redcliff: Men, most of the old cargo-s holding public office don't fail to dissapoint me. Just when you think they've hit rock bottom, they'l slap you for underestimating them and pickup their shovel and keep digging again.people who I'm supposed to be looking up to are saying trash like this. If nigeria imports N1bn worth of rice, isn't that a good thing in the sense that they know there is a huge demand there and they should make conscious efforts to channel that money into PROFESSIONALLY producing this commodity locally? I'm sure this slow poke of a man ate rice the morning he made this statement and would eat rice again in the evening. I weep for leadership in this hell-holeCouldn't agree more. I salute your reaction and mine is no different. |
Watch out for a "soap series" on this. ![]() |

solidbroda: U stay in an expensive area where standard of living is so high. Come to Iyana- Ipaja, Mushin, Cement, or preferably, sango- otta. Ask seun, sango otta is cheap and wonderful for leaving. Cut your cloth accordingly. And ur 80k per month will reduce to 40kMuch as I'd love to agree with you, I have my doubt that expenditure drops by living "off campus". For instance, have you considered how much you'll be spending on transportation on a daily basis and the attendant stress. Constant breakdown in health as a result of stress. I just pray God blesses him with a better job and provides for his wife too. |
xammy: WEMA BANK 035150103Thanks for this. Now does it mean I don't have to worry about the particular branch ? |
Who will arrests military and police patrol vans driving on one way. LASTMA guys also drives on one way. I'd appreciate if the same law takes care of this. |
TY tayo: Deji Badmus will not fit into any other Nigerian station. Well maybe NN24 would do but I will really miss him.NN24 is officially dead. Check it out. |
Just completed the process of renewal at Ikeja. I was issued a temporary license pending the arrival of the real thing in 60days time. The procedure is quite simple. A noble idea no doubt but the problem is the people. Applicants still come to FRSC OFFICES with cash begging the officers to help them fill the online form and make payments. These applicants are therefore ready to cough out more because of their unwillingness to spare time and go through the process themselves. The only snag in this process is at the test center. Adequate infrastructures are not in place. Internet connectivity is poor meaning that applicants are unnecessarily delayed and may have to pay several visits in order to get the applications through. An applicant has had to release his ipad at one of the centers in order to aid the attending officer to do their job. At ikeja, power supply is a big issue. The small generator available is just small and old and it struggles to power the equipment. I even contemplated fetching my generator to fastrack my application when it was obvious to me that it is the generator that is wasting my time. In a nutshell I heave a sigh of relieve when finally my printout was handed over to me and I was proud I went through the process. I wrote an exam. I did eye examination. I was made to sit and watch a video of road signs and stuffs like that. New applicants were made to do a test drive. I saw a guy who failed the test and was ranting. Yet, a lot of people are looking for who to bribe in order to cut corners. Only if FRSC will be stern and do their job well. FG should provide them with good internet connectivity and reliable power supply. This is my honest take folks. NB: An officer offered to help me, I refused and told him I will go through the process. If I fail, so be it. |
mikey2fin: License to kill. Business as usual, Bribe and you will be issued a License to kill. Nigeria SUCKS, but na my countryThere you go, "bribe and you will be issued a license . . ." But why do you have to bribe. Please don't bribe folks. Just do it. Go through the process yourself. |
nchewi: Sounds good!!! But, why do they issue driver's license to people who are literally blind n people who can't drive at all?Just completed the process of renewal at Ikeja. Don't tell me the northern muslims do not know who these jihadist are. They have caused enough mayhem by using instrument of terror. It's time to hit back. A big blast during jumat throughout the north will show them that know one is immune to fear. It's going to happen. When you're pushed to the wall, you either jump over or turn back and face the demon/devil. It is better to turn back because you never know what is behind the wall. |
acidtalk: It might be hard to believe because we are not as Truthful and Honest as one another. My father said it over and over that he would jail me and even appropriately sentence me if he found me involved in any criminal act. He brought me up to be stern and straight. Seriously I will sentence him too if found culpable. it's hard to do and have done something similarly not quite long ago. Hated and disliked for it but somebody needs to step forward and say no. My next move now is to deal with any PHCN OFFICIAL who ventures to bill me for BLACKOUT. I'm really prepared to hit the headline. The only solution is : give me meter and I'll pay otherwise ... The story won't be funny. |

tanimola22: Congrats. She still has many years ahead of her. Many more things to achieve at a very young age. If she keeps working hard and getting the requisite international recognition in her field, she may become a full professor well before 40.Believe you me, this lady will be a prof before 32. This is incredible. I love this. Congrats! |
deda: i dont knw y pple come here to form . there is always a limit to ones restraints. the most annoyoing tin is guys comin here to show holier than thou attitude. Thanks for your post. You don't really know yourself until you are faced with the same situation. The restraint in USA is just because there is a law in place that prohibits a man from slapping a woman. Even at that the case is worse as they still do it till date. Without the law may be lot's of women would have swallowed their tongues and learn how to talk proper. |
moremi2008: ^^^^^^ lol @ all the responses on here. You guys have clearly never stepped outside Africa before otherwise you would know better than to go around slapping women. If you slap a woman (or a man)in the US and in most other civilized countries, she can call the cops and file assault charges. The cops don't care what she said; if you're the first to get physical, then you're in trouble with the law. That's an automatic criminal record for you; good luck finding good jobs, especially in the US! Most decent employers will assume that you have anger issues and zero self-control. That's the way it works here oh! Women have rights and you just can't slap them anyhow. If a woman is verbally assaulting you, nobody is forcing you to hang around to listen to her insults. A true gentleman with a healthy self-esteem will keep his emotions in check and get-out. At the very worst, he'll insult the woman back. I just can't imagine what a woman will say to me that'll make me physically assault her; words only hurt you if you let them in my opinion.Correct but that's in US because there's a law in place to checkmate that and that's why you have no reason to that. Fear of losing your job and going to jail are probably the reasons you will not respond violently to a woman's insult. The lady slapped the guy first while he was walking away from her and a swift reactionary slap followed from him. May be if live in US I will put myself in check but I can't promise even myself I won't hit a woman if I'm provoked. PROVOCATION ? PLS CHECK THE MEANING. BIG BROTHER DID WELL BY SENDING BOTH HOME. SHIKENA. |

Finally took possession of a 2006 Toyota HIGHLANDER Limited today from "inspired". Nice SUV and fun to drive. I don't know what I'm lacking in it yet. |
timpaker: 1. they don't show the replay and when they do, it's very difficult to understand what they're trying to show.Pls when and where the you watch this matches to corroborate your point on TV ? To the best of my knowledge HD CAMERAS are been deployed to cover this matches. The beauty of the game of football goes beyond TV. Instant replay of not less than 4 angles are always available. I know because I watch regularly. I agree with the rest of your point though but the stadium must be filled as well to complement camera works. |
I just spoke to you now. Wouldn't you consider my offer ? Besides, I asked for the mileage. Already, you told me how much you would sell it but if per chance I happen to fall within your rader, do not hesitate to let me in. Thanks. |

Enjoy reading all the comments. I'm better informed. Thanks guys. ![]() |
Guys, I love locust beans "iru". I was in a public transport weeks back and there was this man sitting by my side eating iru (locust beans) raw. Just as passengers were eating gala with pure water as usual in lagos demonic traffic, this man just brought out locust beans from his bag and simmer it down with pure water. People were like avoiding like a plague but that's what the man wanted to eat. I do eat it raw too but at home because the odour can be offensive to some people. But trust me, iru is good and medicinal. |
Guys I'm on the verge of investing 2m on a nice tokunbo ride. With all these I'm reading I guess I should just stay away and keep driving my baby boy and compliment it with staff bus. Haba Naija, |
