IconicR: And he would have achieved all these within this short period? Also do you think all taking all these decisions wouldn't have had it's negative impact? Please let's be realistic and truthful
Yes, cutting cost of governance, we will start seeing decline of corruption immediately he took over, then reduce subsidy by 50% at least the negative effect in economy will not be bad as it is today, Tinubu doesn't have atom of prudence in him so he can't give what he doesn't have, the situation will still get more worst
The effects of charge of Tinubu's administration is that things are getting worst, most of you still supporting him because of tribe, I don't expect to see any difference even with his new ministers, his service chiefs are now in charge have you notice any difference NO, is there any in Nigeria police force with the new IG NO the massive corrupt is still there, it will still get worst, there is nothing to expect from someone like Tinubu known for corrupt, those defending him are after there stomach, we saw how they worship Buhari during his regime same set of people are now insulting him. They even stone Buhari in Kano, same will happen to Tinubu
IconicR: Obidients should answer me na 😂 They called me Lauretta Onochie of Nairaland and all other names during campaign, so they should tell me what Obi would have done differently within this short period
Cut cost of governance and reduce corruption, he wanted to reduce subsidy by 50%, give out more license to local refinaries, open up the sector once we have sufficient petroleum products refine locally he will remove them completely, he also wants to boost and encourage local production of goods and support agriculture to boost food sufficient
Today, Monday the 17th day of July 2023 marked the beginning of the Central Bank of Nigeria Staff football competition, with Anambra hosting some of the zonal derby at the Awka Township Stadium.
The Port Harcourt and Owerri branch of the CBN had a fierce contest to the admiration of spectators. The hosting of the opening games of the CBN football competition in Anambra in spite of the projected stories of insecurity is a strong indication that the Government has not only reclaimed the terrain, but emboldened the people to go about their normal activities on any day without fear of intimidation by criminal elements.

horsepower102: If one person dies the south east, 15 pages of propaganda
7 people die in the south west, 4 pages (if it even makes it to front page)
40 people die in the north.. silence
Smear campaign, when you see how they push propaganda against Southeast especially here on Nairaland when you visit the region you will be asking yourself if it's another Southeast you don't know, Southeast remain the safest region
You think it's by chestbeating?? Are OSU not stupid?...
Join the contest, don't run away... I don't have time for petty talk, just join and let me trash all of you together at once... I don't have time, only have today...
sreamsense: This one always look for cut and join data to support evil of his people instead of condemning it. Even foetus knows Igbos are leaders in illegal drug dealings and baby factory businesses. More than 17% of 22.4% in South west is committed by igbos leaving among them. It is hard to see see illegal drug dealing in the west without having one ring leader that is Igbo coordinating the network. If 22.4% is from south west despite its high population, it is sure that if that of south east is determined, it will not be less than 60% with its small population.
Drug is not Just cocaine, I believe you seen the latest crackdown of drug laughing gas prompted by Olumide abuse
Jogs1900: At least they are committing the crime in their region..Your people go to other peoples region to commit crime.. Make una try dey counsel them before they carry their kaya come Lagos
No doubt that Lagos crime can't be ascribe to Yoruba but other Yoruba state especially Oyo, Ondo Osun known for high drugs prevalence, and ritual activities
Jogs1900: Cry cry baby..At least, Lagos is ranked among cities..Maybe when they are ranking villages, they will list Awka, Onitsha, Oweri, Umuahia because they are all shithole big villages..This is 2023, no sky scrapper, no world class stadium in the whole of south east...The same list has Geneva, London , Kuala lumpur, Vatican, etc..
Jogs1900: Bringing out figures to deceive your people..Statistically, compared to the population it's still low compared to Anambra that every family has a drug baron.
America has the highest debt in the world yet has the best economy...Bank no dey borrow poor man money if you no know.
The attached is the reason south west has the highest drug users...Na sti your people cause am that's why we want you to leave our region.. Your people will leave their region ti come and commit crime in the southwest whereas you will not see any Yoruba man going to the south east to commit crime.
APCNig: Obviously . The percentage of flat headed drugs trafficking developers in any area is directly proportional to the level of drugs distribution and consumption in the area
List of names arrested by EFCC yesterday, they are all Yorubas stop blaming others on rot going on in your region
AntiTerrorist: I wish to know the reason why governors (past and present) from south eastern part of the country are not performing like their counterparts in other parts of the country? As corrupt as Ganduje and Aregbesola are, their legacies can in Kano and Osun States respectfully can not be easily erased. If Igbo governors are working like Makinde of Oyo State or Nyesom Wike of Rivers States, I believe igbo's migration to other regions will be minimal. When a place is not conducive and comfortable for economic growth, people will definitely leave for where there is greater chance to succeed.
It is only in SE you will see a governor inviting Mr president to commission gutter, statue and other ridiculous projects. This is why they lack acceptance and support from there own people. SE politicians are the most wanted and the least respected by their own people. I learnt Hope Uzondinma out of fear has completely relocated to Abuja.
In southeast, they have 'professionals' as governors but I'm yet to see the impact of their professionalism apart from noise from some hired online praise singers. Inability of Igbos to flourish in their land has made them vulnerable to ridicule and disrespect from tribalists in other parts of the country. Things must not continue like this.
The current southeast governors must come together and provide an enabling environment for their citizens to prosper. Enough is enough.
Propaganda will destroy you guys in West show the pictures, let compare with that of Southeast governors
Shantyken: All na wash, na only barge dem fit use for that onitsha port.
They're planning to dredge the river through PPP to be able to receive large vessels and on the final stage of making Onitsha Port of final destination
