite... the way citizens behave is been effected by their leaders... if the government doesn't tolerate illegal trashing of waste... the people will also do the same.... the fear of them breaking that law will make them not do it, because the government doesn't do same...... if in nigeria government, and leaders, and top people in the society don't bypass the traffic by taking one way, or which ever way they do... the masses won't do same for the fear of the law, thereby building that kind of lifestyle. Lagos deserves more than 1000% of the services the government is rendering to her. Goan check how much lagos generates in one day... and everywhere is wack, and stinking... you're here talking rubbish |

pooozeee: I parked my car jejely along Ligali Ayorinde V.I patiently waiting for the next request to come in on uber around 10pm, then two young guys in their 30s approached me and engaged me in an unnecessary conversation, I wasn't interested in them but they were just talking and talking they even show me their uber and taxify app telling me that they have made a lot of money from uber and taxify that there is a way to trick uber and taxify app for riders to pay more money than usual blablabla and so on. The conversation did not end after 30mins one of them was even trying to tap my shoulder when talking to me from outside bcus my class was wind up almost to the tip. Holy Ghost spoke to me that I should move quickly from that location that those two guys are robbers trying to find a perfect moment to strike That was how God saved me I want to advice everyone to learn from my story always be careful when you speak with faces not familiar to you An uber driver was killed in my area and his car snatched from him but thank God for the car tracker inside the car, the robbers were caught the next day
But Bros you sef... how will you Goan park at Ligali Ayorinde by 10pm? You no see other better places? We shouldn't be risking our lives ooo..... these robbers are ordinary people, they just play on our smartness, and unawareness. |

Who else has noticed the new way taxify scam us (drivers) they tell you do 15 trips to get 4500, 75% acceptance rate, and then 15 hrs online. But if a rider place a request, you accepted and drove to the pickup location, then the rider cancels...taxify would reduce your acceptance rate, another one is flash trip.... maybe you've completed your 15 trips and it 30 minutes to the end of the bonus...then you go check your acceptance rate heheheheh the next thing you see 69%, you'd be so confused asking yourself how come....only to check your history and see a ghost trip tagged driver did not respond taxify na scam. |

fabienjoe: Can't people just comment without insulting other ethnic groups? What's the meaning of this rubbish? Comments like this one put me off some topics on this forum. If you insult an entire race because of the perceived infrastructural deficits of Lagos, have you ever tried accessing villages in Enugu state? Most of you here would praise Ugwuanyi to high heavens but my first visit to some Enugu villages felt like a Time Warp..Practically back to the stone age..'Remote' is a mild word in this case...muddy and slippery roads, wooden, creaking bridges across rivers, bikes transporting 4 full grown adults (including women), no electricity etc..I know real Igbos are better than the peurille and illiterate comments I come across here but they paint a negative picture of an ordinarily enterprising and intelligent race. My friend in those villages you'll get mansion, and it's a big lie the roads are not what you're saying......or look nearby they'd be a city around. .....but before you open your mouth and talk jagons come to imude, etegbin, shibiri, muwo, etc and know if weather you will not see worse case than the enugu example you've just used, funny enough they are inside the great lagos....you all are forgetting that lagos was ones the capital city of nigeria..... yet the infrastructure...... infact in lagos there should be light and good road everywhere but... ambode keep stealing as commanded by his godfather Tinubu.... I spent 3hrs yesterday from the great lagos island to osapa london.... |

Ehiscotch: Have you ever asked any lagosian plying that route and they attested to all being well?
You all would just come with you generalization, whether because of hate or jealousy I really do not understand.
Not everywhere is developed in any state in any country. oga shaaa appreciate, have you ever been through the lagos badagry express in your life? You're living in Maryland and typing rubish, I literally spent my whole day yesterday on that useless road, Going from volks to osapa london and back, left my house in the morning about 11am, I got to osapa london by 6 pm because I was driving it was on lock down. .... coming back I got to my house by 12 am....... lagos is the economic hub of nigeria, and generates money that the whole ghana can't generate if you don't know, but look at the road leading out of the giant of Africa. ...and you're spitting venom from your mouth...if na me be togolese wae won enter nigeria I'd definitely turn back. |

webincomeplus: Lagos might be "overhyped" or "dirty". But that doesn't stop some people from trooping into Lagos en masse as though their mission in life can never be accomplished outside Lagos. Interestingly, these same people come to the Lagos they pretend to hate, and they stay there forever.
Hate Lagos as much as you can, but it remains the leading state in Nigeria, and home to the biggest opportunities in the country. Left for the yoruba's alone lagos would be nothing..... now lemme tell you the secret to lagos success, apapa seaport.. this is the only thing still making lagos boom. Because there are no other working port anywhere in the country.... and lagos generates heavy billions from that place, this is the reason they are fighting so another deep seaport would not be placed in another state, just make ibom a deep seaport that can contain a megaship which carries about 13000, to 15000 container...and see the market shift from lagos.... I was discussing with one business man that lives in ikoyi, he was lamenting so much that if not for the seaport he'd have not bought a house in lagos, talk more of ikoyi........my friend don't sit in your room and type poo..... afonjas are the real proper in this country... their men are so lazy not wanting to work hard for their money metcheeeeeeeww. |
