I remember the use of harp, tambourine, trumpet e.t.c in different portions of the Bible. In those days, the disciples used leg for their ministry including Jesus himself but today, we use car and even aircraft. Should we say because they were not in use back then, it's not appropriate to use them now. I believe your sole purpose for doing whatever you are doing should justify you so long it didn't bring about the backsliding of anyone and does not bring shame or reproach to the body of Christ.

I can allow my husband do the first but the second, no way! I would rather back the baby while he carry the bag before all his family members start pleading with me or shouting at me to untie their son. That aside, I wouldn't want anyone to disrespect him or fingers pointing at him whenever he steps out.

"I got Flowers today"

Got Flowers Today

I got flowers today. It wasn't my birthday or any other special day. We had our first argument last night. He said a lot of cruel things that really hurt me. I know he was sorry and didn't mean the things he said. Because I got flowers today.

I got flowers today. It wasn't our anniversary or any other special day. Last night, he threw me into a wall and started to choke me. It seemed like a nightmare. I couldn't believe it was real. I woke up this morning sore and bruised all over. I know he must be sorry Because he sent me flowers today.

I got flowers today. It wasn't Mother's Day or any other special day. Last night, he beat me up again. And it was much worse than all other times. If I leave him, what will I do? How will I take care of my kids? What about money? I' m afraid of him and scared to leave. But I know he must be sorry Because he sent me flowers today.

I got flowers today. Today was a very special day. It was the day of my funeral. Last night he finally killed me. He beat me to death.

If only I had gathered enough courage and strength to leave him, I would not have gotten flowers today.

This poem is dedicated to all the victims and survivors of Domestic Violence.

You ask, why didn't she leave?

I ask, why did he hit?

(I say She's DEAD)

I Hope this helps you. In your case you are not married yet... my dear, borrow legs and run for your life

Hmmmm... na wa o! What's the use of your apology and applause from the onset then? You want to ridicule someone, yet you started by applausing and apologizing to the person? that makes it more annoying.

You meant no offence?

Even if the properties belong to the state government, what exactly do they want to do with it by collecting it back?

They just must use their power.

Just wow!

Please if you can't engage in an intelligent discourse without getting annoyed then you shouldn't be here, having said that, did you understand what you wrote in the post I quoted? It's obvious you don't, given that you can't even make out that my reply to your post, isn't about your family but your belief that, whoever sits in front has the best relationship with the person driving, while the not so important friend sits in the back, that's just me quoting you.

Now this is meant to annoy you so I employ you to fasten your belt lest you fall off your imaginary 'best' position. I bet your younger sister grew up and you remain a kid if you can think, she's beside him shining while you sit at the back and stare at his head, like how old are you? She's sinning because she is sitting in front? What a bummer.

What kind of access does the front sit give that you don't have with a supposed bf? Grow up, get some exposure and then come talk to me.
I won't bicker with you. You are way to inconsequential to make me do that

freecocoa:
wow! So you determine the kind of relationship you have with someone by where you sit in a car for a journey of how many hours? This is just wonderful.

I bet your dad loved you less because his wife sat in front with him,how about when he drove only you kids? Did he love the one who sat in front more than he did the rest? This your theory sha.

Anyone could sit in front in my house while we were growing up, my mum even loved the back seat because it enabled her sleep peacefully whenever we traveled, this did not affect our family relationship for a second.
I wouldn't know if you just want to annoy me or you didn't see a better way to present your argument. My younger sister was a kid and psychology made us realize the father is always the first love of a girl child that should explain why she wants the front seat. The relationship between my dad and my mum is different from that which I have with him. I can't remember including the duration of the journey

That's why it's inevitable for me to have my own car... I will jejely opt for my own car.

People keep asking what's the fuss over front seat for? The relationship between a driver and his boss is that of 'stop here 'Yes, sir'. The driver uses the front mirror to communicate with his boss.

Relationships are not like that. Even when just three friends are in a car together, the one who gets to sit in front is always the one who has the best relationship with the person driving while the not so important friend sit in the back.

It's not just about the front seat, it's the kind of access it gives the person in the front seat to the person driving. I can't stand the fact that all I would see all through is the back of his head and he wouldn't even be able to see me at all while she would just be there shining beside him.

I can sit in the back seat if it's just the two of us in the car or if the other person is a male friend. If she must sit in front, she should drive then while my boyfriend seats in the back with me.

Any guy who respects and love his girlfriend would know not put his girlfriend in such situation. If I sit in the back seat today, tomorrow, he would ask me to take a cab while he packs all his female friends in the car.

I remember my younger sister and my used to fight over the front seat when she was still a baby. 'This is my daddy's car, go and seat in the front seat of your own daddy's car' she would tell my mum. And my mum would reply her 'this is my husband's car, if you must seat in the front seat, wait till you have your own husband'

I've been seeing threads about vurginity always aimed at ladies of'cos. It's really Okay to write about virginity but when doing that, I think some group of people; rape victims to be precise should always be put into consideration. Threads of this nature and some comments therein could ignite their trauma leading to depression or cause more damage.
