There's a way poverty conceal your true identity. His true nature is just being revealed. With time, he will eventually live the same lifestyle on the mainland as he is at Lekki. Bankruptcy and other vicissitudes of life has a way of restoring an individual to the default settings in many instances. I hope it doesn't get to that in your case. Weird things happens though as he might be lucky with more good connections but the odds are narrow. nlfpmod: |

Jones4190: When you fix, you're probably at liberty to remove the spare part used in fixing it while you re-install the faulty part. You can't take the pumping machine away because the tenants didn't buy it. You can only take what you bought away but you must drop the faulty one back. |

I had a similar experience and had to confide in a female medical personnel who schooled me on female reproductive anatomy. The thing is women are prone to infection especially from the toilet. In some women, infections are able to hide and will only manifest in the manner you're seeing it now. Men reacts quickly to such infections and are able to treat it earlier. Women, I was told tend not to notice early because the usual monthly flow assists in a way to hide the infection which are mostly coped from toilets. Just go and have her treated and endeavour to treat yourself should you be infected too. Allow for time for her to attain hormonal balance and you will give thanks to God-She will conceive. Please maintain a good hygiene and tell her to be mindful of sanitary conditions of conveniences she uses. Don't stress over it. You'll win. I'm not a doctor but I have experienced it with my wife. mbahdi: |

Similar scenario played out with me just that our meeting was quite different from yours. Mention of my late wife unsettles her and I have come to learn how to maintain some sanity by making her know my stand. I'm careful when topics are brought up for discussions and I choose who to discuss anything about my late wife with which has helped me a lot. It's not easy to deal with women especially people passing through something similar to this. My late wife is an exact opposite to my current wife but I have gained control over the situation - It's not easy my man. The Lord will help you. Please study her more before you commit. I didn't have that opportunity before plunging into it. While you have to make compromises, never be less a man. |

In my opinion, the lecturer actually got it wrong. It was going to be a smart way of saying answer question 1 & 2 only but it's not proper to include the instruction as part of the question. Would have made sense to me if question 1 is clearly typed out above before numbering the other questions. Just thinking . . . 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Fulani Herdsmen Cause Accident On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by beamed: 8:59pm On May 04, 2016 |
Our carelessness in this part of the world is nothing but legendary. I drove on this axis on Monday night and saw the fallen tanker. It happened around lotto as reported just after NNPC filling station. Usually, the spot is always unlit and driving from Lagos approaching lotto demands patience which only a sane driver can have. I saw the imminent danger as I approached lotto on Monday night as I could perceive from a distance an unsual object by the road. This happens to be the fallen tanker. Besides, the odour of the spilled product was there for anyone who cares to perceive. Got my speed under control and reason within, this place will go up in flames soon because most motorist never slowed down approaching lotto albeit it's peculiar nature - it's a bit steep as you approach from Lagos and narrows into almost one lane. It's also a bit curvy. Now the report says, an SUV drove past with a rim and no tire, ignited the spilled product. It's sad how we allow things get bad before adopting common sense. Let's be careful folks. Let's be sensitive too. |

UrbanMystique: Applause, applause. Got no issue with your smartness. Just trying to see it from another perspective. I also want to assume you don't put the rest of the family into consideration when you watch alone on your tab. Summary is, it's a world of choices. Subscription is a bit on the high side I agree but I wonder why those who once had this right couldn't stand the test of time. You go into business to make profit and better peoples life especially your employees. To most people, it should be free. NTA, AIT and others are free but what are we fed with ? ocelot2006: C'mon, changing of logo. I call it window dressing. Let's not go there my friend. Let me recount how everything became a batter during his tenure. Albarka airline had a batter arrangement and each time I found myself travelling official assignment, I'm told by airline that quota for the flight is exhausted. One day I asked who are the people in the aircraft that I had intended to travel with ? I was dismayed to find that they were all silverbed group staff. Need say, batter arrangement with albarka airline was to reserve a specified number seats for NTA staff on every local trip but it happens that silverbed staff enjoyed it most. |

Mordyb: What expansion are you referring to ? Yes 3 stations per state and we were supposed to have 108 of them. Stations without transmitters. Those who had couldn't transmit because of one issue or the other. Guy I was in that system and I just couldn't hide my disappointment. He and executive director finance purchased technical equipment for NTA. Ben is brilliant no doubt but he had his agenda. Stella Obasanjo was a blessing to him during his tenure. Many unscrupulous acts of his were well covered Too many things to talk about jare. Thomson broadcast vs JVC. All these are still fresh in my memory. |

Politics / Re: Buhari To Ojukwu’s Mother In A 1984 Cartoon by beamed: 10:46am On Jan 10, 2016 |
After 13 years in exile, the Federal Government of Nigeria under President Shehu Aliyu Usman Shagari granted an official pardon to Odumegwu-Ojukwu and opened the road for a triumphant return in 1982. The people of Nnewi gave him the now very famous chieftaincy title of Ikemba (Strength of the Nation, while the entire Igbo nation took to calling him Dikedioramma ("beloved hero of the masses" during his living arrangement in his family home in Nnewi, Anambra. His foray into politics was disappointing to many, who wanted him to stay above the fray. The ruling party, NPN, rigged him out of the senate seat, which was purportedly lost to a relatively little known state commissioner in then Governor Jim Nwobodo's cabinet called Dr. Edwin Onwudiwe. The second Republic was truncated on 31 December 1983 by Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, supported by General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Brigadier Sani Abacha. The junta proceeded to arrest and to keep Ojukwu in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison, Lagos, alongside most prominent politicians of that era. Having never been charged with any crimes, he was unconditionally released from detention on 1 October 1984, alongside 249 other politicians of that era—former Ministers Adamu Ciroma and Maitama Sule were also on that batch of released politicians. In ordering his release, the Head of State, General Buhari said inter alia: "While we will not hesitate to send those found with cases to answer before the special military tribunal, no person will be kept in detention a-day longer than necessary if investigations have not so far incriminated him."
