Career / About Relocating To Nigeria From The United States by BayoAdex(m): 5:44am On Jun 16, 2015
Good morning everyone, I am an American naturalized citizen and currently a studying chemical engineering in the United States. My plan is to relocate to Nigeria after the completion of my program (plus an MBA) with the aim of working in a top oil and gas/petrochemical firm, as life in the U.S to me is "monkey dey work baboon dey chop".

Please I need your candid advise whether relocating to Nigeria is something reasonable. By the way I used to live in Lagos and Ibadan, I left Nigeria about 5 years ago so I pretty much still have a feel. Please Engineers in the house and my honorable people, I need your advise. Thank you.

Big thanks to everyone I appreciate ur sincere contributions. @ Mr Gbenge now pls I need u on this: I plan to visit d US again in a week or two to file for change of status and start my student life, however, concerning d 30/60 rule ie stayin in america for 2 months before filling so as not to arouse suspicion of pre conceived motives: how I'm I sure the immigratn officer at d border to interview me on purpose and all won't jst give me a duration of stayin for just 2 weeks or a month? Wat do u think I can tell d entry clearance officer I'm comin to do I the US that can make him/ her grant me a long stay of 2 months or more so as to perfectly (and in a problem free manner) change my status. All other contributions are welcome. Thanks all.

As per visa, its gettin more difficult now but there are always some guys (agents sha) around their embassy in Victoria Island (Lagos)
who can help u wit invitation bt u ve to pay dem o nt sure of the price now. Also many ibo guys go to china daily try and hook up with dem around Alaba market or Ladipo they can surely be of help for invitation.

Travel / U.k Easter Visit - Pls Help by BayoAdex(m): 11:55am On Jan 23, 2010
Nairaland has been a darlin to me since i joined and i can think of a day or2 without me logging in. Thanx to d creator and all other members. thanks thanks Thanks to all.
Pls i need help on this issue. I want to visit the U.K as a first time applicant this Easter period, however, i have no relations in U.K that can invite me. I thought of doing hotel reservation (not with credit card o i will send a friend to actually go and pay at the hotel) so as to serve as the invitation for tourism as i wanna get back to my work in 2 weeks. A month ago, i was introduced to an guy who just came back from U.K to a friend. The guy helps pple to get invitation, book hotel and all those stuffs sha. He has helped 2 pple dat my friend knows and also my friend too (but my friend wasnt given visa cos he went and put some 3m in his a/c to boost a/c and dat was only reason for denial by uk embassy) I discussed with him and he promised to get me all d docs for family visit and i will pay him 150,000 naira- 80, 000 down payment and 70,000 when i get d visa (God willing). To be sure of him, i requested he brings copies that he has with him and he brought a guy's documents - paspport page (uk citizen, bank statement, evidence of mortgage, payslips and other docs sha which are in coloured photocopy. he said he just brought the from Uk for someone. the guy sounds confident and advise dat i shouldnt do reservation as U.K favours family visit and im quite young 24 yrs (without wife and kid).
My sister who stys in America thinks Business Visa is better mayb get travelling agencies that package trade fairs and exhibitions and get invited for an exhibition.
Considering the Muttalab bomber issue hasnt helped as well cs these pple will be very reluctant nw as i also have a muslim name as my last name- Abdullahi.
Plss I need candid advise from nairalanders on what to do cs i have all docs in nija. Pls help on what to do. Thanks to all
Sports / Re: Nff Should Bring Back Stephen Keshi! by BayoAdex(m): 9:58pm On Jan 21, 2010
Make i tell everyone, Amodu has really really tried (at least getting us into d World Cup) bt he's really under pressure
cs it's written all over him grin grin. The solution for me is this. We need a coach that can stand FIRM on his decision which i dont think any
Nigerian coach possess (maybe Siasia sha -as per dropping Mikel for Olympics). It's too late now to appoint a foreign coach so we should stick to Amodu. D main problem 4 naija football and sports in general is the leadership, dem Ogunjibi and co don tire us. Walai we need a change which can only be achieveable wen d youths GET TOGEHER, BE STRONG, UNITE AND KNOW IT IS OUR TIME TO TAKE CONTROL TO FRUSTRATE THESE OLD FOOLS OUT BE IT IT SPORTS, NATIONAL POLITY, EDUCATION AND OTHER RAMIFICATIONS OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC LIFE IN NIGERIA.
