My name 'Orunmila' in yoruba means 'the god of
knowledge'
Wrong!
Orunmila - Orun lo mo eni ti o la = HEAVEN KNOWS WHO WOULD SUCCEED.

Though, Orunmila is highly acknowledged because of his wisdom and knowledge but that's not the meaning of the name.

Ontarget:
Not an excuse for guys to be wrong. What I'm saying is girls should take responsibility for the choice they made. There are better guys she should have chosen. She failed to use common sense to scrutinize the guys and make a good choice.
I agree with you but you really think common sense can actually pick out the right person when it comes to issues of this nature.
You just pray you don't end up with the wrong person, that's all.

lol yh. I just wonder why a girl wil b makin yanga and wil be catwalkin only for her fingernails to be dirty. Or her toenails.
Not everyone is blessed with cute nails. Some would always look dirty plus most ladies paint and fix their nails. So it's really not easy seeing their natural nails

Family › Re: Do You Believe In Karma? Share the Story by Beamborla(f): 4:10pm On Mar 11, 2015
I believe in karma. I think it's God's way of bringing us back to our senses.
If you do smth wrong and you see the karma quick enough, lucky you. A father would only rebuke the child he loves and does not want to perish.

As for those we feel should be serving serious punishment but are walking around freely, all I have to say is the devil has a way of keeping one from realizing he or she is heading for destruction until it's too late and to deceive others into destruction.

I also believe God keep sparing them because he wants them to repent of their unruly behavior.

My defence is on Tuesday but what can I do without my supervisor?
Romance › Re: Petite Ladies, how Do You Cope by Beamborla(f): 2:13pm On Mar 11, 2015
Just smile and lock up...

I wanted to board a keke to school to see my supervisor this morning when an elderly man in the keke looked at me and was like

'don't you think you are late'?
I was confused didn't know he was referring to me until he told me
'what time is your jamb'?
'Why are you just going?

I only looked at him and smiled... by then the driver was done giving the guy who alighted his change and as God would have it, the keke was not going my way if not, it wouldn't have been easy explaining myself to the man

Sometimes is really cool but most times it's annoying.

tosyne2much:
mind you, I don't treat my ladies with disdain or haughty contempt

You said ladies are taught to hide their sexual pleasure and you further added that sex should be discussed b4 a relationship... Don't you think you are contradicting yourself ?

Why on earth would one sit a lady down and expect discuss sex b4 a relationship. I mean what do you expect her to say ? She wants it ?

[/i]
Okay! Take e easy... ma ti binu.
I never implied you treat them funny.

Yes, I mentioned that they've been taught to keep it in check and that it's a topic that should be discussed.

I've been taught to always be a super woman but isn't it proper someone I love and who claim to love me as well create an enabling environment where I can easily speak my mind on the forbidden topic? I used the word OPEN MIND.

Who goes into a relationship without discussing sex with his or her partner?

Yes, I expect her to say yes or no and mean it. Why withhold such information from whom I claim to love. If you don't discuss it with her, who will you discuss it with?
