Romance / Re: Sweet Extras A Loving Wife Gives To Her Husband. by beamed: 7:38pm On Jan 09, 2015
Thanks. She left me with a boy. Still looking for a good lady. But seems hard to find one. The right lady will come; that I know.

Romance / Re: Sweet Extras A Loving Wife Gives To Her Husband. by beamed: 4:31pm On Jan 09, 2015
My late wife did and you just reminded me of her. I'm sooooooo sad she's not longer here. Now I can chuckle to myself that God sent her to me. She was 28yrs.

emusmith:

I still believe this is possible.
Some ladies exist that could do this. Yes! I don't know if they're on NairaLand sha but I know they're alive somewhere.
You can call them Love Doctors. They are the ones R.Kelly was referring to when he sang that song titled, "WHEN A WOMAN LOVES"

Guys, if you find such ones, you'll be walking on the streets smiling. People will be like, Is this man mad? Yes! You're madly in love with your wife.

Follow me as I highlight Seven Sweet Extras A Wife Does For Her Husband

NOTE: This is not applicable to all males/ females.

1. Cutting his toenails.

She notices your toenails growing so long and you know, some men don't care about "little things" like that. She does it for him. At that moment, she is in charge of his heart! She is 50% sure of getting whatever she wants. DON'T MAKE THAT YOUR AIM.

2. Jumping and Playing on his back

Stop being an adult all of a sudden! Play and leap on his back.
One of many things a man loves but much familiarity and 'over maturity' won't let him know how to even spew it out of his mouth is this.
She better not be robust, lol...Even if she's robust, the man can still manage it...

3. Feeding him

This is especially when he is not too strong... Even when he is sound, doing it brings flavour to your relationship and give him the butterfly feeling. No matter how "ajekpako" he is, he loves it. He loves the feeling. Give it to him. Put the garri in his mouth. That's how to take a man's heart. Not by dragging rights!

4. Helping him knot his tye

This may look foreign, but No! It is not meant for the first five months of your marriage only. Some ladies came to me to teach them how to knot a tie- they want to be doing this for their husband.
It's fun and it shows love!

5. Massaging his laps and legs

Sometimes, your man returns from early morning road work or even from work. You see him complaining of how his laps are so heavy. Give him a massage. Massage his laps, legs and toes, if possible.

6. Constantly Packaging
Food in his food flask to work.

My friend's aunty does this. He packs for the children and the husband too. The husband so much talk about her in the office, other men get intimidated and employed the scheme, lol! This man loves his wife! They are not soooo wealthy...She works o. The man comes from work every day to get a glass of juice first, then bathroom and food...TV and bed. The man too will perform well on bed by force na...

7. Welcoming him with a peck from work as she takes his suit.

If it is good for the goose then it is good for the gander. It is not just a "White People" thing. It is a practice that could change your husband's treatment of you.

He loves you whether you do these things or not BUT when you train yourself to do them, he will not only love you, He will LIKE you.

LIKING someone is admiring the person.
He may love you just for peace to reign and the law demands it.
But for him to really really really LIKE you, you have to somehow go out of your way to do some LITTLE EXTRAs to HELPing him better.

DON'T SAY YOU CAN'T TRY THIS FOR A NIGERIAN MAN. It is a lie! Love has no language. It is the language you give it that it assumes. Love is universal. If it works for that white lady, it will work for you because we are the same.

Have a nice day. undecided

Talking about heroes, these are not and will never be. Check behind Mandela and Luther, you could see mass movement of deprived common masses behind them. Who do you see behind these? Well-to-do, healthy looking, well dressed in agbada, babariga or suite. Please check it out bro. These guys are mean and are only fighting to continue to make laws that perpetuate them in office. Monsiuer Keshi just had himself crucified. He chose his team. He designed it just as he wanted. He must accept every flak from football loving Nigerians and leave the post with immediate effect. There's no reason even to continue as he's yet to sign a new contract. To me, walking away is the only reasonable thing to do. Apology? Not even necessary.

A doomed dog will never heed the hunter's whistle. Let's thank him for the past and let him go. It's time to hire someone with sound knowledge of how football should be played.

Elijah was taken away by chariot of fire. Moses went to the hill top and nevr came back. Only knows what happened there. So where did the word "purgatory" come from ? Just like "Trinity", who manufactured the word "purgatory" ? I've combed my bible and I can't seem to find the usage of the two words. Please educate me.
Religion / Re: Praying For The Dead by beamed: 11:27pm On Nov 16, 2012
haibe: And as it is appointed vnto men once to die, but after this the judgement:
(heb 9:27)

Will the prayer change God's standard of judgement? If it wont, then i think the prayer is meaningless. God can't be mocked, you cant live a sinful life and expect one prayer to save you when you die, common sense should tell us that, if the prayer could save, then jesus dint need to die for our sins since we can be saved after a prayer when we are dead.

Thank you sir. No comment from my side. The blind that has refused to see will continue to perpetually be in darkness. Beyond reading and citing quotes, it's necessary to receive revelation on this topic. God will always be right. Jesus is Lord. Enough of the veneration of some dead people.

Thanks, I am fan of creativity, visionary leadership and painful advancement in the right direction. I dare say the ban of Okada on select routes is one of those painful advancement decision that Lagos State had to make. We just need one City in Nigeria that can be comparable to the global cities of 21st century, and If Fashola is making that a reality with the Lagos MasterPlan restoration then he has my support. I know there are going to be casualties of this advancement. We have been witnesses of the mockery of Lagos State in the international media as a slum and Makoko water front was always used a case study by Christian Purefoy, then at the CNN, thank God we are spared that embarrassment due to his disengagement from the CNN. Back to Eko Masterplan, We clamour for alternative sources of income for the Okada people, but we are quick to forget that most Okada riders are illegal immigrants from our beloved neighboring countries. What the government needs to do is set up a Hire Purchase Transport Scheme for the Nigerian Okada riders who are affected by the ban. We should rather be talking about alternative transport system for the commuters from street to street. There is a case study at Calabar where taxi ply street by street, Lagos should adopt such strategy by introducing inter-street transit systems.

The birth of a megacity does not come cheaply but I tell you Lagos govt has put the cart before the horse. Now you mention street by street transport among other things. The issues has to do with the highways where the roads are riddled with drum holes and consequently traffic is slowed. For a person living on the island, you not be privileged to see the chaos at various mainland bus stops. From Agbado to ijaiye to agege to ikeja all the way to oshodi. Ikorodu road, apapa road, okokomaiko, ajangbadi are places you'll see people sweat it out. The ban would have make sense if the roads are ok. Worse still when the community gathers to do something about the roads, somebody just shows up from alausa to frustrate the community effort claimimg that it's government responsibility. Yet no action from them. It seems to me that power of positive reasoning is lacking in our leaders. Ban them if you must but do the right things first.

Politics / Re: Okada Riders Beat-up LASTMA Officers by beamed: 12:09pm On Nov 06, 2012
I don't know what to say about LASTMA. On my way to a wedding ceremony, apparently unsure if I was about to enter into a wrong way, I immediately pull over and beckoned to the LASTMA controlling Traffic. This happened at Oshodi. He directed me and I proceeded only for them to run after me and got me arrested for plying a wrong way. Is this what they are told to do ? Worst is their mannerism and tout like behaviour. Yet some people celebrate them. The battle line is drawn between me and them. I have my own plans.

Again, I want to question the manner the police are going about enforcing this okada ban. Just at the exit of the opebi link road to oregun, I witnessed what could have resulted into the death of 3 people - the rider and two women. The police patrol van recklessly crushed the okada to the ground. Now the the rider was quick to get up and took to his heels. Nevertheless they went after him pointing their guns as if he were an armed robber. Would these same policemen chase a BOKO HARAM on the loose ? It was not sufficient that the rider left his bike for them to confiscate, they chased and chased . . . I didn't see the end of it because the traffic light signalled me to drive. The fate of the other women remained unclear to me. My question is, must you kill and maim to enforce this ban ? And talking about the roads, where are they ? May be death traps instead of roads. Yes the roads are many and mapped yet the navigator gets you confused by misleading you to go on pot holes ridden routes in which your judgment would probably have been better. We celebrate mediocrity too much jo. Eko o ni baaje but Eko to me don dey spoil. Ban them if you must but not kill them and fix the roads and I'll know you're up to something. Besides we don't need to glorify you for doing any good because that's what we elected you to do in the first place. "Aguda o je la be geesi, ise owo wa la wa nje - Orlando Owoh"

Idi-Amin:
Need your opinion, me and my wife always disgree about something. It's nothing major, but she takes it too serious.

We have 3 kids. 7 year old boy, and twin girls, 4 years old. My wife has a problem that I do not hide my unclothedness from my kids. If I am urinating in the toilet, and my son wants to pee as well, he comes beside me and pees, and he will even joke and try to shoot my pee with his pee. I do not tell him to wait outside so that he does not see my manliness. Even if we are in the bedroom and I'm lotioning up and daughters run into the room, i do not hide and tell them to go outside so they do not see my manliness! Why should I do that? they are my children. My wife will tell them to go outside.

If we have no visitors at home, and Im taking a bath, I dont lock the bathroom door. My wife would come and say 'you need to lock the door, these children can come in' and I will be like 'So? they are my children'

she keeps telling me it's not proper in our culture, it is morally wrong and can cause disrespect, it does not happen in Nigeria, bla bla
I can understand where she is coming from. I stayed at home for 23 years and I can say I have never seen my father's manliness (or maybe I did as a small child and can't remember).

Is it wrong?

Only the true Idi-Amin(Dada) will do what you have just confessed. I thank everyone for saying no to you and yes to your wife. It's isn't proper oga Idi-Amin.

Just when you think they've hit rock bottom, they'l slap you for underestimating them and pickup their shovel and keep digging again.people who I'm supposed to be looking up to are saying trash like this. If nigeria imports N1bn worth of rice, isn't that a good thing in the sense that they know there is a huge demand there and they should make conscious efforts to channel that money into PROFESSIONALLY producing this commodity locally? I'm sure this slow poke of a man ate rice the morning he made this statement and would eat rice again in the evening. I weep for leadership in this hell-hole

solidbroda: U stay in an expensive area where standard of living is so high. Come to Iyana- Ipaja, Mushin, Cement, or preferably, sango- otta. Ask seun, sango otta is cheap and wonderful for leaving. Cut your cloth accordingly. And ur 80k per month will reduce to 40k

Much as I'd love to agree with you, I have my doubt that expenditure drops by living "off campus". For instance, have you considered how much you'll be spending on transportation on a daily basis and the attendant stress. Constant breakdown in health as a result of stress. I just pray God blesses him with a better job and provides for his wife too.
